Chapter 4: l.u.s.t Once More [R18]

Li Rufeng did not work the past two days so he rested at home with his lovely wife. As newlyweds, he naturally wanted to keep her company but apart from mealtimes, she would stay in the study all day.

All day, he would watch her as she read.

As night fell, the city became ablaze with lights.

After her shower, Xu Mo laid down on the consort chair while her wet silky black hair draped down as water droplets dripped down.

The man's gaze fell on her as he lightly stepped into the room. He moved towards the chest of drawers and took out a handkerchief.

She opened her eyes slowly and faced him as he lifted her head on to his lap. She wanted to get up but was firmly held down.

"Princess, you will get a headache if you sleep with wet hair." Li Rufeng whispered quietly while he used internal forces* to dry her hair.

*TL-note: Also called Inner Energy, Internal Strength, Internal Power, or Internal Force. The cultivated energy within a martial artist's body. Utilizing it, a martial artist can accomplish superhuman feats of speed, agility, strength, endurance, etc… It can even be used to heal wounds and nullify poisons.

Xu Mo let him do what he wants and pouted, "I did not sleep."

The man's mouth curled, "Yes, you are not asleep."

The pampering tone is his words made the young lady blush like a red plum in the snow which made her seem even more lovable.

He swallowed and his mouth became extremely dry as he witnessed this scene. It has been a few days since that night but whenever he displayed the slightest desire, she would distance herself.

He learned later from books that a woman's first was not always pleasurable so much so that it would be very painful. Therefore, prominent families would often choose concubines who had a calm demeanour. That night, he was reckless and never even thought to look into this so it was natural she would be fearful.

But today, he can endure no longer.

When her hair was dried, Li Rufeng removed the handkerchief and left it aside then lifted her up.

"I……don't want to sleep yet." Xu Mo licked her lips and curled into a circle.

Li Rufeng walked a few steps towards the bed and laid her down, "Not sleep, we are not sleeping." The implication of those repeated words made her s.h.i.+ver non-stop.

Xu Mo understood his meaning but his burning gaze scared her. She stammered, "I don't want……" but before she could continue a finger pressed against her lips.

"Mo-er*, we are husband and wife so these things are unavoidable. I used to be able to endure but since that night it has been impossible without you. Plus, I am at my prime right now." As he spoke, his hand slowly moved towards the hem of her pink nightdress.

*TL-note: Er means child. It is often used as a diminutive marker; in a name, it is equivalent to the English '-y' or '-ie' ending such as Tommy or Jackie. In this case, it is used as a term of endearment.

At this moment, the idea that being a modern person, she had to blindly submit to others in ancient times made her feel somewhat reluctant.

As her nightdress was taken off leaving only the cheongsam covering her chest, she tried to obstruct him.  

At lightning speed, she quickly rolled went under the quilt and moved to the innermost corner of the bed while her eyes were locked on him in full defence mode.

Xu Mo knew this was not good but she was afraid! If this was the modern world, her body would be categorised as underage. Moreover, their bodies don't fit together at all. What was even worse was this seemingly calm man nearly disa.s.sembled her during those two days.

Ah! Girls are really pitiful in ancient times!

While she was absent-minded, that person crept closer and broke through her last protective barrier to whisper, "What are you afraid of."

Xu Mo panicked as she stared at his gentle expression.

Once again, she was held down underneath his body but Xu Mo already gave up resisting. The disparity of strengths between them was too great and she felt like a cat that he had just caught effortlessly.

"Please be gentle."

The man quickly made a sound then planted a kiss on her forehead.

Xu Mo's eyes glistened with tears as she hurt and felt stretched out once more. It was exceptionally taxing for her. And due to her small pelvis, that place was naturally small as well.

When Li Rufeng entered that inviting tiny honey cave, he again understood the difficulty of maintaining self-control. But he could still not bear it so he frowned and he looked down at the tiny white face. As they tossed in bed, he comforted her with his lips and kneaded her snowy fullness. When she finally relaxed, he ventured forcefully and started to move.  

Xu Mo was knocked about like spilt spring water. Without any strength in her, she could only hold on to him as they rise and fall.

"No, please no. No more……" The young lady's eyes were misty and no longer clear as she kneeled on the bed covered in a layer of light powder.

Her hips were lifted up by the man. In this position, he could clearly see his thick big thing recklessly pa.s.s through those two small delicate petals.

"You……promised……only……once." The young lady moaned in tears as the surging pa.s.sion nearly toppled her over.

The man did not stop his movements and hoa.r.s.ely said, "Rufeng lied."

That was an understatement. However, with her face pressed against the quilt, the young lady could not do anything.

Behind her, the man endlessly called out Mo-er Mo-er pa.s.sionately until his hoa.r.s.e voice was no longer clear. Who would have thought this unparalleled man would act so wild within the bedsheets without end.

As midnight fell and everything became silent. After a violent explosion, he slowly withdrew from the young lady and felt somewhat vexed as he stared at the slightly swollen flower cave.

The messy bedsheets looked even more obscene as white stuff slowly flowed out from there.

He felt his abdomen tighten again as he looked.

Li Rufeng looked down at his disappointed little man and contemplated that he naturally could not submit his wife to his beastly desires again. He picked her up and calmly walked towards the bathroom.

They slept together until very late because he did not have court today.

During meal time, one of them was all smiles while the other was distressed and slow-moving which could provoke one's pity.

Li Rufeng had wanted to embrace her in his arms but she rejected him on the basis that it was not proper to in front of the servants.

After a simple meal, Xu Mo returned to the study.

Li Rufeng looked at the vast study with resentment. Although he liked her, there were no indications that she did. In the Jing Kingdom, wives are meant to be shared therefore boys from a young age were taught that women are ruthless and they should never put too much thought in them. They were to keep them as pets and most importantly to never fall in love but who knew the heart was the one thing he could not control.

"Mo-er, it is such a lovely day today. Would you like to accompany me on a walk around Qingsi?"

The young lady stopped grinding the ink* and propped herself up against the table but the pain between her waist and legs was too much. She compared their relations.h.i.+p to her parents and felt she was indeed being too distant. This was unfair to him especially considering the current situation in the Jing Kingdom and the reputation of the royal family.

*TL-note: To do Chinese or j.a.panese calligraphy, traditionally, the first step is to grind the ink.

"Maybe another day! My royal brother has permitted the construction of a cultivation pavilion and the scenery is not bad. We can go there."

Li Rufeng smiled at her answer then walked past the table and picked her up.

Xu Mo could not walk conveniently so she let him hold her. She thought to herself, if it was not for my health and that I am a princess which only the Emperor can pressure then she surely would have died in bed already if there were a few more men like him.
