w.a.n.g Zheng’s entire body shook as if a rag doll was tossed to the ground. Blood poured out from his mouth like spring water. Only the outer layer of the Skeleton mech was complete, and even though this was able to block most of the incoming impact, he could not resist the remaining force. His reinforced bones were broken, his ribs pierced his lungs, his spleen was bleeding out, he was losing consciousness…

Darkness…

Endless darkness…

He wanted to move, but he was too tired. He wanted to open his eyes, but he felt sleepy.

He was tired and wondered if he was dreaming.

“Miss, this is not possible. He should already be dead…”

A voice pierced his ears, causing him to be alert and sensitive.

He should have been dead…

“There is brain wave activity. Can he still hear?” This was a female voice, which was nice and soothing.

“This should be the natural reaction of the brain towards sound and not a sign of consciousness. This is not good, his body is rejecting the repair robot and has surpa.s.sed the load line. We need 100 CCs of sedative number 9.”

Darkness resurfaced like the tide and engulfed the light that had just formed. The feeling of distress drowned his consciousness.

He heard a few footsteps leave the room. After the soft sound of the closing door, he could not hear anything else aside from the sound made by the medical equipment.

Quiet…

He could not move physically, but his mind was racing.

Aina’s smile crossed his mind like a shooting star. Short, yet beautiful.

His mind kept replaying scenes from the explosion of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p.

Why was he the only one on the whole transport plane? Why did the two drivers lock themselves in the control room?

It was obvious that the fighter plane that attacked the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p he was on intended to take him out.

The whole room was shaking. The instruments monitoring his brain waves did not move, but the equipment on the table beside him started flying in the air.

There were many people who had treated him as an enemy. However, these people were proud and would get over a defeat and regain their confidence in no time. These people believed that they could eventually be the best in the world.

If everyone were to employ such tactics when they faced a small obstacle, even geniuses would become useless in the huge Milky Way.

Aside from them, who else wanted him to permanently disappear from this world?

Thankfully, Aslan’s reaction was not too huge and they only requested for the separation of both parties and not allowing them to meet. To accomplish this, the Princess was sent to Atlantis for her studies on paper. In reality, it was equivalent to grounding her. The military was also thick-skinned in its attempt to please Aslan. Fortunately, Meng Ao fought for him and w.a.n.g Zheng ended up being sent to t.i.tat.i.tan for two years. Although it was unique there, it could prove to be a good thing for w.a.n.g Zheng. They would not be so heartless as to allow a talent to be degraded. Regarding the others, w.a.n.g Zheng had to overcome his own psychological barrier as the world was divided into cla.s.ses.

“w.a.n.g Zheng’s treatment is indeed different. There are even special s.h.i.+ps for him.”

“Look at who he is. He is our king, and he is the best.” Zhang Shan laughed. Everyone was allocated separate tasks, and Zhang Shan was to follow the Solar System Federal Fleet for two years. He was elated when thinking of the beautiful female military officers in uniforms.
