In a palace that was located above a ganoderma-like platform, the soul of Qiu Jin'er flew in and entered a young maiden’s body sitting in the lotus-position. A beautiful woman came in laughing, “Bathing in the lightning and refining the soul is the secret art of the Lei Hu Clan, it wasn’t easy for mother to steal it over. If you tempered your soul amidst lightning, your achievements in the future will not be lower than the four strongest youngsters in Swords gate.”

Qiu Jin'er opened her eyes and said, “Mother, I have met with a senior martial brother, he was also there refining his soul in a soul weapon, I had a little conversation with him.”

“What’s wrong? Did two third of my prowess just disappeared?”

Xin Huo then jumped out from the Dragon Scale Sword, he shook his head and answered Zhong Yue’s doubts, “This is the marvelous part of the lightning refining soul training, your psyche before was full of impurities, although your psyche ocean was big, your psyche wasn’t strong. The lightning refining soul training utilizes the banis.h.i.+ng power of the lightning to purge the impurities in your psyche. Hence, although your psyche shrunk down by a lot, it is actually stronger and tougher! Look, there are slight surges of lightnings lurking in your psyche ocean, this is evidence that your psyche is getting stronger!

Zhong Yue’s soul glanced around. Indeed, there were surges of lightning flas.h.i.+ng and moving around in his psyche ocean like golden snakes under the seawater. 

“Your psyche is still not strong enough, if your psyche is strong enough, you can turn your psyche ocean into a pool of lightning or even a lightning sea! The psyche turns condenses into liquid lightning and lightning water, psyche like this is tens of times stronger than that brat Shui Qinghe’s!” Xin Huo continued on saying.

“Lightning pool, lightning sea? Lightning liquids, lightning waters?”

“You soul has been reforged through the lightning, it condenses as the impurities were cleansed from it. Get some rest, take a few more Yuling Pellets and refine your body with your psyche. Tomorrow, you will continue the training.”

Xin Huo smiled and said, “Wait until your body is stronger, then you will be directly refining your body with the lightning but now, you are still far from that stage.” 

Body and the lightning? Wouldn’t I be cooked?

Zhong Yue recollected his thoughts, he consumed three Yuling Pellets and started visualizing the Jiao Dragon Winding Body Totem Art, immediately the efficacy of the medicinal pellets was rapidly consumed and failed to last as long as before, moments later he would have to ingest another three Yuling Pellets. 

Before this, I was unable to strengthen my body further with the【Jiao Dragon Winding Body Totem Art】, but now with the increase in psyche strength, I can once again strengthen my body! 

Zhong Yue was surprised and happy, he continued on cultivating and just for that one night, he had consumed sixty Yuling Pellets!

Zhong Yue’s soul entered the Dragon Scale Sword, he controlled it and once again he arrived at the lightning zone. Not long after he started refining his soul with the lightning, Qiu Jin'er also arrived, they shared pleasantries  before they went on their own training. 

Work will never be boring when there is a pair of male and female.

Xin Huo sat on Zhong Yue’s shoulder and thought in his heart, Brat Yue saw that even a little young girl is already a Qi Pract.i.tioner, hence he subsumed the pressure into his own drive, starting to cultivate and train crazily. The disciples of the upper house can claim ten Yuling Pellets every month from the Valley of Remedy, but it is still too little to me, ten Yuling Pellets can’t even sustain an hour of my training. 

Zhong Yue was troubled, he pondered and thought to himself, If only I can still enter the Demon Ruins and earn myself some Yuling Pellets, but unfortunately, entry to the Demon Ruins is now occluded. I can only search for other alternatives, I wonder if I can find any other ways to earn myself some Yuling Pellets….

Just when he was about to stand up, the voice of a female could be heard calling for him from the outside of the courtyard, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong! Junior Martial Brother Zhong Yue of the Zhong Shan Clan!”

“It’s the voice of Senior Martial Sister Ting!” 

Zhong Yue recognized her voice and quickly he walked over to open the courtyard’s door, he thought to himself, Why is Senior Martial Sister Ting looking for me?

