After the FBI had left, Steele finally appeared. He didn't ask directly, but he was indirectly trying to find out Huang Xuan's relations.h.i.+p with Senator Melvin. Huang Xuan coped with it diplomatically.

"I can't read the formula but I know the completed product."

Huang Xuan was glad. He had thought that he would need to ask Steele for help with the clinical tests. "Is the medicine OK?"

"All is usable except number three. But there is a bit of a problem."

"What?" Huang Xuan became worried.

"Model N requires the cooperation of the base. You may need to send your grandpa to the base."

Huang Xuan shook his head immediately. There was always someone taking care of his grandpa in the hospital. How could he take his grandpa away without being found out?

Rolin waited for a while until the medicine was put in the plane pa.s.sage. Seeing Huang Xuan still hadn't responded, he said, "In fact, the base could be simulated with energy, but it costs too much."
