In contrast with Sofia's raging emotions, Su Bai was curiously observing the gla.s.s of liquor. Su Bai found the worm that wriggled out cute.

As someone who used a non-traditional way to obtain the vampire lineage, Su Bai's had only a single vampire ability. He had no channels to obtain the blood tribe's magic.

Right before him should be a mutated branch of the blood tribe's magic. Using his own fresh blood as the primer and allowing others to drink it. At that time, he would use it to threaten and control them.

This method was awesome.

These were Su Bai's personal thoughts. It was totally different from Sofia who was standing there in a rage.

"Jaron, what's the meaning of this? You are my superior and also my senior in Dreadful Radio. I need an explanation from you about this cup of blood liquor. If not, at most, we'll fall out today. Since you attempted to take action against me, i can absolutely retaliate while disregarding any karma ties!"

This was a threat.

Su Bai placed the liquor on the floor with a heavy heart. He clapped his hands. If Sofia really wanted to take action, she would have already done it. Even though the man called Jaron did it in a roundabout way, it did not generate any direct damage to Sofia. If Sofia retaliated, it was absolute principle. If this incident escalated, Jaron would be heavily bounded by karma. This would affect the difficulty of his task in the next story world.

Perhaps when in the same story world with this woman, this woman's abilities were a notch higher than others. Therefore, it made up for her innocence and stupidity in other aspects.

Other people had actually dared to use this method against you, how could they possibly be afraid of your threats?

Just as expected, Jaron open his hands and smiled. He then took the gla.s.s of liquor and shook it. He spit some saliva in it and those worms instantly dissolved and vanished, releasing an extremely alluring aroma.

"These a liquor worms that I use my own blood essence to rear. I specially took it for you to try. Yet you misunderstood me. This really breaks my heart. These liquor worms would dissolve on their own when touched by saliva."

Su Bai knitted his brows. 'That's not right, he is lying.'

Since these liquor worms were bred by his blood essence, they definitely were spiritually linked to him. If he wanted to dissolve them using saliva, it was indeed an easy job. You couldn't rule out the possibility that the other party was extravagant to the extent of using extreme means to pursue enjoyments. This probability, however, was too low.

At least the other party used this method and dissolved all the previously entangled karma.

Sofia's expression was still gloomy. She turned around and directly said: "I will report you to the higher ups."

"Heh heh. Up to you." Jaron didn't care if Sofia made a report. He took an extra glance at Su Bai. He noticed something when Su Bai used his own blood to arouse the worms to show themselves.

Sofia turned around and directly headed for the elevator. Su Bai hesitated for a moment and looked at the surroundings. This club had an attractive force towards him but remaining here definitely wasn't a wise choice. Putting aside eastern and western audiences having natural opposing sentiments, even Sofia who was one of their own was almost tricked. If he continued to stay and hoped to get any benefits, that would be taking things for granted.

When Su Bai also entered the elevator, Sofia who had been lowering her head said:

"I thought you would not leave with me."

"I thought so too." Su Bai gave a very honest reply.

Sofia took a long glance at Su Bai. "This isn't as simple as curious and interested about vampires."

"Heh heh." Su Bai chuckled.

The elevator door opened. Both of them walked out of the wine cellar.

The hobbit owner at the bar was no longer around; a female owner had taken over.

Sofia sat on her own bike. Su Bai stood beside her and hesitated for a moment.

He really did not dare to ride. This girl's emotions were obviously stirred up. There was a possibility she would accelerate and ride like a looney. Su Bai wasn't willing to accompany her to be unrestrained.

"Do not need me to send you back to the hotel?"

"There no need. I will take a taxi back."

Sofia did not object and directly left in a puff.

Su Bai touched the tip of his nose. He realized there was a note. He opened the note with his feet, there was a badge at the bottom of the note. It was the badge of this vampire club.

He kicked the badge into the sewer beside the road without any extra trouble. Su Bai placed both hands into his side pocket and started to take a stroll at Old Street.

London's Old Street is flavorsome for someone who had always lived in the eastern cultured circles. Since the little fella was under Lucky's care in the hotel, Su Bai wasn't worried. He was quite carefree and idle.

It was daytime, that's why there weren't any s*x workers visible. There were quite a few restaurants, museum as well as memorial hall workers busy distributing pamphlets.

Su Bai wandered aimlessly and took a turn up front. A church appeared.

Compared to majority of churches in Europe, it was very shabby. The comparison was like a key-focused hospital and a community clinic.

