Chu Wang Fei Chapter 132 Part1

"Mu Chun, quickly give her a cup of tea!" Upon returning to Meng Xin Zhu and seeing Le Yao's body slightly trembling, Yun Qian Meng instructed Mu Chun to give her a cup of tea for her to warm up her body.

Le Yao was indeed frozen cold as she had waited for the entire night for  Yun Qian Meng came back. She also forgot to bring her cloak and it was truly cold. This time she felt her teeth trembling continuously and the cold chill steadily rushed forth from within her body.

After receiving Yun Qian Meng's instruction Mu Chun immediately approached the table side and poured a cup of warm tea, she then quickly put it inside of Le Yao's hands, which  allowed her to warm herself up while holding it.

A flow of heat immediately spread through her hand and Le Yao lowered down her head  to take  a few sips. After this she was able to disperse the chill that was lingered inside of her., She then exerting her strength to take a deep breath and slowly spoke "Xiaojie, my Xiaojie is inviting you to visit her at Ting Yu Xuan tomorrow."

Yun Qian Meng noticed  a deeply worried expression inside of Le Yao's eyes and could not help but feel a bit worried and she immediately asked "Did Biaojie mention anything further?"

Ever since she got married she was trying to familiarize herself with the matters inside Chu Xiang Fu, and the addition to her thinking about the father and son relations.h.i.+p between Chu Pei and Chu Fei Yang, she had not met her biaojie for quite some time already.

But when she thought of the matter that Chu Fei Yang had informed her during that time, it had startled Yun Qian Meng's worried heart once again and she did not know whether Qu Fei Qing was also inviting her to go over because of that same matter.

After hearing Yun Qian Meng's words Le Yao persistently shook her head and replied honestly "Yes, Xiaojie, my Xiaojie had not informed nubi about this matter."

After speaking Le Yao paced back and forth for a while with a slight hesitation and struggle. Her slightly pale lips opened a few times, yet she was unable to speak the words from the bottom of her heart.

Seeing her awkward behavior Yun Qian Meng knew that Le Yao must have known something therefore gently said "Me and biaojie are like real sisters. If you know something, you have to tell me, so that I will be able to know how to help my biaojie!"

Looking at Yun Qian Meng's serious face and sincere gaze Le Yao slightly bit her lower lip. She then, as if she had already made up her mind as she resolutely lifted up her head, slightly took two steps forward and approached Yun Qian Meng and lowered voice said "Tonight at dinner Mister had visited my Xiaojie at Ting Yu Xuan and had dinner together. After dinner, Xiaojie invited Mister to the side room for a heart-to-heart chat, but the Mister sent all the yatous out of the room. After a while a faint sound of argument between Xiaojie and Mister echoed from within. Soon afterwards, the yatous saw Mister left Ting Yu Xuan wearing a cold expression on his face, and our xiaojie's face turned ugly. She then instructed nubi to come over to Chu Xiang Fu and invite you over to have a chat with her tomorrow."

After hearing Le Yao's report Yun Qian Meng slightly tightened her grip on her handkerchief a.s.she immediately remembered about her conversation at Ting Yu Xuan with Qu Fei Qing about Physician Xiao Nie a few days ago. Later Xi Lin informed her that during that time, Qu Zhang Qing was =standing by the doorway. Perhaps he had already heard the conversation between her and Qu Fei Qing, however during these past few days he had been too busy handling the matters concerning Yun Xiang Fu and with the  addition of his newly promoted position as the head of the Ministry of Justice, things have gotten too complicated and this matter was delayed.

Now that the matter concerning Luo Cheng had came to an end and Emperor Yu Qian had already issued an imperial decree summoning all the imperial physicians who had been dispatched to Luo Cheng. In a few days, Physician Xiao Nie would be returning back to the capital, perhaps Qu Zhang Qing wanted to make use of this period of time before Physician Xiao Nie returned back and have a thorough discussion with Qu Fei Qing.

But, Yun Qian Meng was unable to grasp what sort of special approach Qu Zhang Qing had regarding this matter. What would be the main point of the argument between him and Qu Fei Qing.

For a moment, numerous thoughts flashed through Yun Qian Meng's mind, yet her face remained calm. Then hearing the second sound of the night watches faintly echoed from the outside, she took a thick cloak from Mu Chun hands and handed it over to Le Yao. She then she instructed "The time is late, you must return in advance! Tomorrow after lunch, I shall go to Fu Guo Gong Fu to visit my biaojie!"

Seeing Yun Qian Meng had already agreed Le Yao looked delighted. She immediately bent her knees towards Yun Qian Meng and under Mu Chun's a.s.sistance o she put on the cloak and left Chu Xiang Fu.

