Chapter 585 - Indomitable!

“Make me surrender?”

Wei Xue G.o.d's laughter came from all directions as the blood ocean continued surging, overwhelming the skies and cras.h.i.+ng toward Zhong Yue. Meanwhile, Zhong Yue and s.h.i.+ Buyi were separated; Zhong Yue was isolated at the bottom of the ocean while s.h.i.+ Buyi was on top, preventing them from teaming up.

And a strange thing suddenly occurred; another Wei Xue G.o.d appeared in front of Zhong Yue. He was standing on the blood ocean upside down like a bat while another Wei Xue G.o.d stood above the blood ocean, fighting with s.h.i.+ Buyi!

“Zhong Yue, you are just a puny human! A little True Spirit level Qi Pract.i.tioner, how dare you ask a G.o.d to surrender? You are a joke!”

The two Wei Xue G.o.ds looked exactly the same and they attacked at the same time, both with different moves and techniques.

Although Wei Xue G.o.d's attacks were weak, they were unpredictable. He was able to void s.h.i.+ft through s.p.a.ce to attack both Zhong Yue and s.h.i.+ Buyi at the same time, perfectly displayed the power of a G.o.d of the Gui Shen Celestial Race!

In his panic, Wei Xue G.o.d attacked Zhong Yue with all he had and the Wei Xue G.o.d that was fighting s.h.i.+ Buyi also turned back and dashed towards Zhong Yue.

Zhong Yue laughed and dodged them while he continued sucking the blood ocean dry with the lamp, turning the blood ocean into a blood lake and then a pool.

With the volume of the blood ocean decreased, the two Wei Xue G.o.ds no longer had enough s.p.a.ce to stand, and they had to squeeze together on the remaining blood ocean.

What was strange was that as the amount of the blood in the blood ocean decreased, their strength also decreased.

And the blood on their body also got thinner, their body turned transparent as if the blood on their body flowed back into the blood ocean.

“I didn't kill him, the real Wei Xue G.o.d was the blood ocean.”

Zhong Yue shook the lantern on his hand, kept it back into his Yuan Shen Secret Realm and said, “This blood ocean is also his divine weapon, but he forged his body into the divine weapon, merging it with the blood ocean. Thus, the blood ocean is him, and the divine weapon is also him. This is probably a technique of the Gui Shen Celestial Race. A Wei Xue G.o.d will emerge from the blood ocean if he wants to, killing that Wei Xue G.o.d will not work. s.h.i.+ Buyi took over the leaves, quickly consuming them and started treated his injuries. As he treated himself, he couldn't help but feel grateful towards Zhong Yue for not only saving him from Wei Xue G.o.d, but also giving him medicines to heal.

I was just repaying your debt by guarding Swords Gate, but I never thought you could come back alive. Besides, the demon G.o.d was injured badly so there was actually no need for me.”

Wei Xue G.o.d did indeed sentence you to death when he forced you to go to the insect race, but you didn't die in the end, did you? Is there a need for all of this? Zhong Yue smiled and replied, “Senior Jiumu, when you advised them to not to force me into a corner like that as well, did they listen to you?”

Zhu Jiumu was at a loss for words, but he soon sighed in understanding and replied, “Little Zhong Yue, I know you are a smart person. With you present, humanity will triumph as a great race on par with the celestial and demon races. As long as you are still here, the humans will remain strong. However, what do you think will happen if you insist on killing Wei Xue G.o.d now? How will the other races think?”

Zhong Yue's heart tigthened upon hearing Zhu Jiumu's words as the latter continued saying, “They will think that once you grow strong enough, you will not spare the other races. You may even inadvertently force them to create an alliance to eliminate you! Far away, a mighty voice echoed out and said, “Zhong Yue, your bravery and talent is no weaker to the Swords G.o.d from back then. I have to say that you have my deepest respect. With that being said, I will wait for you at the Divine Battlefield!”
