Su Yan was dizzy and blank in the lady’s snow-white skin.

The lady in silver robe had moved forward when Su Yan came to his sense.

Su Yan got up quickly, patted away the ashes on his body, followed the lady in silver robe with a righteous face, and walked towards the ninth floor! 

“Crunch!”

The lady opened the door on the ninth floor. Su Yan was immediately shocked for this place was rich in natural essence!

Su Yan walked forward and looked at the tactical formation. It was an esoteric one that flooded with complicated formation traces. It seemed really fantastic and brilliant.

Su Yan noticed that the natural essence came from all directions was converging into this tactical formation.

“This is the Spirit-gathering Formation.”

The glamorous lady said gently, “It is the most elementary Spirit-gathering Formation. However, it has a unique effect in gathering the natural essence.”

Su Yan gasped in astonishment. What an amazing tactical formation!

Since the natural essence was connected with people’s cultivation, one could become a master if he learned how to gather the natural essence.

“Carve the Spirit-gathering Formation within ten days!”

The lady said gently, “If you fail, next time I'll change another formation. You only have three chances; if all fail, you’ll never be allowed to enter the Training PaG.o.da, or you’ll will be killed!”

Su Yan was confounded for a moment. It never occurred to him that the words uttered by such a glamorous, n.o.ble and elegant lady could carry such an august power. How come Training PaG.o.da had such a rule?

She shook her head and said, "By virtue of the first volume of the Taoist Formation you have already got and the forming structure of Spirit-gathering Formation, as long as your savvy is good enough, you can make it!"

"All right!"

Su Yan took a deep breath and sat cross-legged near the Spirit-gathering Formation with eyes closed. The tremendous momentum of the spirit burst in his mind which made a golden divine trace flickered over his forehead just like flas.h.i.+ng lightning.

Su Yan smiled. He could deduce the true meaning of the formation more quickly due to his powerful spirit. He thought that Spirit-gathering Formation was not so difficult to master that it could be carved in ten days!

"Su Yan pa.s.sed the eighth floor!"

"Unbelievable! The time he spent is less than an hour! How did Su Yan make it!"

The whole Huaxia College was completely shocked, including Liu Chengtian. That was too quickly! How strong was Su Yan's deduction ability that he pa.s.sed the eighth floor so easily!

Elder Liang was quite excited that Su Yan had already got the most powerful cultivation manual!

Jiang Wuhen was fantasizing about his glorious future and controlling Su Yan without Su Yan’s answer.

“What if Su Yan pa.s.ses the tenth floor?” Jing Yanghui asked again when he was leaving.

An indifferent emotion shone in Jiang Wuhen’s eyes, he said, “Do you think that anyone can get into the tenth floor of the Training PaG.o.da? Look at you, don’t always believe in the non-existent miracle!”

Jing Yanghui replied with a wry smile. He dared not to refuse what Jiang Wuhen had said. However, it was impossible for him to yield to Su Yan because he couldn’t even forget the disgrace of yielding to Tang Yi last time. Time went day by day.

Every day was hard for some people because they were too eager to know Su Yan's venturing achievements.

At the ninth floor of the Training PaG.o.da, Su Yan got a chill while his eyes looking at the rapidly fading formation on the ground.

He had been comprehending the Spirit-gathering Formation for three days and had tried it for several times but all failed.

Yet Su Yan wasn’t so worried about it. Though the time had only pa.s.sed three days, he had made rapid progress in mastering the Spirit-gathering Formation.

He closed his eyes and reviewed the first volume of the Taoist formation. During the three months in the wilderness region Su Yan was able to run at will the simple formation lines in the first volume of the Taoist formation 

However, the Spirit-gathering Formation was composed of more complex formation lines and patterns, and these complicated patterns were made up by the simplest lines.

In the dark s.p.a.ce of Su Yan's mind sat his faint shadow inside, with patches of formation lines flas.h.i.+ng all over his body, densely combined and interwoven in nothingness.

He was using the powerful spirit to deduce the forming structure of the Spirit-gathering Formation! 

That night, Su Yan's spirit suffered a great consumption, so he closed his eyes to recuperate.

At night, he began to perform again, and the various formation lines either coa.r.s.e or shallow were quickly combined together.

Suddenly, Su Yan recalled the inheritance in the black ore that he had opened to observe more than once during his a.s.siduous cultivation in the wilderness area.

Although the inheritance in the black ore was too grand for him to fully digest, it gave Su Yan great inspiration in learning formations.

Su Yan smiled and quickly found the reasons why he had failed so many times.

The ceaseless natural essence converged rapidly at lightning speed into the Spirit-gathering Formation Su Yan completed.

“What a formidable Spirit-gathering Formation!”

Su Yan had a big smile on his face. It was enough for him to live well in Huaxia Alliance by the ability to carve such a strong formation.

He stared at and observed the Spirit-gathering Formation he composed carefully. About an hour later, the natural essence inside it was nearly full. He walked inside the formation and found there was nearly twice of the natural essence as that outside it 

“The essence almost doubled. If I carve the Spirit-gathering Formation in the Treasure Cave, the effect will be even stronger!”

“However, Spirit-gathering Formation of the lowest level should not be able to withstand the impact of the strong energy of the Treasure Cave!”

Su Yan took a look at the Spirit-gathering Formation on the ninth floor and found it was more powerful than that in the eighth floor!

“This is the first time I inscribe it. With adequate experience, definitely it will be stronger next time!”

Su Yan had to admit that the Taoist formation was really extensive and profound. The woman in a silver robe said it was just the simplest Spirit-gathering Formation. How strong the most profound formation would be?
