Chapter 5 (v.1) - Let"s Do It Together

“No need! I can do it myself. You don’t need to bother.” Kelly replied with a complicated expression. Although she was weak for the moment but her const.i.tution was really strong. She refused his help, but when she tried to get up, she failed to do so.

Seeing that Kim didn’t mock her or anything like that instead he put the small bucket away which he was carrying with him and asked Kelly in a polite tone, “Miss Kelly! Please let me help you -------- You are in your current state because of me ------ I’d really like to help, if you just let me!” A guilt could be felt from his voice.

 Kelly was already in a state of turmoil because of his actions but she was suppressing those feelings. But the words of Kim were attacking her heart time to time and she couldn’t hold against them any longer.

Whenever her eyes met with his, her heart throbs at an abnormal rate. She diverted her eyes, “You just hold my finger and I said those harsh words to you on our first meeting---- what I said to you back then you should hate me for that ------ but here you are, right in front of my eyes, treating me so nicely, like I am your mentor or something--------- you are really cruel you know----“Those words were going through her head. She was already feeling down. But his words were making her more uneasy in front of him. The young mistress of her family who deals family business is acting like a newly wed wife in front of Kim.

“Miss Kelly?”, Kim looked at her with innocence in his eyes.

She looked in his eyes not more that few seconds and again diverted them. She set her emotions and said with a stern face “Okay---- but first promise me something.”

“What is it?”, Kim asked with a surprised look on his face.

“Please don’t look me in the eyes!”, Kelly said while her snow white cheeks became light red. She was blus.h.i.+ng and pursing her lips.

“Okay. I won’t.”, Kim replied without any delay.

Hearing his response her uneasiness decreased a bit. He came by her left side, grabbed her left hand and right shoulder he lift her up and slide her back a little to the pillow behind her. Kim set the table in front of her which was on the rear of the bed. He set the mat on the table, put bowl, spoon, salt and black pepper aside the bowl and then poured the bowl with a hot soup. It’s scent was mesmerizing. “Please help yourself. I didn’t add any spices. So, you can add it to your liking”, after saying that he pour another bowl for himself, mixed it with some salt and pepper and began to eat but didn’t glance at Kelly.

On the other hand, Kelly was continuously staring at him. She was glancing at his innocent handsome face. Her face became red just by looking at him. She shook her head slightly.

“Miss Kelly are you not hungry? If you don’t have any appet.i.te then I buy you some snacks.” He realized that there was no movement from her side. So he figured maybe she didn’t like what he cooked for her.

“No, no. it’s fine I was thinking of something. I’ll try it now”, she came back to reality.

But didn’t say anything to him and mixed some salt and pepper and took her first sip, “Hmm….wow, it’s really delicious!”

Listening that Kim heaved a sigh of relieve in his heart. “It’s just that you haven’t eaten anything since morning. But, I am glad you liked it. For a moment I thought that my cooking is really horrible.”

“You……..made this soup?”, Kelly was surprised. Although she wasn’t that hungry but after first sip she put the spoon down and drank the whole bowl in one go.

Seeing that Kim was really surprised, he warned Kelly, “Miss Kelly please don’t rush like that. Take it slow you are still suffering from fever.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine”, with that said she belched little. “Oops! Sorry. Your cooking is really good. One more please”, she placed the bowl in front of Kim.

“Okay, but this is the last one”, said with a humble look on his face. But he didn’t look at her.

Seeing his att.i.tude towards her, how obedient he was towards her selfish request she was looking him in a new light.

“Here.”, he placed another bowl of soup in front of her. Seeing Kelly in her current state while she was looking at her right arm, his heart ached.

“Thank you.” She said it with grat.i.tude.

After finish eating.

“Miss Kelly, please accept my apologies for what I did back then to you. Please forgive me for my childish act. Also for not coming to see you. I am really sorry. My selfishness has brought you here today? ----- If…if something had happened to you----I really----couldn’t---forgive myself”, he lowered his head. His eyes and nose became red and tears were rolling down onto his cheeks.

Kelly was shocked, a moment ago he was smiling and talking to her, but, where the h.e.l.l his apology come from? Kelly was caught off guard again. Seeing guilt on his face and hearing his trembling voice, she replied in a hurry, “It’s okay…it’s okay…really…it’s fine…I forgive you please raise your head. And I am sorry too, I am too short tempered and I shouldn’t say those words to you back then---“

Before she could complete, Kim cut in, “I deserve all of that. I am filthy and pathetic---“

“Why…why are you saying that, you are not pathetic. You are so nice to me. I was wrong in the first place I misjudged you from the beginning. But everything is cleared to me now. You really are a good boy Kim. You treated me like I am really special to you……I forgive you please stop apologizing to me….and stop degrading yourself. Okay?” Kelly was shocked beyond imagination that he would cry over her like this.

“Do you really forgive me?”, Kim asked with a low voice.

“Yes-----I forgive you-----and please accept my apology”, Kelly said while looking at him.

Kim cleared his tears from his face and said with a smile, “Thank you Miss Kelly, you are really kind hearted girl ------------ I think I should go back.”

Kelly didn’t say anything and nodded her head, she was still in a shock. Kim put utensils back in the bucket and left the room.

When he left she heaved a sigh of relieve. She laid back and closed her eyes for a moment. “He is really weird. He talks like a man but cries like a two year old kid.” A smile appeared on her face. The night went by and the next day came.

“Kelly are you done changing?”, Natasha asked her while standing outside of the changing area.

“I’ll be out in a sec.”

The door opened and a beautiful figure appeared. “What took you so long? Anyway, how are you feeling toady?” Natasha asked.

“I am feeling much better.” Kelly replied with sweet smile.

“Of course you would, because he visited you yesterday”, Natasha taunted Kelly.

“Well, I am so lucky that he visited only me!”, Kelly mocked Natasha. She pated Natasha’s right shoulder and said, “Let me tell you this in advance that in near future you won’t be able to spout nonsense anymore.”

“Hey, I was just joking around don’t take my jokes seriously”, Natasha was taken aback from her response.

“Come on lets go the cla.s.s”, Kelly said with some impatience. Walking forward merrily.

“Whoa, whoa! Hold your Horses sugar. What’s wrong with you? Are you really Kelly Macbeth?”, Natasha asked with a surprised look.

“What’s wrong with you of course I am?”, Kelly asked with a surprised look in her face.

“Everything is wrong, how come you’re so happy today? ----- Tell me everything, what happened yesterday between you two?”, Natasha seemed to be anxious about what happened between them.

“~~Not telling~~~”, replied in a singing tone.

“You selfish brat!”, Natasha retorted.

She could figure out her happiness. Because every day, she curses Kim early in the morning but today something was different about her. Her whole demeanor changed just in one night after meeting Kim.

“Come on let’s go to the cla.s.s. It’s really getting late.” Kelly said to Natasha.

“Okay. I am coming. Hey I forgot to tell you that professor asked everyone to form study group so I was wondering if you want to form group with me?” Natasha asked Kelly.

“Why not? Let’s do it together.” She replied happily like a child had her wish fulfilled.

“Hey, what about Kim?”, Kelly asked Natasha.

“Well about him?”, Natasha said with a shrug.

“Why not ask him to join our group?”, Kelly said with a cherished smile.

“Out of question. He will never agree. He likes to work alone. You think n.o.body asked before you? ---- Well let me tell you something, many boys and girls tried to recruit him in their but he declined them without telling any reason. How are you able to recruit him I our group of duo?”

“Well, I can’t say for sure but I will try my best to recruit him.” A determination could be seen in her eyes. Natasha chuckled by her look on Kelly’s face.
