The Doomed And Blessed, 13th Young Miss Chapter 16

CHAPTER 16

Since I cultivate upon the ‘Bending s.p.a.ce’ meditation, I used that to make my skin provide s.p.a.ce for other things. I’m sure it would be really disgusting to many people, but I’ve gotten used to it.

Since I can make things go closer and further away, I stretch my skin molecules and then release it. Since skin is naturally like elastic, it would bounce back.

I knew that I needed to find another way, sooner, rather than later, because I a.s.sumed it could cause stretch marks, but I hadn’t really thought of anything yet. Well, I did think of one, but I was still unsure on how to keep it…It was just to cut off a piece of skin…But, do I put it in my pocket?

While I think of something, my skin will just have to do.

So, since I was able to do that, I could now carry more than just a little bit of food and water, as I can make many parts of myself expand, and then bounce back when I take away my spiritual essence. It was really quite a fabulous thing!

Honestly, it sort of freaked me out when I did it the first time, seeing no bulge where I had a piece of fruit in my skin. I had quickly used my spiritual essence again, because my skin didn’t show the piece of fruit at all!

I was sure that there was some nerdy explanation to this, but with my basic mind, it was hard to think of it to something I understood. By the looks of what I could see, the fruit would grow small, just before I placed it inside of my skin, then grew bigger when I took it out.

It took me months to figure out some kind of basic way of understanding what was happening…Then, I figured that it’s the spiritual essence that I use, as well as the meditation. When I figured that it wasn’t my skin, but perhaps my spiritual essence, I tried it on something else, that I didn’t put into my skin, and found out that I could enlarge and make things smaller!

I guessed it was having the idea of having a big, large ‘s.p.a.ce’ and having many things fit into it, that made my spiritual essence do it the first time.

Since I had figured that out recently, I hadn’t put too much of it into practise, because I had that premonition soon after figuring that out…

Closer…Further away. And, smaller…Bigger. What else could I learn through ‘Bending s.p.a.ce’ meditation?

 

…Suddenly, something caught my eye and I felt that my instincts told me to go there. I had gotten used to these invisible urgings in my past life…And to explain that in a basic way, would probably lean towards, having a funny feeling that seemed right…

Honestly, I spoke to quite a few people in my past life about these instincts of mine and I felt like I was some strange person because of them. So, I don’t talk about them anymore, but still religiously followed them…

Not every time do I understand my instincts, because they might led me somewhere I don’t need to go, or they would want me to get something that I shouldn’t have, but it didn’t matter as I continued to walk in the direction that I needed to go!

No doubt, there’s a reason why I had to go there! It might not show something good out of it for years, but it had to be done. I must follow my instincts!

I don’t want bad luck!

…It was a tavern, and I had noticed that I had not had a drink, in a very long time!

 

I was only slightly addicted to alcohol in my past life, not having it interfere in paying the bills or any other necessities. I was pleasantly curious as well, on how it would taste here and went straight to a waitress, asking for light alcohol.

The waitress looked at me strangely, “We don’t sell alcohol to children.”

“Pretend.” Was all I said in return.

The waitress laughed, “Humph, what an odd one you are. This cannot be done, little miss.”

A man then came up and said, “What’s the problem?”

I looked at him and bluntly said, “Light alcohol, please.”

The man was stunned for a moment, and then laughed.

I had attracted attention to myself and a few other people looked at me and also laughed.

The man smiled, “Are you meaning milk instead, my dear?”

“No.” It wasn’t my fault that he a.s.sumed I didn’t know what I was talking about!

“My apologies, but we can’t be a tavern with the reputation of selling alcohol to children. I think it’s best you left, my dear.”

The man tried to usher me away, but I could only stand still, look at him and pout.

The man sighed and bent to my height again, “Young miss…”

I interrupted him by quietly saying, “Take me somewhere no one else is, and let me drink.”

The man shook his head, “I can only offer milk to the young miss, that’s of course, if you decide to stay.”

Clenching my fists, I unintendedly let loose my cultivation base, and the man stepped back in astonishment.

“I am trying to calm myself and I require your a.s.sistance…Sir!” I said through a clenched jaw.

Just give me a b.l.o.o.d.y drink!

Another voice suddenly interrupted, “Do as she says, I’ll watch her.”

Flicking silver into the other man's hands, he looked over at the young la.s.s.

“Ye…Yes, my lord.”

 

I look up to find that the person who just talked…

Seeing his face…I looked again. It really was quite handsome!

He seemed like the CEO or prince’s that used to be on the cover of books! They were all s.e.xy and handsome…And that was the first thing I thought of when I looked at him the second time…

He showed a very slight uplift with his lips, which seemed to make him look more charming. It was the first time I thought that he was as beautiful as what they normally say in books!

He would make a good main character!
