Chapter 483 - G.o.dly Sword and the West Barren Imperial Court

“Don't jinx it,” Zhong Yue shook his head and said.

“Don't jinx!” The little Xuan Yuan instantly learned from Zhong Yue and said the same to the little flame.

Xin Huo leaped onto Xuan Yuan's nose and said angrily, “You little baby who wears a bear's hide!”

The little Xuan Yuan was exactly wearing Shao Dian's bear skin. He was rolling his pitch black pupils and staring at the little flame that stood on his nose. A pair of chubby hands then tried to catch the little flame, but Xin Huo had already leaped back to Zhong Yue's shoulder.

Xin Huo was laughing proudly as he said, “You think you can catch me? Little baby!”

Little Xuan Yuan then started crawling around Zhong Yue's body to catch the little flame. Xin Huo was hiding here and there and the two of them started playing around Zhong Yue's body.

Zhong Yue had a brawny body, he was ten feet tall, and it was interesting to see a little child crawling up and down his body. Although Xuan Yuan was still one and a half years old, he had great strength, able to hold tight on Zhong Yue's clothes as he moved around.

Zhong Yue walked into the golden summit and opened the path that would send them directly to the side of the G.o.dly sword's sword hilt.

It was huge, the sword hilt alone was two miles in radius and the blade was five miles wide.

This G.o.dly sword was still quiet as before. It never moved, it had been here since forever, and the only thing that proved that it wasn't part of the mountain was its color and the totem patterns that intermittently flowed across its body.

Zhong Yue brought Xuan Yuan to the side of the sword hilt, he looked at the G.o.dly sword in puzzlement. The sword was too huge; even Zhong Yue couldn't have possibly heldonto it, let alone little Xuan Yuan?

Suddenly, the tranquil sword glimmered brightly. Totem patterns emerged on the sword surface and the whole mountain started to shake along with the s.h.i.+vering sword!

Krong——

Crack——

Boom——

Various sounds came within the mountain body, the seals and totem patterns left by the headmasters in the mountain was shattered and broken away. Immediately, huge clumps of rocks started to crumble into dusts!

“s.h.i.+t! Was Xin Huo actually right this time?”

Zhong Yue felt his scalp tingling, if the Swords Gate Mountain crumbled, he didn't even want to imagine what Jun Sixia and Shui Zian would do to him!

“Xuan Yuan, lay down on the sword!” Zhong Yue leaped up to the top of the sword hilt and placed the little boy down to the sword hilt. He said anxiously, “Stay calm, stay calm. Don't move, alright?”

Little Xuan Yuan listened to him and laid unmoving on the sword hilt. He winked his onyx eyes at Zhong Yue, and a second later, the G.o.dly sword finally calmed down. But more totem patterns were still emerging on the sword surface. Chants of wors.h.i.+p came sounding within the sword and was growing louder as well!

Suddenly, little Xuan Yuan moved.

After all, he was just a child, it was impossible for him to stay still for too long. But as he moved, the G.o.dly sword moved in synchronization as well.

Chi——

The G.o.dly sword sliced into the mountain body at an oblique angle and nearly sliced the mountain in half!

Cold sweat immediately burst out from Zhong Yue's forehead and soaked his clothes, he quickly shouted, “Don't move! Just don't move! Don't think about anything either!”

Little Xuan Yuan stopped moving as well. As soon as he moved back and stayed quiet, the gold sword returned to its usual position and stopped moving as well. Zhong Yue heaved a breath of relief and whispered, “This is a G.o.dly sword given to little Xuan Yuan from Human Sovereign, it will connect to little Xuan Yuan when he comes to it. Then, the sword will do whatever he desires … If that's the case, then we can actually take the sword out from the mountain…”

Rays flashed across Zhong Yue's eyes and he said softly, “Little Xuan Yuan. Now, close your eyes and imagine with me. We are flying, flying above the ground and flying into the sky. But we don't want to go too fast, we want it to be slow and steady, to move slowly and steadily…”

Meanwhile, the whole of Swords Gate was plunged into utter chaos. When the G.o.dly sword moved, the Swords Gate Mountain trembled with it as well. With the G.o.dly sword accidentally slicing the mountain body, the saint mountain was nearly broken into halves. The palaces, buildings and every other structure all swayed violently. This shocked all of the Qi Pract.i.tioners and even those who were in the closed door training had to stop and come out to see what was wrong.

