Chapter 9 – Is the Crown Prince going to give a punishment?

The Heavenly Empire's princes are the nimbus of the universe. They're extremely and utterly bewitching. His Highness the Crown Prince standing before her was even more outstanding. His face especially elegant, his eyelashes slender and long like feathers of a bird. Sunlight illuminated the face, casting away the long shadow. His nose was tall and sharp like a it could cut with a knife, his slightly pursed lips maintained a raised arc,  a gentle smiling expression hung on his lips seemingly harmoniously blending in with those pair of bright eyes.

This kind of gentle like jade guy was every girl's dream lover.

When I unconsciously remembered Yu Er's words, my face turned slightly red. I immediately disposed those presumptuous thoughts and inwardly scolded myself. Yue Qing Ying, you've gone mad. Have you forgotten what kind of person you are?

At this moment, a warm voice rang beside my ear.

"You are called Yue Qing Ying?"

I was dumbfounded for a moment before raising my head. Pei Yuan Xiao was still reading his book, without lifting his head but the question earlier definitely came from him.

Usually princes asking questions to court maids is a very common thing, but for some reason, when he opened his mouth, it felt sudden and weird to me.

"Yes…"

He turned his head around to look at me, and lightly laughed. "Qing Ying, it's a good name."

My cheeks reddened. "Thank you, Your Majesty."

"How long have you been in the Palace."

"To anwer Your Majesty, this servant has been in the palace for four years."

"Four years?" He was seemingly recalling something. "Four years, and still at the inner storehouse, without being promoted and without being transferred to other places?"

"This servant likes this place."

After speaking, I subconsciously lowered my head and didn't dare to look at him, I could feel his gaze watching me attentively with a smile hanging on his lips, it was quiet for a long time before I heard him gently say. "Yes. This prince likes this place too."

Flabbergasted, I looked at him and only saw Pei Yuan Xiu smiling lightly, he brushed past me and walked out.

After Pei Yuan Xiu left, I was still somewhat absent-minded. Once it turned dark, it was time to go home. Yu Er swiftly came over and caught me as I just entered. "Qing Ying, Qing Ying, what happened? Is the Crown Prince going to punish me?"

Looking at her worried expression, I let out a small laugh. "No, His Majesty the Crown Prince didn't really hear anything, he never even mentioned it.

After hearing that, Yu Er relaxed and let out a long sigh.

But this girl, in the end, was too curious for her own good, just as she relaxed, she turned her eyes to side to look at me. "Qing Ying. You never told me that the His Majesty the Crown Prince often goes to the inner storehouse."

"It's nothing. The crown prince only comes sometimes to read."

"Really?" She looked at me with deep meaning, laughing. "Sometimes or often? I saw how he looked at you."

"Yu Er, you're asking for a spanking!"

I glared at her, and slowly walked to the side of the table to sit, Yu Er who seemed to feel something caressed my shoulder. "Qing Ying, what's wrong? You seem restless the whole day. Are you unhappy about something?"
