“Younger brother has never belittled Emperor Brother.” Xiao Chen lowered his eyes; his tone was flat, showing not the slightest peek to his mood.

“Fine….. You want to marry, just go marry then!” Looking ashen, the Emperor shook his sleeves hard, pressing the anger in his heart.  The Emperor then suddenly turned his body and left. Jing Yue stood frozen blinking her eyes; he just left? Contradicting the Emperor like this was ok?

“I have my own sense of propriety.” Xiao Chen turned his gaze away without even looking at the Imperial Consort’s face; the Consort G.o.ddess’s face went pale; pursing her lips tightly, she stared at Xiao Chen and said: “For so many years you’ve refused to enter the palace, now you enter the palace for her, you don’t even want to take even a glance at me?”

“Imperial Consort G.o.ddess, please pay attention to your ident.i.ty; I still have another matters to attend, we’ll leave first.” Xiao Chen’s face was cold; raising his hand to pulled Jing Yue’s, he pulled her out of the palace hall.

Yin Qiao’s small face was tangled as she spoke. Jing Yue’s eyes widened after she finished hearing; this Imperial Consort was actually Xiao Chen’s former wife from his prior engagement that was arranged even before he was born.
