It Seems I Came to Another World, Now What Should I Do Chapter 2

Chapter 2: I thought this was j.a.pan, but apparently its not

 

I can hear the sounds of the forest.

A sound which seem like it would belong to a bird, the cry of a beast, they sounds that I think i have heard before but i am not certain.

It reminds me of the time my grandfather took me to the mountains, I can’t help but feel uneasy.

“Where, is this place……Aaah, I’m late, I’ve never been late or absent”

I start looking around in an attempt to escape reality.

“Hmm, the vegetation seems j.a.panese……this,Isnt  it an oak, even acorn have fallen, is it a Konara oak”

Because my grandfather was a hunter who did farming as a side job, ive been going to the mountains since I was young.

In other words, I cant get the tree types wrong.

“where in j.a.pan is this place?”

Usually when trees that can be used for firewood are densely packed, it would hint to human involvement.If that is so then a residence of some sort should be nearby.

“For now, Finding a private house is my top priority, but first ill check what i have on me”

Since its unknown how long it would take to find a private house, i’ll first check my belongings.

“Three notes, Five ball pens, 2 lighters, 2 towels, one 500ml water bottle, three portable meals, 2 solar chargers, 2 rechargeable smartphone battery’s and a set of tools”

Because I often can’t get lunch, i luckily prepared some portable meals, Also to prevent my work smart phone from running out of energy, the charging system is perfected.

“The smartphones antenna……is no good, the compa.s.s works, what countryside is this?”

Because countryside forests tend to have a lot of dangerous organism, having tools for self-defence is important.

“If anything comes out, it will be on the level of dogs and snakes. In the tool set there was  a large-sized cutter, for the time being why don’t I make do with that”

I process a split branch of a tree that is around 120cm thick, I can use it to pin down snakes and also as a cane.

“I don’t want any leech’s or tick, but im too defenceless in a suit”

I wrap a towel around my neck to protect it. and to find out if there is a road, i find a tree that is easy to climb and climb it.

“I haven’t climbed trees in 20 years, here’s hoping its st.u.r.dy”

While keeping my metabolic syndrome in mind, i want to avoid breaking it because of my weight.

After taking about 20 minutes to climb to a place with a decent view, i start looking around.

“What is this?”

I became speechless, the forest keeps going on as far as the eye can see, It is obviously not the kind of terrain you would see in j.a.pan, if there was this much flatlands, development would have continued.

‘A place far beyond here’

I remember the line that was muttered by Interface.

“Oioi,This isn’t j.a.pan……where is this place”