"Xiaojie, it is already dark, you must take your rest a bit earlier." Looking at Yun Qian Meng's slightly tired face Mu Chun spoke with concern.

"Where's Xiang Ye?" Yun Qian Meng inquired about Chu Fei Yang.

Probably due to the reason of Chu Fei Yang wanting to make the place free to herself, he had not returned back to Meng Xin Xiao Zhu.

"Xiang Ye had instructed Xi Lin to come here and report earlier. He said that he would go to the study to arrange the account books and be back in after a while. He wanted Xiaojie to have some rest first and not get too tired." Yuan Dong carried a basin of warm water while walking in and replied after, hearing Yun Qian Meng's question.

Soon after she proceeded to the inner room and put the copper basin on the wooden rack.At the same time Mu Chun a.s.sisted Yun Qian Meng and entered the inner room, then she helped Yun Qian Meng to take off her outer winter clothes and let down her strong and fine black hair that she worn in a bun before and , combed them gently.

Yuan Dong held up the copper basin then laid it down beside Yun Qian Meng's hands permitting her to wash her hands.

Yun Qian Meng waited until her both hands turned warm and soft, then she took out her hands from that warm water. Afterwhich, while facing the copper basin, she carefully washed off the exhaustion from her face. Finally, she took a dry handkerchief from Yuan Dong's hand and carefully wiped off the traces of water from her face.

After she freshened up, Yun Qian Meng reclined down on the bed and read the remaining travel journals that she used to read during her normal days. Mu Chun, being afraid that she might hurt her eyes, put the candle-light near her and together with Yuan Dong retreated out from the inner room.

Unconsciously, the sound of the night watch had echoed outside for the third time. Yun Qian Meng had originally planned to stay and wait for Chu Fei Yang but her vision had already turned misty due to drowsiness., Unable to resist against her sleepiness, she reclined on the bedside and deeply dozed off to sleep.

After Chu Fei Yang returned back to Meng Xin Xiao Zhu what greeted him  was the sight of his wife reclining down on the bedside while only wearing a honey-colored coat and her hands holding a scroll as she was sleeping.

In his heart he felt somehow angered because of Yun Qian Meng's carelessness but at the same time he blamed himself for coming back too late. He immediately stepped forward quietly and softly pulled out the scroll from her hand. He then helped her removed the outer coat while he carefully supported her nape, letting Yun Qian Meng to lie inside a quilt.

Yun Qian Meng originally had a high mental alertness, since there was something missing in her hand, she was slowly woke up from a dream. She slowly opened wide her eyes, which were still sleepy, and with the automatic reflex in her both hands she intended to grab onto the other person's arms and make a shoulder throw. But the moment she saw w clearly that the person in front was Chu Fei Yang, she just muttered in her low sleepy voice "You're home!"

Watching Yun Qian Meng's hands quickly stretched out from the quilt earlier, Chu Fei Yang shook his head, finding it funny. Then with patience he tucked her both hands inside the quilt once again as to prevent Yun Qian Meng from catching a cold. After that,he stood up to blow out the majority of the candle and took off his outer clothing. He then also laid down on the bed and embraced Yun Qian Meng with  his arms. He then gently kissed her fragrant hair, spoiling her as he spoke "Sleep now."

But after being tossed by him from side to side, Yun Qian Meng became awake. While Chu Fei Yang was  embracing his waist with one had, her body rested on top of it. Her small face leaned closer to his chest and listened to the strong and powerful heartbeat. Yun Qian Meng slightly narrowed her both eyes and spoke in a lowered voice "Fei Yang, I will go to Fu Guo Gong Fu tomorrow."

"En!" A low voice responded from the top of her head "I'm a bit busy tomorrow, I might not be able to accompany you, you must be careful."

Hearing Chu Fei Yang urging her with unease, the half-asleep Yun Qian Meng laughed. A smile with a bit of indolent charm spread out from the corner of her mouth, which caused Chu Fei Yang who was lowering down his head to be able to see her distinctively, stirring up the sad feeling in his heart. It reminded him of the unfinished task earlier at Feng Mo Zhai. Chu Fei Yang's hand touched Yun Qian Meng's waist, however seeing the faint blue-green below her eyes, that agitated hand gradually halted its activity and just quietly hugged her without proceed further.

"Do you know what my biaoge  thinks?" Being unaware of her husband's thoughts, Yun Qian Meng rubbed her face against his chest, after which she spontaneously leaned her body closer to him, shrinking back in his arms. After feeling the warmth of his body, she  sighed in pleasure, while feeling comfortable.

Seeing his wife throwing herself in his arms, Chu Fei Yang suddenly cursed himself secretly for pretending to be a gentleman during this moment. She definitely was his wife, the time now was obviously night, he was obviously inside the inner room lying on his own bed, so why would he just sit back and relax?