After he opened the door, he got a shock of his life, there were dozens of upper house female disciples standing outside of the door curiously inspecting the surroundings with their eyes. Out of thirty over female disciples, he only knew three of them, namely the one that called for him, Ting Lanyue. Yu Feiyan who dressed herself in clothes of black and the young lady in red, Tao Daier. 

The air was saturated with the fragrant body scent of the young ladies, the perfumes were concocted by the ladies with the flower pollens they have harvested, the ladies looked more beautiful and youthful after applying the perfumes. 

From afar, the male disciples eyeballed them, they were all shocked as they saw so many female disciples appearing in the male house, their eyes were burning with envy when they glanced at Zhong Yue. 

Why are the senior martial sisters here?

Zhong Yue was perplexed, he said, “Senior martial sisters, please come in, I will prepare tea.” 

 “It’s alright, we will not enter.”

Ting Lanyue smirked and said, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, we plan to leave the mountain and go on a training trip to prepare ourselves for the upcoming Lawless Battle. The number of beasts in the Beast G.o.d Ridge are getting greater and they are threatening the safety of the tribes nearby, a lot of villages were eaten away by them. We will be heading over there to prevent the beasts from causing anymore damage. In the meantime, we can also earn ourselves some credits from this Swords Gate mission and exchange them for some medicinal pellets and soul weapons.”

Tao Daier laughed beside them and said, “Initially we didn’t plan to bring along a smelly man, but Senior Martial Sister Yu said that you are strong. Plus, I have smelled you before and I don’t find your scent particularly foul, so we are graciously inviting you to join us.”

Zhong Yue thought for a second, his Dragon Blood Sword Scabbard flew over and landed beneath his leg, he smiled and said, “Thank you Senior Martial Sister Tao.”

Yu Feiyan was indifferent and she said, “There is no need for useless plat.i.tudes, we will now depart. We might just be able to reach the Beast G.o.d Ridge before the night falls.” 

Tao Daier quickly took out a small pouch, smiled and said, “The Beast G.o.d Ridge is far, it will take two to three days if we walk, I borrowed a pouch of clouds from my clan’s Qi Pract.i.tioners, if we travel on the clouds, we will arrive before the sun sets.”

The pouch was opened, —Gu-lu gu-lu gu-lu—, rainbow colored clouds billowed out from the opening, moments later the clouds lifted Zhong Yue and the young ladies up into the air.

Zhong Yue was surprised, Tao Daier smiled and said, “These rainbow clouds are a soul weapon, its name – Rainbow Clouds Carrier. It’s purpose is not for combat but as a transportation vehicle. I will control the direction while the sisters can power it with your psyches, we can then fly to Beast G.o.d Ridge. We will take turns in powering it so that our psyches will not be completely exhausted when we reach the Beast G.o.d Ridge.”

In the male house, hundreds of male disciples stared at the rainbow clouds as the female disciples and Zhong Yue flew away, they were all silent in ponderous distraction. 

“There is a big bull in our neighboring village, it was big and strong, every month the villagers nearby will rein their cows over to it, dozens of cows waited in line for their turn while the other bulls could only watched in envy….”

A male disciple lifted his head and stared blankly at the rainbow clouds, he mumbled, “We give the big bull the appellation of the big mating bull….”

“Brother, why are suddenly talking about this?” another male disciple beside asked curiously. 

From afar, the pair of eyes of a barrel-chested and muscular man brightened, he watched as the rainbow clouds flew out of the Swords Gate, he grinned, “Finally you are willing to leave … Prepare the Thunder King Wherry, we the Lei Hu Clan disciples will also go to the Beast G.o.d Ridge, I will personally entertain this Zhong Yue!” 

Over twenty  Lei Hu Clan elite disciples answered his call, they dragged out a hundred feet long large wherry and in the middle of the wherry stood the deity statue of the G.o.d of Thunder, Leigong, the statue was carved with the thunder totem. The Lei Hu Clan disciples boarded the wherry and the wherry floated in mid-air towards the Beast G.o.d Ridge.
