Chapter 22: First meeting

 

“Since I am here, then there is no need to rush to go.”

 

The black man obviously doesn’t want Murong Qingyan to leave. He slowly moves closer to her and looks down on her with his eyes that full of curiosity: “I’ve never seen a person like you. Aren’t you afraid that I might kill you?”

“If you really want to kill me, I won’t be standing here anymore and hear your nonsense.” The black man’s words seem threatening, but Murong Qingyan didn’t get scared of him. “But, I’m not really sure why you want me to stay. Why is it?”

From the black man’s words and action. Murong Qingyan can tell that in the eyes of this man in front of her, her life is only like an ant even though he personally doesn’t say it. However, he didn’t kill her instantly, so today she might really be able to survive.

“Ha ha ha, you could see through me.” hearing Murong Qingyan’s rude words, the black man didn’t get angry, instead he laugh: “Your life is only worth of my fingertips. However, you are right. I am not going to kill you.”

When he finished his words, the black man didn’t saw Murong Qingyan’s facial expression change, so he got more curious. After all, most people who are facing such situation should feel relieved, right? But, why he couldn’t sense the slightest relaxation on her? 

“What is your name?”

The black man’s low voice sounds very magnetic to Murong Qingyan’s ear. As if his voice is like a light that you wouldn’t be able to live without it. However, for his question, Murong Qingyan didn’t answer.

The two of them just stared at each other.

After a long time, the black man finally recovered his eyes and his lips brought back a smile: “Since you don’t want to say it, this lord will not force you. However, I believe that we will meet again in the future.”

When he finished his words, the black man waved his sleeve, then turned to leave. But, Murong Qingyan’s line of sight didn’t move away from him.

When the black man is complete gone, Murong Qingyan’s tight nerves finally could relax. That black man’s strength is immeasurable. So even if that black man doesn’t have any ill intentions, her heart still couldn’t relax.

With their meeting this time, Murong Qingyan didn’t think too much about it. In her point of view, it’s just a small fragment of her memory in this life. But, she doesn’t know that this first meeting is only just a beginning. Even though the both of them doesn’t know each other’s name.

After a while, Murong Qingyan saw Little White came back with two rabbits.

She cooks them immediately and the two of them happily enjoyed the meal.

The rabbit is so fat, so Little White’s mouth is full of oil. After eating, he touches his big fat belly and rubs them back and forth. Now, he really felt happy. He should always follow his master so he can eat meat!

After the two of them finished eating and take a break. Murong Qingyan began exercising to increase her physical strength. She was running out of time, so she must pay close attention to her training. She should restore her previous physical strength before the clan’s general a.s.sembly starts.

After all, she must win in this clan’s general a.s.sembly.