He slowly increasing the strength in his hand which had Yun Qian Meng's b.r.e.a.s.t.s to lean closer to his chest he then replied "Regarding what Qu Zhang Qing thinks, how will I know? But his love and protection for his meimei is quite sincere. I believe he wouldn't hurt his own meimei!"

Hearing Chu Fei Yang speaking that way Yun Qian Meng slightly opened wide her half narrowed eyes. She then lifted her head up and looked at Chu Fei Yang. As she was about to ask another question, she was welcomed by a very sentimental kiss. A warm hand had already pa.s.sed through her inner clothings and unknowingly fit snugly into the skin on her waist and its burning heat quickly ignited the temperature on her body…...

The next day when she woke up Chu Fei Yang was no longer by her side. Yun Qian Meng felt as if her body was falling apart. Her head hurt, her waist hurt, even her bones hurt. However, thinking about the things that she needed to do today she supported her forehead and sat up. Then with a soft voice she called out for the people outside the door "Mu Chun!"

"Xiaojie, you're awake!" Not long after, Mu Chun carefully lifted up the curtain and saw Yun Qian Meng sitting on the bedside wrapped in a small coat. Mu Chun immediately hung the curtain on the silver hook and went to support Yun Qian Meng down from the bed, however after seeing Yun Qian Meng's face that still look tired, she spoke in a convincing manner"Xiaojie, lie down and rest longer. The time is still very early. Before Xiang Ye had left he instructed all servant girls to work quietly, and not to wake you up."

Yun Qian Meng looked up at the sky and saw that it had just started brighten up as the, strands of sunlight started to go through the cotton curtain, s.h.i.+ning inside the inner room, which had made the already warm inner room to appear even more comfortable. Yet, Yun Qian Meng was preoccupied in her mind and could no longer  sleep. She shook her head and allowed Mu Chun to a.s.sist her in changing clothes and was.h.i.+ng up. By the time everything was arranged Ying Xia and the others had already arranged the dishes on the dining table.

Yun Qian Meng ate some of them, then she allowed for the people to take them away. During this time Mi Mama brought in the brocade box that contained the jade bracelet given to her by Madam Xie, and asked "Xiaojie, should we put this jade bracelet inside the inner room, or the storeroom?"

Hearing Mi Mama's question Yun Qian Meng stretched her hands out and took the box. She opened it and saw that yangzhi jade bracelet  was still inside. Yun Qian Meng took it out and had Mi Mama hold it, so, shecould thoroughly inspected the brocade box.Then she made sure that she saw nothing wrong with the bracelet, she put it back into the box again and handed the box over to Mi Mama as she spoke indifferently "Keep it in the storeroom then!"

When worn outside such kind of bracelet could only attract other people' glances and jealousy.  The furens and xiaojies of the capital, every single one of them was too difficult to deal with and as long as there was a little sign of trouble, these trivial things concerning one's family would become well-known to them.

At this time Emperor Yu Qian was defensive towards Chu Fei Yang, if she was to wear this priceless jade bracelet away from home and strut it in the public, there might be someone to standing by with the intention of seizing the evidence of her potential wrongdoing.

Since she and Chu Fei Yang had been bonded together as husband and wife, then their hearts and souls should naturally be united as one, as well. So, how could she help outsiders deal with her own husband?

Mi Mama seeing Yun Qian Meng being careful like that, her eyes exposed a smile. Taking that brocade box, she nodded her head then proceeded towards the direction of storeroom.

And during this time Shang Guan Mama slowly walked in. Seeing Yun Qian Meng sitting on the head seat she bent her knees "Nubi is here to meet Furen!"

Seeing it was Shang Guan Mama, Yun Qian Meng laid down the teacup that she had just lifted and spoke with a smile "Mama, don't be too courteous, please sit down at once!"

After speaking, she allowed Mu Chun to offer tea once again and lifted her  teacup once more to take a sip and asked "Mama, do you have any concerns for coming here?"

Hearing Yun Qian Meng asking Shang Guan Mama spoke respectfully "Nubi knew that the current year would soon be coming to an end. This year the master has came home from Youzhou to celebrate new year with us, so I came to seek your advice concerning the things we needed to prepare. Should we invite both w.a.n.g Ye and Lao Ye inside our Xiang Fu?"

