He put his guards up and concentrated on his Soul Pond. If the Soul Worms ran wild, he would most likely die. Therefore, he waited at the foot of the mountain, for Lu Li to come out or for the Soul Worms to go wild, whichever came first.

Du Ran thought about it and decided to wait for some time with Yu Huashen. Then he could offer an explanation to Du Zheng and probably defend himself if in the future the Lu Family came to condemn him.
