Under all the unnecessary attention from the people around, Lu Zhaoyang had finally arrived at the venue Gao Hai arranged. She pushed the door to the private room open, as it revealed Gao Hai and his group of … girls?

“I’m sorry Mr. Gao, our president had an emergency and could not make it today, so, I’ll talk on his behalf instead.”

Lu was baffled by the group of outrageously dressed girls caressing Mr. Gao.

“Oh well.” Gao Hai was a little disappointed. His giant belly jiggled as he waved the ladies away.

“Such shame. It took me quite a while to gather these beauties, of all horoscope signs, both fleshy and slender here. Too bad Huo won’t be able to have some fun with them.”

He glanced at Lu Zhaoyang with a certain glow in his eyes. “Are you that Secretary Lu that always follows Huo around? Well, take a seat. The pleasure’s all mine.”

Lu Zhaoyang sat across the table. She took a doc.u.ment out and was going to pa.s.s it, “Hahahaha.” It seemed that the jolly president was not that interested in business yet. “We will talk about this later, let’s have a few drinks, shall we?” He pushed a gla.s.s of wine towards her.

“O-okay, sir…” Lu Zhaoyang’s brows furrowed slightly as she clumsily took the gla.s.s over and made a clink with the president. The president gestured her to drink it bottom all up. “Mr. Gao, this is our proposal for the upcoming project, there wou-”

Gao Hai stood up and slid right next to Lu, as his arm stealthily around her waist.

Lu panicked and immediately stood up from her seat. Yet a strange dizziness had caused her to lose balance, falling back into her seat. She felt a little drunk apparently.

“Hah!” Gao Hai laughed with his meaty hand gripping her shoulder. His snorting nose then began scouting her body, as he enjoyed the aroma of a youthful beauty.

“You smell so good… How about you just be a good girl and stay still? I have just let you taste a highly distilled wine, anyone would be drunk and weak even at a tiny sip.”

Well, the wine was meant for Huo Yunting. President Gao intended to drug Mr. Huo with alcohol so those ladies could seal their own deal with the man in bed tonight.

“Too bad that President Huo is not here, though it was not that bad ’cause of you, la.s.sie.”

Lu Zhaoyang attempted to break free from Gao Hai’s grip and mustered all the remaining strength to get up and le…l…leave… Her wobbly feet only managed to lead her a few steps, until the plump president pinned her to the ground.

“You sure are a wild kitty, girl. But you won’t be running away tonight. Just give up,” said Gao Hai, panting heavily as he started unb.u.t.toning his s.h.i.+rt. The rus.h.i.+ng blood could be seen in his reddened face and also at his hill below. He was literally like a hog during mating season, especially when his laughter escaped his disgusting snorts.

“Don’t worry, la.s.sie. As long as you serve me well, I’ll give more sponsors to your project. I’ll make sure Thunderbolt’s bank account would blow up the next morning.”

Lu Zhaoyang started crawling toward the outside on her elbows. “Y-you better not t-touch me. The president w-w-would not let you go that e-e-easily.” She warned angrily. She could not believe that a stern-looking CEO of a prestigious company like him would play such a dirty trick.

It was even worse when he openly taunted Huo Yunting!

Her nerdy gla.s.ses had fallen off that it revealed that charming side of her. Lu’s dreamy eyes and cheeks reddened by the spiked alcohol.

Gao Hai was drooling as he scanned his precious tonight. He could not help but slurp a few times.

“There’s no need for that. I believe your dear president would let this pa.s.s once he sees the compensation I’ve prepared.” He then pounced on Lu. “Let’s not waste our night doing this prey-predator game. Join me, baby, come with me.”

Lu Zhaoyang hurriedly tumbled away. She got up and started sprinting.

Nevertheless, the alcohol still conquered her steps as her feet lost coordination, only to be captured again.

“Why you little!” He instantly hit Lu with a forceful slap. “I’m warning you, la.s.sie. If you screw this up, you would hope that you actually got screwed tonight.”