The Swords Gate now was unlike before. The number of human Qi Pract.i.tioners was a few times more than what they used to have, numbering in over ten thousand Qi Pract.i.tioners. When they all flew up into the sky, they looked like patches of clouds in the sky.

“Headmaster Jun!” The elders saw Jun Sixie and they flew over.

Their faces were pallid and some of them were even s.h.i.+vering in fear. Granny Tao then said in a quivering voice, “Headmaster, what is happening underneath Swords Gate Mountain?”

Elder Lei Shan shouted, “Is the Devil soul Forbidden Land erupting again? That's why the Swords Gate Mountain is trembling?”

“But the time isn't right!”

“Senior Martial Brother Feng Shouzhu and Hall Master Tang has already cleansed the Devil Soul Forbidden Land, it shouldn't be erupting so soon!”

Jun Sixie frowned, she shook her head and said, “No, it's not the Devil Soul Forbidden Land, it's…”

Suddenly, Shui Zian flew toward them, his face was dark and gloomy and was contorted in anger. Jun Sixie asked, “Grand elder, what happened? Where is Junior Martial Brother Zhong?”

Shui Zian shook his head and said, “I don't know! I was in closed door training, that brat gave me a divine herb and promised me that he wouldn't stir any troubles. He said that I can rest a.s.sured to leave Swords Gate in his hands…”

“Anyone of you seen Hall Master Zhong? Junior Martial Brother Zhong?” Jun Sixie immediately shouted out loud and asked.

Without doubt, the Qi Pract.i.tioners around have all shook their heads. Sounds of creaking then came from Jun Sixie as she was grinding her teeth. She looked at the Swords Gate Mountain as it was still trembling and cracks started to emerge on the mountain body.

Kacha——

A 10,000 feet huge rock detached from the mountain body and crashed into a valley, quaking the earth and shuddering the clouds.

Jun Sixie's scalps tingled up, she shouted, “People, protect the Swords Gate Mountain together with me!”

The over 10,000 Qi Pract.i.tioners immediately surged out their arcane energy and various totem patterns swarmed toward the mountain. Jun Sixie, Shui Zian, Fang Jiange and the other experts had also cast out their True Spirit, guarding over the Swords Gate Mountain and prevent it from crumbling.

Suddenly, another loud boom came within the Swords Gate Mountain. The many Qi Pract.i.tioners were struck by the impact force, and they were all sent out flying back with blood spurting out from their mouths. Although there were many Swords Gate Qi Pract.i.tioners and their consolidated prowess was truly strong, how could they fight with the sword inside Swords Gate Mountain?

They all held the mountain together, and through the mountain rocks, the sword's power struck them indirectly!

Thankfully, the G.o.dly sword never wanted to hurt anyone, it was only casually shaking during its way up into the sky; or otherwise, countless would die in just that one strike!

“This Zhong Yue!!”

Jun Sixie's anger bubbled over to the point that she began to laugh, “I knew he wouldn't stop causing trouble! This must be him!”

“Headmaster, calm down, calm down. Maybe, it's not Hall Master Zhong?” Shui Zian appeased.

“Headmaster, don't get so angry first. I believe senior martial brother is not this kind of person.” Qiu Jin'er also said.

Instantly, Jun Sixie glared fiercely at them as she said, “It'd be the greatest shock of my life if this isn't him! Other than him, who else can do this? Can I? Can you?”

Suddenly, Fu Bao flew over, she said, “Headmaster, Hall Master Zhong just brought my son into the mountain! Will Xuan Yuan be alright?”

Just as Jun Sixie was going to answer her, another loud cracking sound came blasting in their ears. It was another huge piece of the mountain crumbling down to the ground.

