Chapter 42: Plunging to the Beginnings of a Walking Zombie with Infinite Potential

The Zombie Explosion Pill snags the expensive price of destroying oneself's body and stimulating the cells to their maximum potential, revealing ultimate strength.

The consequences of using the pill is that it destroys the foundation and makes recovery difficult

The medicinal strength within the pill destroys the cells within a zombie. Recovering from the pill is normally impossible.

However, the bodily refining methods of the ‘Tai Yin Refining Figures’ are unique. This body cultivation method might just resolve the backlash resulted from the pill. The refining method reworks cells, teaching cells the ability of artificial breathing. It brings the greatest effects of recovering.

Luckily for Zhang Yang, the blood of the boa was exceptionally gentle and silky, easy for the damaged cells to nurture from. (The amounts of blood was just sufficient, not too overbearing. Just like Goldilocks ;p)

Thinking like this, it creates relief for Zhang Yang, he at the least could recover from his broken state.

"Haha! My strength, spiritual power, talismans. They'll once again belong to me! Then I'll be able to abuse these powers.

Zhang Yang releases varieties of joyous chuckles, his happy expressions didn't match the demonical aura surrounding his blood-ridden face. Then he picks up the severed end of the boa, drinking the mellow, cold blood. The blood converts to the tiniest hint of Yin Qi, slowly healing the damaged cells.

While Zhang Yang was busy absorbing the Qi, he didn't realize that the lumberjack had woken up. The lumberjack had soiled himself as he escaped. (I believe the conscious one left without his friend)

After two full hours, some Qi swelled and finally awakened in his body.

"Wen–"

A beautiful sound reverberates, every blood vessel and bone displayed clearly in Zhang Yang's mind.

He became able in using the spiritual sense again. Finally!

The first time Zhang Yang absorbed the blood from a boa, the blood had almost caused his body to explode. Now, Zhang Yang already has experience, He had no issues in absorbing such a simple creature.

The cells in his abdomen and chest begin to repair themselves as well.

Although his chest and abdomen had been fixed, he still was unable to locate his Sea of Qi.

Technically, Level 1 zombies should get both benefits of internal spiritual sense and their first cyclone that resides in the Sea of Qi. But Zhang Yang was puzzled to see that his Sea of Qi vanished.

"Without the Sea of Qi, the cyclone cannot be formed, but how did I recover my spiritual sense? What's with the spiritual power in my body? What's going on? Am I a Hopping Zombie or a Walking Zombie?"

Zhang Yang became desperate for an answer, he could feel his strength still stooping at the first level of Walking Zombie.

Then after some thought, the thoughts turned more optimistic.

"Since I have my power, why should I care for a cyclone? The effect of the cyclone is to convert and contain the spiritual power in the body, but right now, I can still keep my spiritual power circulation without the cyclone."

Zhang Yang can feel that his cells are absorbing the Qi and turning the Qi into spiritual power, which is then being stored inside his body.

"The cyclone's effect is to contain the spiritual power, and when the Sea of Qi is filled with that spiritual power, it will then transform into liquid to enter the Foundation Building realm. Otherwise known for zombies as the Purple Blood Zombie. But now because of my unique cultivation method, my cells can contain spiritual power that exceeds the capacity of the sea. This is beneficial, meaning that the potential I have in reaching the Purple Blood realm is high. It also shows that my spiritual power is domineering compared to any enemy at the same realm."

Zhang Yang is super happy right now. Although he has returned to being a Level 1 Walking Zombie, his potential has even pa.s.sed the clouds.

Zhang Yang wobbles and dances around happily at the mere thought of his newly shaped potential.

He finally recovered his spiritual power, thus giving him access to his pouch once again. Retrieving some Yin Beads, he eyes them with the feeling of nostalgia as if meeting with an old friend. The Yin Bead raises Yin Qi from it, lingering around the area, and cooled Zhang Yang.

Continuing his excursion west, the Yin Qi that radiated off Zhang Yang frightened all creatures that had thoughts of approaching.

Thinking of the lumberjack he met during the day, Zhang Yang knew he might stumble on human property. In the past year, his resolution has been cultivation. Now thinking of normal humans, he felt quite distant as if never being their kind. He got bored after all this time alone, if he wasn't a zombie then he would've entered a human establishment ages ago.

After traveling for awhile, Zhang Yang is lured by the emitting Yin Qi. It came from an ancient tomb, the wandering Yin Qi was heavy and loaded, an aura perfect for Zhang Yang.

Zhang Yang became hyper after seeing the ma.s.ses of Yin Qi stored in the tomb.

"There might be better Yin environments deeper in the mountains, but I must seal my desires. It's highly possible that one of the corpse cultivators is residing in those Yin environments, maybe even multiple."

After reminiscing over the thought, his experience from the valley told him to avoid this possibility.

Fortunately, he had met w.a.n.g Yao first, if he had met any Foundation Building cultivator, his chances of escaping would drop below zero.

"The Feng Shui around here is good, so those corpse cultivators will avoid a place such as this ancient tomb."
