Chapter 126: To pa.s.s an opportunity by without taking advantage is a waste!

Shangguan Qiao Yun’s fragrance was not as thick as Yuan Yi’s instead, it was like a light scent from a valley, that slowly seeped out her body. It was an elegant scent, and as it wafted into Zhang Xiao Qiang’s nostrils, it brought a slight serenity to him. The slight anxiety from before a battle slowly dissipated as he breathed, while his breath tickled Shangguan Qiao Yun’s ears slightly. Her face flushed, as her pupils started to dilate, and she looked down quietly at Zhang Xiao Qiang with a complicated look.

She didn’t know if her choice was right, to abandon her natural a.s.sets as a woman, and instead, choosing to fight with weapons and to face her fear. She was fearful, afraid of the future, and blamed Zhang Xiao Qiang slightly. Did he not know that women were to be treated like flowers, and had to be taken care of by men? Flowers were sensitive and tender, she would change according to the environment. She needed the care and concern, to be watered every day, to be sheltered from the weather.

As she watched his face quietly and feeling his breath on her ear, she felt her ear becoming itchy, and the numbing sensation traveled to her heart. Her entire body felt fuzzy, and she lost the strength to support him, as she leaned back involuntarily. His face slid down her shoulder and fell onto those bountiful b.r.e.a.s.t.s of hers. His breath also blew onto her pale skin.

He was now beyond embarra.s.sed. His skin wasn’t so thick. It was all okay at first. He had leaned lightly on her shoulder and didn’t dare to exert too much force. The majority of his weight was still supported by himself. He just wanted to take a slight advantage of her, after all, it was a habit of most men. To pa.s.s an opportunity by without taking advantage is a waste.

Her shoulder had been locked in place, and as he took in her scent, he had become slightly lost and was lost in his thoughts when her body just turned soft, and before he could stop it, his head had fallen onto her b.o.o.bs. His entire face was buried like that in between her impressive peaks, his nose, and lips in contact with that milky white skin and that deep heavenly ravine. The light scent from her had become thicker, and he didn’t dare breathe in too deep, afraid that he might lose the scent.

When he regained his senses, his face was lodged deep in her soft cleavage, and he was at a loss. He was thinking if he should pretend to wake up from his nap, and lift himself off. A pair of slender arms wrapped around his head, securing his head in place. A hand caressed the back of his head gently, and with her motions, a sense of calm overcame him, and his heart also became fuzzy, as he finally decided to pretend to be asleep.

His face was wedged between her b.r.e.a.s.t.s, and he took in her elegant scent, listening to the rhythm of her heartbeat. Brother Long, Chen Yi, D2, S2, Mutant Beasts, zombies, they were all thrown to the back of his mind. He just felt that time pa.s.sed too fast. He wanted to be in this moment and not think, to not do anything. He just wanted to lay here and listen to her heartbeat, to feel her warmth.

He suddenly felt that she wasn’t as detestable. Although the current position was slightly off, to a macho man like him, it was embarra.s.sing, but he couldn’t care anymore. He felt that it was extremely familiar, as though it was a memory hidden deep within the recess of his mind. It was like he had returned to his childhood, where his mother was holding him gently and carefully, as he listened to her heartbeat, and fell into his reminiscence.

When Zhang Xiao Qiang’s head had fallen into her bosom, Shangguan Qiao Yun had been shocked. She felt at a loss, and to her, he had been extremely old-fas.h.i.+oned and stubborn, not easy to get close. He had always maintained this strong image in front of her, and even when she had been naked and stood in front of him, it didn’t change a thing. He was proud and showed his pride when they faced each other. Even when she had been begging him in front of the others earlier, he couldn’t put down the pride and ego in his heart.

Yet now, he was in her embrace, and her heartbeat quickened, as though she was a little rabbit. Seeing his tightly-shut eyes, and laying there quietly like a child, she suddenly felt a sort of peace. Where it came from, she wasn’t sure, but she stretched her hands out subconsciously, wrapping around his head like how her mother had done for her in her past. She caressed his head gently, helping him to sleep better. Seeing him sleep, the corners of her mouth lifted slightly. It was not at him, but at herself, and it had come suddenly. She suddenly felt satisfied, it was a strange feeling, but it was comforting.

His body weight became heavier on Shangguan Qiao Yun’s shoulders and she felt her arms becoming numb. She lightly transferred his head towards her legs and started stroking his face.

When Zhang Xiao Qiang felt his face being lifted from her chest, he felt a sense of regret, not because he couldn’t be close to those heavenly peaks, rather, it was the disconnect from that unfamiliar yet comfortable heartbeat. Suddenly, his head was transferred to her legs, and as he laid there and breathed her scent in, before a sense of panic could set in, a small, cool hand reached to stroke his face. He was once again soothed into a comforting peace, his heart felt warm and fuzzy, and the security helped him doze off fast.

He was lying in a boat quietly, and the boat was rocking gently, as the light breeze blew across the lake, causing slight ripples. The ripples turned to waves and started to move the various lotuses on the surface towards him. He could smell their refres.h.i.+ng scent and he opened his eyes with a slight smile to look up at the clear, blue sky. It was extremely beautiful, and he had not looked at the sky like this for a long time. He looked on greedily, hoping that it would be possible to keep the sky in his little pocket.

As the warm sunlight shone on his face, it gave him a warmth, one that he had not felt for a long time. He stretched out lazily on the boat, his entire body extremely comfortable. He watched the sky quietly, soaking in the sun, smelling the flowers, and feeling the light rocking of the boat. There was nothing that was calmer in this world at this moment in time.

Suddenly, a huge gust of wind blew past, and the ripples turned into powerful waves. They rocked the boat, threatening to turn it over, as he tried his best to jump from the boat.

His eyes fluttered open, and he saw the slender jaw line of Shangguan Qiao Yun above him. He felt that the Hummer had come to a stop, and reached out to sit himself up. As he sat up, his hands felt a soft place and out of the corner of his eyes, he saw that it was her thigh, and he didn’t feel too embarra.s.sed. He had even laid on her, so what if he touched her?
