Chapter 12—You’re Just an Illegitimate Child That’s Not Even On the Same Level As an Ordinary Maid

Mo Qingyu’s eyes, that had originally been filled with insipidness, suddenly sobered up. However, just at that moment Mo Qingli shot a look towards him at the same time, as cold as a container of ice; from the inside to out he was completely penetrated with that chill.

“Eldest princess…” Even though things had turned out like this, Tao Yi still forced himself to laugh mockingly as he addressed Mo Qingyu, his entire body trembling.

“This matter, you don’t have to worry about it, I will explain.” Mo Qingyu still maintained her arrogant att.i.tude even now. “Now, bring them with you, and get out.”

“Yes, yes, yes.” Tao Yi ushered the three men and dragged the dead man with him, hurriedly leaving.

Mo Qingyu’s guards and maids as well as Yue Yao stood at the entranceway, defending their own masters.

Mo Qingyu pulled up the clothing on her body, after which she carefully sized up Mo Qingli, who was currently sitting across from her. The Mo Qingli now was still reminiscent of her former insipid appearance, although now she resembled more like a fallen fairy, pure and cleansed.

If Mo Qingyu were to order her to head north, she would never dream of heading south. How could somebody like this be compared to a fairy?

“Sixth sister!” Mo Qingyu took initiative, her tone unpleasant.

Mo Qingli sat on the chair, fiddling with the golden ring on her finger, lowering her eyes and not looking at her, instead indifferently replying: “Eldest sister.”

Mo Qingyu’s eyebrows furrowed together, faint signs of anger appearing on her face. “This sixth sister shows no respect when talking to her eldest sister; certainly this eldest sister knows how stupid the sixth sister is, but could it be that you can’t even remember basic etiquette?”

“Oh? Then how can eldest sister explain how she treats human life like mustard gra.s.s?²” Mo Qingli unhurriedly raised her pupils, long and narrow almond-shaped eyes looking towards Mo Qingyu, revealing not even a trace of warmth.

Mo Qingyu, at being greeted with Mo Qingli’s att.i.tude was startled into stunned silence. Afterwards, she slowly turned around her body, her entire self filled with anger, grabbing onto the table that was still covered in blood: “Mo Qingli, who do you think you are? You’re just an illegitimate child that’s not even on the same level as an ordinary maid. If it weren’t for me protecting you all this time, do you really think you would have been able to have your own residence? If it weren’t for me saying good things about you to the Mother Empress, do you really think you would have been able to peacefully embrace all sorts of beautiful men?”
