Chapter 26 - Dependency

Yu Tang looked at that pair of man and woman, then lightly nodded, “Here to see my father?”

This man was his uncle three times removed, belonging to a side branch of the Yu family, called Yu Dan. Originally, he had opened an entertainment company in B city, which could be considered to be a little famous. Later, he somehow got involved with the main family, then moved his entire company to A city.

“Ah, no, today I’ve come to chat with the madam, your uncle came to pick me up,” the woman by his side was Yu Dan’s wife. Seeing her husband open his mouth, she promptly elbowed him, and smilingly explained, “My family’s naughty son played very affectionately with Miaomiao and hated to part with her, the two of us are so worried ne.”

Yu Tang had naturally seen these two’s little movements, and their purpose was obvious in a glance. They didn’t see his father and wanted to find a chance to stay behind for dinner.

However, as a high school student, Yu Tang didn’t need to know so much, so he only nodded in acknowledgement again, then walked inside.

The husband and wife looked at Yu Tang’s tall and straight back, and simultaneously sighed in relief. For some reason, facing this eldest young master was even more nerve-wracking than facing his father. That sort of n.o.ble aura from deep in his bones, made people subconsciously lower themselves.

After asking for Yu Miao’s location from the housekeeper, Yu Tang detoured to the little garden behind the house.

To set up a good relations.h.i.+p with the main family, this pair of husband and wife ran over here every month, and had even brought that ten year old son, saying that it was to accompany Yu Miao in playing.

“I’ve warned you before, you can’t touch my skirt!” Today, Yu Miao was wearing a sea blue princess dress with fragmented gemstones on it. From afar, she looked like a little mermaid from the sea.

“Hehehe…” The boy who was warned smiled mischievously and retracted his hand, then took advantage of when Yu Miao had turned around to suddenly lift her skirt.

“Ah—” Yu Miao cried out in fear, and because his strength was too much, he had flipped it over her head, exposing the pink shorts under her skirt.

A seven year old little girl was already very clear on the awareness of distinction between gender, much less Yu Miao, who had received a lady’s education since young.

Yu Miao immediately pulled down her skirt, but the delicate gemstone hair-clip on her head was stuck. Her beautiful little face wrinkled, and when she lifted her head to see her brother who was walking over, she promptly started crying, “Wu…”

Because of the problem of his point of view, that little boy hadn’t seen Yu Tang who was quickly walking over. He picked up the hair-clip and proudly waved it in front of Yu Miao, then turned to run, “It’s mine lou!”

Just as he turned his body, he knocked against a st.u.r.dy ‘wall’, and fell to the ground with an ‘aiyo’.

Yu Tang towered above him as he looked at that brat, bent his waist, seized the hair-clip, directly walked over to his little sister who was crying, and carried up the aggrieved little Miaomiao, returning the hair-clip to her.

Yu Miao stopped crying after she was picked up by her brother, rubbed her eyelashes which were wet with tears, then laid on her brother’s shoulder.

After placating his sister, Yu Tang then turned around to shoot a glance at the main offender.

The boy was a little afraid of Yu Tang, but he also didn’t want to lose, so he snorted and said, “Crybaby, didn’t I just take a look at the colour of your underwear?”

Yu Tang’s gaze instantly became fierce, scaring that boy into retreating a step.

“Take off his pants and hang on the tree, let everyone see the colour of his underwear,” Yu Tang coldly left a command, and turned to go upstairs while carrying his sister.

The servants in the garden looked at each other in dismay. The matter of taking off a guest’s pants, how do they do this?

However, without needing them to do anything, Dugu An had already completed it.

“Waa—” A loud and clear crying sound quickly spread out from within the garden.

“Th, that, young master An…” the maid responsible for attending the children anxiously looked at the bare-b.u.t.t boy sitting on the tree branch, “Eldest young master’s meaning…”

“You all don’t have to worry,” Dugu An left an ice-cold sentence, then turned to leave.

