Zhong Yue looked towards the array of large stone tablets and he s.h.i.+vered, After the death of the beast G.o.d, its psyche did not disperse, instead, its psyche remained here to supply power to the array. When the array was triggered just now, seven G.o.ds appeared and devoured the buck to death, and this is only the most rudimentary Seven Slaughtering array! He then thought in his heart, If such an explosion occurred, it must be as terrifying as a herculean natural disaster and this entire Beast G.o.d Ridge would be erased completely. Perhaps, only those who want to see the whole world burn will hope for such explosion occur?

“Brat Yue, if this huge array exploded, it must be a spectacular scene! Let’s see if we could dig out that high platform that sank here to complete this large slaughtering array!” said the excited Xin Huo.

Yep, I have been influenced by him, thought Zhong Yue.

Xin Huo continued deciphering the formula of the array and he murmured something while guiding Zhong Yue. With the guidance of Xin Huo, they slowly walked deeper and deeper into the array.

“Why are there totem carvings on this stone tablet?”

Zhong Yue asked curiously as he suddenly saw a stone tablet with fresh blood stains and peculiar totem carvings.

The other stone tablets remained clean and totem carvings would only appear if someone triggered the array. The totem carvings would then automatically disappear after the intruders that triggered the array have died.

The totem carvings on this stone tablet are definitely not the seal of the Beast G.o.d. It must be someone else’s doing, could it be the teacher of that buck just now? That monster Qi Pract.i.tioner?

Zhong Yue then thought, Is he thinking of leaving these totem carvings here to breach the seals and suppress the totem of the Seven Slaughtering Array?

He examined those totem carvings carefully and discovered that these carvings were very complicated. The pattern of these carvings were completely different as compared to the carvings from Swords Gate. The totem carvings from Swords Gate were advocated by the nature, the techniques he learned from Swords Gate up until now were all conceived from the image of the mother nature.

But these totem carvings from the monster race had an immense killing intent concealed within it, especially when they were created with blood in order to augment its power! 

This is human blood!

Zhong Yue smelled the blood and his face turned incredibly cold. The blood used to create the totem carvings was human blood, what was even worse was that it was the blood of children!

Are we humans really that puny outside of the wilderness? Xin Huo said humans are the descendants of the f.u.xi, so why did we devolve to such a state ?

He recollected his thoughts and walked towards the centre of the array under Xin Huo’s guidance. Not long after, he saw a thick miasma formed by an immensely monstrous Qi.

Within the miasma, a huge figure formed with flowing blood could be seen wriggling faintly.

Is that the monster Qi Pract.i.tioner?

Just as he had this thought come up in his mind, the miasma suddenly moved rapidly and the huge body figure in the miasma turned around. Zhong Yue then saw a huge red eye staring at him!

Suddenly, a huge wave of nausea struck Zhong Yue and a huge blood eye with the radius of a few mus appeared floating in his psyche ocean staring at him!

As the blood eye stared at him, he could feel all of his blood start rus.h.i.+ng into his head and psyche ocean, waiting for the blood eye to devour them.

Such a creepy attack, did that monster Qi Pract.i.tioner launch his attack already? Who gave him the guts to attack me in my own psyche ocean?

Zhong Yue m.u.f.fled a sneer and visualized the Sui Sovereign in his psyche ocean. As the Sui Sovereign slowly formed in his psyche ocean, the seawater in his psyche ocean became violent and thunder started rampaging!

Where the thunder and lightning struck, nothing could obstruct their path, where their powers plowed into, nothing would remain intact!

As the Sui Sovereign materialized, he was like a G.o.dly emperor in his imperial court, striking fear into all devils!

The huge blood eye floating in this psyche ocean immediately got burnt and disintegrated into pure psyche. The pure psyche rained down all over Zhong Yue’s psyche ocean, increasing his psyche capacity by almost a fold!

Consuming this blood eye is equivalent to almost a hundred Yuling Pellets!

Zhong Yue was very surprised and happy about it and a m.u.f.fled groan came out from the miasma. After the miasma dispersed, the G.o.ds hiding inside also disappeared and a voice could be heard saying coldly, “Qi Pract.i.tioner of Swords Gate? Oh my, you are a very young Qi Pract.i.tioner. If I captured you and sold you to the slave traders outside of the Great Wilderness, I might be rewarded richly! I a.s.sume my three disciples are now gone since you are here?”

Qi Pract.i.tioner? Did he mistaken me as a Qi Pract.i.tioner? Did he not realize that I am not even a Qi Pract.i.tioner?

Zhong Yue felt confused by the question but little did he know that as he managed to dissolve and absorb the blood eye in his psyche ocean, his incredible psyche capacity and strength appeared equally strong as a Qi Pract.i.tioner’s even though it did not bring much harm to that monster Qi Pract.i.tioner!

But what the monster Qi Pract.i.tioner did not know was that even though the toughness and power of Zhong Yue’s psyche was indeed at the level of a Qi Pract.i.tioner, his psyche prowess was still weak as his psyche ocean was only five hundreds mus big. 

