Chapter 35: Lunch at the Tang residence
“Tomorrow, I’ll take him to the new apartment . After that, we’ll go to father’s place for lunch . We’ll tour the museum in the afternoon and day after tomorrow, we’ll go the Ocean World . ”
Su Xi was burdened with regret, “You two go ahead, I still have lots of work to finish . ”
Tang Siyu sported a sympathetic smile . “It’s good that you have lots of projects to work on but don’t tire yourself out . Your daily life is too chaotic . ”
“Alright . ” Su Xi pursed her lips . Even though she was a part of the entertainment industry, she didn’t rely on underhanded methods to achieve fame . Her popularity was the result of her hard work .
After the food was finished, the trio went back to Su Xi’s apartment .
Next morning, all of them went to Tang Siyu’s new apartment!
The little boy was ecstatic when he was the piano, so Su Xi immediately let him play a melody on it . She flopped onto the sofa, admiring the warm and inviting ambience of the suite . “Ah, I want to move in with you too!” She sighed .
“I prepared a room just for you . You’re welcome to sleep over here anytime you want!”
“Really? Good! Then I won’t step out of this place at all . ” The decorations and the style of the suite decided by Tang Siyu was extremely appealing for girls and Su Xi was in love with it!
After a while, Tang Siyu drove to the Tang residence, Little Xi seated right next to her . She’d called and told Tang Xiong about her visit beforehand and he was eagerly waiting for them .

Qiu Lin was well aware of the fact that Tang Xiong had gifted an apartment near Little Xi’s kindergarten to Tang Siyu, along with an expensive car . Qiu Lin bore a deep hatred towards her step daughter . She believed that Tang Siyu acted like she was miserable and baited Tang Xiong into buying expensive stuff for her .
As for Tang Yiyi, her grudge towards Tang Siyu didn’t even need to be mentioned . After Mu Fei heard the news of Tang Siyu’s return, he became cold and distant from her, as though the thoughts of his previous lover still plagued his mind .
She was painfully aware of the fact that even after spending five years together, she still wasn’t able to erase Tang Siyu’s place from his heart . She left as if she was suffocating, her throat being strangled with the uncomfortable facts .
Tang Siyu planned to leave right after lunch was over . However, at the dining table, Qiu Lin suddenly came up with a shrewd idea . Her husband had already bought an apartment for Tang Siyu, so she should turn into a favourable opportunity for herself! She turned towards Tang Siyu and spoke with concern, “Oh Siyu! You lived abroad for so long, I’m worried about you staying at your friend’s house . It’s not a good thing to stay for so long . Shouldn’t you buy your own house? Say honey, why don’t we buy one for her?”
Tang Xiong smiled at his wife’s generosity and said, “I’ve already bought one for her!”
Qiu Lin smiled happily, “Oh really? That’s good! Siyu, look at how much your father loves you! He’s usually not so nice to others . ”
Tang Siyu laughed at her in her mind . She knew exactly why Qiu Lin was faking her kindness . She just wanted to appear kind, generous and loving in front of him! But she didn’t bother to expose her .
Suddenly, Tang Yiyi cut into the conversation and addressed her parents, “Mom, Dad, Mu Fei and I agreed to get engaged by the end of this month . ”
Qiu Lin was delighted at this news . She looked at her daughter and exclaimed, “That’s great! Now, hurry up and finalize everything and get married by next year’s spring! I’m so happy!”
