When Lu Li showed himself to the base camp of the Barbarian Race again, many barbarians almost burst into tears. Rui the Iron was not surprised. He knew Lu Li would come back again after realizing that the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d could not work.

But Rui the Iron faked it well. He yelled in rage, "Human, you have gone too far. You have taken my Ding of Barbarian G.o.d and I have told my people not to leave our base camp. What are you doing here again?"

Lu Li put on a stern expression. Standing outside of the base camp, he said, "Rui the Iron, why do I come back here? I think you know the answer. You have tricked me. Believe me, I will kill all the barbarians. Also, I will tell Little White to bite a hole in your head. I know I swore that I could not kill you. But Little White can!"

"Squeak, squeak~"

Little White sneaked out from Lu Li's sleeve. Its little eyes were filled with coldness. Rui the Iron shuddered.

Rui the Iron thought about it and said right away, "Human, I did not trick you. Don't do anything rashly. Let's have a talk."

Lu Li answered coldly, "Did you do something so I cannot build a connection with the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d?"

"What could I do?"

Rui the Iron said with hidden bitterness. Then he thought of something and said, "Right, human. This Ding of Barbarian G.o.d was made by our ancestor who refined it with divine thunder from the highest of heavens. Therefore, you will be needing the power of thunders. We all have to pour in thunder energy. You cannot make it work…it's probably because you don't have that. You must learn a Profound Meaning related to thunderbolts so you can make it work."

Rui the Iron didn't withhold any information this time because he was terrified of Little White who was not afraid of thunders and it survived after being stuck by thunderbolts for so many times. Its defense was strong and it could bite through a Quasi Relic. If Rui the Iron was bitten by Little White, his could be beheaded.

It was true that to make the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d work, it would require Xuan Energy and thunderbolts energy. Rui the Iron had pointed the way out for Lu Li. If he really could learn a Profound Meaning related to thunder, then there was nothing Rui the Iron could do to stop Lu Li.

Lu Li stared into Rui the Iron's eyes to make sure that the latter was not lying. Then Lu Li snorted and said, "I will try to get some thunder energy. If that still cannot work, I will have Little White kill you."

Lu Li turned back and left, carrying the saber on his back. The barbarians began to curse and swear. Lu Li paused, turned around and gave them a cold glare which shut them right up. It became as silent as the grave.

To the barbarians, Lu Li was no different from the G.o.d of death. Not even Ding of Barbarian G.o.d could kill him or trap him. Who else could kill Lu Li in this small battlefield?

"Whoos.h.!.+"

Lu Li leaped forward and disappeared into the mountain range in the distance. Rui the Iron breathed in relief. He found not even his base camp was safe enough now. Could he stop that small beast if it broke in the base camp?

Lu Li rushed on with Little White. He didn't take Fate Wheel, though, as flying would consume both Xuan Energy and his spirit. When there were no enemies present, it felt better walking.

"Squeak, squeak~"

Little White suddenly hopped onto Lu Li's shoulder and kept chirping. Lu Li didn't understand and stared at it in confusion. Little White chirped for a while and then ran toward the Interspatial Ring and pouted at it. Little White's two horns on its head began to light up with glares of thunderbolts.

"Eh…"

Lu Li was shocked. When did Little White learn to discharge thunderbolts? It never showed such abilities before.

"Has it been subject to too many divine thunders and now its horns has some storage of energy of thunder?"

Lu Li murmured in surprise. Then an idea sprang to his mind. He asked, "Little White, are you saying that you can refine the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d?"

"Squeak, squeak!"

Little White nodded happily. But it seemed to be blaming that Lu Li had taken too long to understand.

Lu Li rolled his eyes. This beast was a Xuan Beast. Never had he heard of any Xuan Beast that could refine a Xuan Artifact or use one…

However, since Little White was confident, Lu Li got his hopes up again. He had always been regarding Little White was his family, a family member that would never turn its back at him. If Little White could build a connection with the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d, it was not different that Lu Li did it.

He found a big cave nearby and found an open tunnel in. He took out the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d. Little White whooshed out. It pushed the lid open and sneaked into the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d.

Little White stood in the middle of the floor. Its horns began to generate glares of thunderbolts. Electric arcs were sent to all directions and they all disappeared into the iron wall.

Lu Li jumped up and stood on top of the tripod Ding. He stared for a while before he mumbled in shock, "Eh, well…there are some runes in Little White's horns. Is it using divine energy?"

How could normal thunder energy contain runes? The only explanation was that Little White used divine energy. It was trying to refine the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d by utilizing both divine energy and thunder energy.

Lu Li stood on the tripod Ding, holding his breaths while quietly watching Little White release thunder energy. Those electric arcs varied from the ones discharged by the Barbarian Race whose thunderbolts were black but Little White's were white and contained some holy energy.

Two hours, four hours and six!

The Ding of Barbarian G.o.d showed no signs of reaction. Lu Li began to lose his hope. So, it seemed that Little White could not build the connection, either.

Little White must be tired. It stopped and chirped at Lu Li and pouted its little mouth. This time, Lu Li understood. He took out some Soul Crystals and threw them in. Little White took some. It rested for a bit and went back to discharging thunderbolts.

Lu Li sat on the tripod Ding with his legs crossed and eyes closed to cultivate some Xuan Energy and recover. He consumed some Soul Crystals before he started to cultivate Xuan Energy.

Half a day pa.s.sed and then one day!

Lu Li's mind was weighted down. He felt pity. He had acquired such a piece of treasure and yet he could not use it. Naturally, he felt frustrated.

Learning a Profound Meaning of thunder properties?

Easier said than done. Profound Meanings were not something that could be learned on overnight. Otherwise, everyone would have been powerful. Among Jiang Hu and the rest of the team, only three had learned Profound Meanings and they were of low levels. How talented Jiang Qiling was! But she never did learn a Profound Meaning.

Little White flew out from the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d which flew up as well. It shrank and disappeared between Little White's eyebrows as a shadow.

"Squeak, squeak!"

Little White smiled and chirped at Lu Li. It was happy and asking for praise, much like a little kid waiting for appreciation after a good deed.

"You have succeeded?"

Lu Li's shock turned into happy surprise. He threw Little White into the air for several times before he asked again with a laugh, "Little White, you really have succeeded?"

"Squeak, squeak~"

Little White raised its head up high in pride as if saying in a wordless way that this was not worth mentioning.

"Good!"

Lu Li shouted, "Suck me into the Ding of Barbarian G.o.d. But don't use thunderbolts on me. I will die."

"Buzzing~"

From between Little White's eyebrows came a small tripod Ding that enlarged and suspended in midair. The lid was open and some horrifying strength was let out. Lu Li was sucked in at once. Then the lid was closed, entrapping Lu Li inside again.
