The Tang Xiao who kept shouting how much she wanted to sleep with Mu Cheng, at this point, when she really was a step away from sleeping with him, suddenly didn’t know what to do.

Her whole body stiffened.

She was lying on the couch like a corpse.

Mu Cheng just continued to hold her like that, calming himself down.

The whole room was filled with an ambiguous atmosphere.

In the darkness, Tang Xiao’s face was flaming red.

Mu Cheng’s fingertips were still on her waist, as her waist grew even warmer.

After half a moment, Mu Cheng felt like he’d calmed down.

His fingers moved away from her waist as his expression grew normal.

He lifted her up into his arms and placed her on his knee, as he began to tidy up her clothes.

Tang Xiao wanted to find something in his expression but she failed.

Mu Cheng was still as cold and aloof as always.

But Tang Xiao’s face was still flushed.

“Do you want to play Spirit Road for a bit?” Mu Cheng asked.

Tang Xiao shook her head.

“Then, play by yourself for a bit. I’ll go cook dinner.”

Mu Cheng kissed her forehead again before putting her down and heading into the kitchen.

Tang Xiao twisted around on the sofa for half a day before finally regaining her senses.

She was one step away from sleeping with Mu Cheng?

The consequence of letting Tang Xiao play by herself was, that she fell asleep.

She happily slept on the couch.

When Mu Cheng came to call her for dinner, she didn’t respond.

She was curled up like a little kitten, so when he called her to get up, her hands and legs curled around him instantly.

They tightened around Mu Cheng’s waist, not letting go.

“Tang Xiao, wake up, let’s eat.”

Mu Cheng didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

He had no other methods so he carried her into the bedroom.

Tang Xiao woke up on the second day.

When she turned around, she saw that Mu Cheng was slowly opening his eyes.

Mu Cheng was a light sleeper so when Tang Xiao turned around, he’d already woken up.

“You’re awake?” His voice was still a bit languid from having just woken up.

His pajamas were slightly gaping open, revealing a bit of his chest.

Tang Xiao’s mind was slowly working again and she instantly jolted awake.

Did she just sleep with Mu Cheng for a night?

Mu Cheng saw her like this and thought she had a nightmare.

He pulled her into her arms, lightly patting her back.

“What time is it?”

Mu Cheng looked at his wrist.w.a.tch on the bedside table, “It’s only 5AM, you start work at 7.30AM. Let’s get up and eat something first. I couldn’t get you to wake up yesterday.”

Tang Xiao rubbed her face against the blanket, her face unwilling to get up. “Since I began filming for the Third Gender, I’ve never been able to sleep in.”

“You’ve already starved for a whole night, let’s get up and eat something. You can sleep on the way to work.”

After an hour and seeing she was about to be late, she still hadn’t seen Xiao Lin come and find her.

So she tried to call her number but Xiao Lin’s phone was turned off.

Mu Cheng decided to drive her there but when he opened the door, he saw Mu Jin standing in front of his door, her face hesitant.

“What are you doing here?”

Mu Jin = the girl who was p.o.o.ping next to TX in that stall after her partner mistook her for the sleazebag director and beat her up with a pole. She has a lot of interesting professions.