Hearing Shang Guan Mama's words Yun Qian Meng could not help but nod her head as she had more respect towards this Mama. However, the relations.h.i.+p between father and son was not that harmonious. Furthermore, Chu Fei Yang had not mention anything regarding this matter and probably had no intentions of inviting more people into Xiang Fu. Yun Qian Meng laughed and said "I thank Mama for worrying in advance over things that should to be prepared for the new year's feast. Regarding the venue that will be used for the celebration, no matter if it's w.a.n.g Fu or Xiang Fu, we need to wait for husband or grandpa to discuss over it and only then can we make a decision. However, since this matter concerns over the New Year's celebration, regardless where I and husband are celebrating,  Xiang Fu should be bustling with noise and excitement and Mama should follow the usual traditions and preparations as in the previous years. However, mama should take more precautions than the years before."

Hearing Yun Qian Meng's words Shang Guan Mama had something in her mind and in her heart she became increasingly more fond and respectfully towards this young furen who was handling everything in accordance. Mama then voiced her  second concern "In the previous years instead of Xiang Ye it was usually nubi and Steward Hong, who were distributing the red packets to all the yatous and manservants. However, since we have furen this year should we still do as per usual?"

Seeing Shang Guan Mama reminding her things one after another, Yun Qian Meng decided to learn more about them. The task of distributing red packets seemed to be a complicated and a trivial matter, however depending from those hands these red packets came from would create an entirely different feeling!

Fortunately Shang Guan Mama and Steward Hong were extremely loyal people, or else the master of this Xiang Fu might have already been replaced long time ago.

"This year, I will be the one in charge of distributing red packets. Mu Chun, in a while fetch me a list of all the names of the servant girls and manservants of every rank and the account books concerning the amount of money they ought to receive. After I've finished checking them I will prepare the necessary amount of money." Putting down the teacup Yun Qian Meng took out a handkerchief and wiped the corner of her mouth and in a lowered voice instructed Mu Chun.

Right after that Shang Guan Mama and Yun Qian Meng discussed a few more things concerning some urgent matters inside Xiang Fu and then stood up and said goodbye to one another.

Mu Chun glanced outside and gently said"Xiaojie, it is almost lunch time allow me to serve you some dishes!" She had seen that Yun Qian Meng and Shang Guan Mama have been discussing matters concerning Xiang Fu for the entire morning.

Having heard what was said, Yun Qian Meng lifted her eyes and took a glimpse outside. Thinking that she still needed to go to Fu Guo Gong Fu, she complied  with Mu Chun and nodded her head "Have you prepared the horse carriage already?"

"Yes!" Mu Chun cleverly responded, after which she a.s.sisted Yun Qian Meng to sit down and eat in front of the dining. table

Without anyone else around Yun Qian Meng ate much faster, as she simple tasted a some vegetables and fish with a small bowl of rice and drank half a bowl of duck soup. After that she allowed the servants to take everything away.  After noticing that Yun Qian Meng stood up s Yuan Dong draped the fox fur coat over Yun Qian Meng's body. Yun Qian Meng together with Mu Chun and Dong Yuan left for the horse carriage and left Ying Qiu and Ying Xia behind to take care of the courtyard.  Once they were inside of the carriage they left the fu for  Fu Guo Gong Fu…...

"Go, go, go, let's go over there and kill the corrupt official……" The sound of the running footsteps echoed from the outside when the horse carriage pa.s.sed through the main road and from time to time the common people' yelling could be heard.

Yun Qian Meng raised her hand to lift up the curtains as her eyes simply looked outside just to see an enormous number of common people rus.h.i.+ng towards the direction of the public market.

"Humph, serves him right, who told Su Yuan to bully our xiaojie with every possible means! Now this is part of his retribution!" Facing the person who had once framed her own xiaojie, Mu Chun's heart did not contain the very least bit of sympathy.Instead, she was quite disdainful towards him.

Yun Qian Meng lowered down the curtains of the carriage and while wearing her usual facial expression quietly sat inside of the carriage. The matters concerning Su family had basically came to an end and as for the people and things that had already pa.s.sed them by, Yun Qian Meng had no mood to mind them anymore. After all, the world that she and Chu Fei Yang were about to face in the future, were even more th.o.r.n.y than Su Yuan. As compared to troubling oneself due to  some simple clown's tricks, it would be better for them to concentrate on superior people.

"Furen, we have arrived at Fu Guo Gong Fu!" As the horse carriage gradually settled down Xi Lin's voice echoed from outside.  Mu Chun and Yuan Dong took the lead and jumped down from the carriage and placed a stool in front. They then a.s.sisted Yun Qian Meng to slowly walk down.

Le Yao had already instructed someone to prepare a soft palanquin at the doorway of Fu Guo Gong Fu and now seeing that Yun Qian Meng had arrived on time, her face looked pleased. Taking quick steps forward she bowed down to Yun Qian Meng "Pleased to see you, xiaojie!"

After which she personally a.s.sisted Yun Qian Meng to sit inside the palanquin and the few of them proceeded towards Ting Yu Xuan.