A little boy was sitting on the bench of the church entrance. The boy was wearing a pastor suit. His immature face did not match the serious clothing.

Su Bai stopped in front of the boy and realized the boy was actually blind. Su Bai was surprised that he only realized it after closing in. The boy's eyes were open before this, but they did not give off a feeling of gazing into the void. He only noticed the boy's eyes were not focused after closing in.

"Mister, do you believe in G.o.d?"

Su Bai shook his head.

After a while, he felt speechless after the boy did not reply. The boy could call him mister when he walked over but couldn't see him shake his head right now.

"I don't."

"People who don't believe in G.o.d are the most blessed." The boy made a cross sign at his chest.

Su Bai sat beside the boy and crossed his legs. He hooked his arm on the boy's shoulder and said:

"Your reply is quite unorthodox."

The boy nodded his head and replied in deadpan manner, "The church is lacking in funds."

"And then?"

"And then we need to use this method of reply to attract the tourists' attention. To generate interest in them to have a look at the church."

"Why are you so straightforward with me?" Su Bai asked.

"We need believers and donations but do not dare to let the devil enter." The boy still replied in a deadpan manner.

"I'm a devil?"

The boy did not utter a word.

"Do you know, there are devils gathered just a few roads away?"

The boy still did not utter a word.

"We all have an old saying in China, proximity to cinnabar makes you red, to pitch makes you black[1].It definitely couldn't be G.o.d to be able to be neighbors with a group of devils."

The boy continued to remain silent. He jumped down from the bench and entered the church based on his memory.

Su Bai glanced at this shabby church. He hesitated for a while but still chose to enter.

There were a few rows of chairs that were very old in the church. There was a black curtain in front. Su Bai remembered this type of detail that always appeared in western novels or movies. A pastor should be sitting inside. Someone would walk over and say in devotion:

"Father, I have sinned."

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Su Bai walked over and sat on a seat. The black curtain was right in front of him.

After remaining silent for a while, Su Bai finally opened his mouth and said:

"I'm only here in London for treatment and to relax. What's with the huge commotion?"

"What you said, is it true?"

A hoa.r.s.e voice sounded from behind the curtain.

"What do you think?"

Su Bai reached out and pulled the curtain. There was a pastor sitting inside. The pastor's back was facing Su Bai; his body seems to be aged.

"Looking exactly like who you act as, interesting." Su Bai pulled out a cigarette. He lit up the cigarette and teased. "You should have been acting in Hollywood before becoming an audience."

The pastor stood up. He whole body grew taller following his actions; his temperament also changed, becoming fierce and sharp. He turned around and faced Su Bai.

He was still wearing a mask.

Su Bai did not know if he had no time to change after that scene in the club or he actually felt the mask he wore suited his character.

Jaron took down his mask and revealed an attractive face. It was attractive as a westerner with his deep blue eyes.

Sofia who was holding a folder in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other walked in at this moment. She sat down on another bench and examined Su Bai with her gaze.

Su Bai did not touch the h.e.l.lfire Shotguns on his waist. It was meaningless to threaten them with his gun at this moment. The bullets were traded through Sofia, and it was impossible that she did not check out the details of the gun in the e-shop.

Su Bai exhaled smoke rings. His vision started to be a little blurry. He wasn't sure why this group of people would take so much trouble to repeatedly probe him when he just landed in London not too long ago. Su Bai admitted that he wasn't considered a major character and was not qualified to receive this carefully-repeated probing.

Jaron puckered his lips. He had no way of concealing his emotions after taking off the mask. Sofia's breathing also turned heavy. Many auras appeared in the surroundings, and there were many people in the ambush.

They were solemn. This solemnness gave off a hint of fear.

"What did the owner of the black cat send you over for?" Jaron slowly asked. He was afraid of agitating Su Bai.

Su Bai maintained his composure as he continued smoking.

Deep in his heart, ten thousand gra.s.s mud horses were galloping[2].

Lucky, Litchi, F*ck!

What did Litchi do when she arrived in London that time or what did she do to this area to make them to feel confronted by a formidable enemy? They actually acted to probe someone like himself who only had a task completion of two?

Silence.

Silence.

Su Bai continued to smoke.

The who scene continued to be in silence.

In the end, Su Bai gently shook off the cigarette ash and said indifferently:

"Heh heh. Do you think you're qualified to know some things?"

He silently gave himself a like.