“No, it’s not…” the maid felt like weeping without tears as she watched Dugu An’s confident and satisfied back. Eldest young master’s meaning was, take off his pants and hang it on the tree, not hang the person on the tree ah!

Ignoring the chaos in the garden, Yu Tang carried his obedient little sister to the second floor’s playroom and sat down on the soft padded floor.

“If you don’t want to play with him, then stay far away from him,” Yu Tang took the warm towel pa.s.sed over by the maid and wiped his sister’s face, then indicated for them to leave.

Yu Miao looked around at the empty room that only had her and her brother, then curled her lip. “But mother told me to play with him.”

“No one is allowed to force you to be together with a person you don’t like,” Yu Tang said with a heavy face. “If you don’t like it then say no, you’re more awesome than them, then they can’t force you.”

The Anyuan princess in the last life, because she was too obedient and thoughtful, was bullied by people everywhere, finally leading to that ending.

Large eyes similar to a Western doll looked at her brother in adoration, and forcefully nodded her head.

Song Xiao hadn’t followed that person’s words and noted down his phone number, since he was obviously provoking him. But how that person knew his phone number needed to be investigated.

This phone was bought for him by Song Zicheng after he left the hospital, and the phone number was also new, so the people who knew it weren’t many. Furthermore, for Dari Media to be so arrogant was definitely because they knew some information. It was essential for him to discuss with Song Zicheng.

However, the quarreling sounds from downstairs was still continuing. Song Xiao noiselessly sighed. His home was not peaceful, so outside affairs could not be handled timely, naturally it was hard to prosper.

Right at this time, his phone rang. He picked it up, and saw the name ‘Emperor’. Song Xiao’s mood couldn’t help lightening, his expression also softening a lot more as he pressed down on the answer b.u.t.ton.

Gege, you’re now a chef, take this veggie!” From the phone came the crisp and melodious voice of a little girl.

Yu Tang received the plastic cabbage handed over to him by his sister, and s.h.i.+fted the handphone over to Yu Miao, who was fiddling with her toys, and turned on the speaker mode, “Miaomiao, call saozi.”

“Oh? Saozi…” Yu Miao ignorantly called out, then continued to busy herself with putting on clothes on Barbie.

“Did you hear it?” Yu Tang moved the phone over, his voice as steady as before.

Cough, that’s…” Song Xiao was somewhat taken by surprise.

“My sister,” Yu Tang held the plastic cabbage, stood up and walked to the side of the window, “Looks exactly like when Anyuan was small.”

The two of them simultaneously fell silent.

Naturally, Song Xiao recognised the princess of Anyuan. On the year when the Jingyuan Emperor first went for a military campaign at the northern borders, he had high-spiritedly say that he was going to pick up his little sister. In the end, he only brought back yellow sand in his hands.

Zhen, went too late…” Yu Jintang, who was wearing black imperial robes with gold embroidery, pulled him to the imperial garden to drink. Until today, Song Xiao still remembered, the monarch’s eyes, perhaps because of the smell of the alcohol, turned red, filled with remorse and grief.

“That’s great,” Song Xiao softly said, with a bit of a smiling expression.

“En,” Yu Tang also followed to smile, like a child showing off his toy, “I’ll bring you to meet her another day.”

They chatted for a while, and when they were about to hang up, Song Xiao hesitated for a moment, then said, “Your Majesty, this servant still has another matter to present.”

Yu Tang paused for a moment, “Speak.”

“Do you know Dari Media?” Song Xiao was used to presenting all major events to the emperor, furthermore, nowadays in the modern era, he unconsciously was somewhat dependent on him, and very quickly repeated the strange phone call to Yu Tang without missing a word.

“You don’t have to mind him,” Yu Tang coldly looked at the pair of husband and wife in the garden, helping their son wear pants. “I’ll settle this.”

“Okay,” Song Xiao didn’t ask how Yu Tang was going to do it either, in any case, the emperor said he would settle it, so he definitely could handle it well.