Jun Sixie's scalp tingled, and her hairs bristled up, she immediately shouted, “People, let us awaken the G.o.dly spirit and sword spirit; we shall protect Swords Gate Mountain together!”

The Qi Pract.i.tioners all bowed at the golden summit on the top of Swords Gate Mountain, they were wors.h.i.+pping the G.o.dly spirit and sword spirit. Then, G.o.dly rays could be seen s.h.i.+ning above the mountain and the two Swords Gate spirits were awakened.

But right in the next second, the Qi Pract.i.tioners were all stunned on the ground. Right in the eyes of the disciples, the spirit of Swords Gate's first headmaster bolted out from the golden summit as though it met with something terrifying.

This G.o.dly spirit was supposed to protect the golden summit, but immediately after it was awakened, it fled. It felt like there was something coming out from Swords Gate Mountain that even the G.o.dly spirit wanted to avoid getting close to.

Meanwhile, the Four Ken Beast on the top of golden summit let out a shrill cry, it leaped down from the golden summit and flashed out into the sky.

On the far side, the Shen Dragon saw it as well, it was crying in fear and also escaped away.

The Qi Pract.i.tioners weer all shocked. Then, they heard another loud blast as the golden summit was shattered.

In the face of every Swords Gate Qi Pract.i.tioners, the hall masters, the elders, the G.o.dly spirit and the headmaster, the golden summit has shattered into pieces!

As soon as the golden summit was shattered, the mountain rocks beneath it crumbled as well. Countless palaces and buildings were crushed away.

Jun Sixie, Shui Zian and the others were s.h.i.+vering in anger, their faces were dark and gloomy, their fists were clenched tight and their veins were bursting out from the foreheads.

Then, Zhong Yue could be seen hovering up from the rift where the golden summit has shattered. He was saying, “Slowly, slowly. No hurry, no rush, do it slow and steadily. Just slowly fly up into the sky…”

Soon, little Xuan Yuan's chubby face appeared from the rift and Fu Bao immediately flew over. But right in the next second, she stopped as she saw her son was in fact, on the top of a sword hilt of two miles in radius!

Zhong Yue and little Xuan Yuan were both on the top of that sword hilt, and that sword hilt was what caused the golden summit to shatter!

Jun Sixie and the others were stunned, they stared blankly at the rising sword as it slowly fly up into the sky. Taller, longer and wider!

The G.o.dly sword had a blade that was five miles wide, its length was now already over 60 feet long and was still rising. Its sword hilt had already entered the Pure Yang lightning zone!

Immediately, the Pure Yang lightning struck down at Zhong Yue and Xuan Yuan. However, before they could even get close enough to the two, the G.o.dly sword's aura already cleared lightning away. Not even a single Pure Yang lightning could get near it!

Finally, when the G.o.dly sword fully flew out from the Swords Gate Mountain, Zhong Yue and little Xuan Yuan had already disappeared in the clouds.

Jun Sixie and the others were all stunned, their minds were entangled with complicated thoughts as they stared vacantly at the huge sword. They were all speechless and completely lost of words.

While on the sword hilt, Zhong Yue was also vexed, the sword was way too big, way too huge to be kept.

Furthermore, this sword was a gift from the Human Sovereign to Xuan Yuan, it was also a killing blow to the Bi Xie Celestial Race. If the G.o.dly sword met with its master now, why was it still unmoving?

“Little Xuan Yuan, can you lift this sword?” Zhong Yue winked at the little boy and asked.

Little Xuan Yuan instantly stood up, he was babbling words even Zhong Yue couldn't understand. But the G.o.dly sword did move, it flew up into the sky and slashed down at the West Barren!

Krong————

The emperor tomb in the West Barren then broke open and revealed the grandiose imperial court underneath it.

But even the grandiose imperial court was slashed into half by the G.o.dly sword!

The G.o.dly sword above Swords Gate suddenly turned into a ray of sword light and flashed toward the West Barren imperial court!