The monster Qi Pract.i.tioner tried to probe Zhong Yue’s true strength but was destined to fail as he acted recklessly.

“Are the buck, the serpent and the bear your disciples?”

Zhong Yue laughed and said fearlessly, “I killed two of them and the last one got himself killed by recklessly running into this array. My dear monster brother, you have my sincerest condolences.”

“Hahaha, they deserved it since they are not compet.i.tive enough. You, however, must die because you killed my disciples!”

The monster Qi Pract.i.tioner then said maliciously, “You may be a Qi Pract.i.tioner but your capabilities are weaker than mine. Besides, I am a monster, the same race as the Beast G.o.d – in this seal created by him, I could easily kill you with this array! Brat….”

Zhong Yue started walking and before the Qi Pract.i.tioner could finish his spiel, Zhong Yue had managed to walk very close to him as easily as if the array was the garden in his courtyard.

As Zhong Yue turned back to look at the monster Qi Pract.i.tioner, he saw that the Qi Pract.i.tioner appeared to be very tall and thin. He looked almost exactly like any normal human being with the exception of his scaly skins. Zhong Yue wondered which race of monster he belonged to.

Carried on the back of the monster Qi Pract.i.tioner was a huge gourd and blood could be seen flowing inside and outside of the gourd. However, the blood flowing outside of the gourd all contained the souls of children in them!

The blood in the gourd was the blood of these children, how many children had been killed in order to fill up the huge gourd with children blood to the point of overflowing!

The Qi Pract.i.tioner received a scare when he saw Zhong Yue get past the array easily and he thought, Could it be he is actually a very strong person in the guise of a puny disciple? If not, how could he be so familiar with this array and enter it so easily… Wait a minute!”

As Zhong Yue walked closer, the monster Qi Pract.i.tioner immediately discovered Zhong Yue’s true strength!

A little human brat that had not even manifested his own spirit!

He looked blankly at Zhong Yue and said shockingly, “You are not even a Qi Pract.i.tioner from the Swords Gate! How is it possible for you to master the seal of the Beast G.o.d and reach so deep into this array?”

The Qi Pract.i.tioner then felt extremely happy after that and said, “Hahaha, a brat that is still not a Qi Pract.i.tioner but has the psyche that is not any weaker than Qi Pract.i.tioner! Such good quality! If I captured you, you could be sold at an even higher price than a Qi Pract.i.tioner! Stay here with me brat! b.l.o.o.d.y Gourd, go!”

The blood in the gourd gushed out and formed a huge sanguine hand before it lunged towards Zhong Yue!

“Brat Yue, walk to your left by three steps and jump forward by sixteen feet.” said Xin Huo.

Zhong Yue followed verbatim and landed accurately into this Seven Slaughtering array whereas the b.l.o.o.d.y hand had already closed in to the back of Zhong Yue.

At that moment, rapid changes occurred at the stone tablets in the Seven Slaughtering Array. Blood started flowing out of the tablets and trickled all the way down towards the totem carvings, the Seven Slaughtering Array had been initiated!

Xin Huo then said slow and steady, “Step forward by another step.”

Zhong Yue immediately walked forward and got out of the Seven Slaughtering Array while at the same time, the b.l.o.o.d.y red hand that almost hit Zhong Yue was crushed into blood mist by the immense power unleashed by the seven G.o.ds formed by the Beast G.o.d’s remaining psyche!

“Xin Huo, what will happen if I attacked this array from the outside?” Zhong Yue turned back and asked as he realized he had walked out of the coverage of those forty-nine stone tablets.

Xin Huo laughed and replied, “You will then activate that intermediate slaughtering array. Why? Do you also have the desire to wreak havoc and the urge to witness the strength of an intermediate slaughtering array?”

“I really do want to!”

Zhong Yue shouted and a Jiao Dragon formed his psyche charged into the array towards the seven G.o.ds!

The monster Qi Pract.i.tioner snapped and he quickly escaped towards to outside. The seven G.o.ds combined together and transformed into a huge demon monster with seven heads, fourteen arms and legs. It’s power increased drastically and the Jiao Dragon formed by Zhong Yue’s psyche evaporated before it could even get close!

At the same time, the other forty-eight array initiated as well. One after another, stone tablets started dripping blood and an uncountable number of G.o.ds appeared while letting out deafening shouts!

With the initiation of this huge array, the G.o.ds combined together, causing a surge in their strength and they rampaged in the array, crus.h.i.+ng and smas.h.i.+ng everything in sight!

Zhong Yue stood outside of the array and observed as the Qi Pract.i.tioner could only let out a shriek before being torn into pieces and devoured by the forty-nine G.o.ds!

Then, the forty-nine G.o.ds combined into one huge G.o.d that stood so high into the skies and let out a roar that shook away the clouds!

This, was the true power of the intermediate slaughtering array!

Such dominating power.

Zhong Yue shook his head and walked back before saying, “The Great Wilderness is not a place for monsters. Too bad, you realized it too late.”
