Empress with no Virtue Chapter 51

h.e.l.lO EVERYBODY!!!!  I have finally reached the exact midpoint of this series! Another 51 chapters to go (including the epilogues) Hahahaha… I hope you guys will be satisfied with this chapter ;)

Warning, for slight nose bleed session at end of chapter XD .. hahahahahahaah Before leaving the capital, Ji Wu Jiu needed to pa.s.s an imperial edict to Ye Xiu Ming and Fang Xiu Qing, to allow them to make decisions for the court while he is away from the capital. Besides that he also needs to choose a candidate for the next emperor, as a precaution, and also to avoid Ye Xiu Ming and Fang Xiu Qing from dragging him back to the capital.

Choosing the standby emperor is really something that causes headache, earlier on it was mentioned that the royal family has very little descendants, and Ji Wu Jiu was the only son of his father. Last time, when the emperors gave birth to a few more sons, they will also fight till the last one survives. Ji Wu Jiu’s father previously also killed of his brother in order to obtain the throne.

Therefore Ji Wu Jiu had to go through his ancestry book, and found a distant relative. Therefore, with a stroke of his brush, he chose Princess Li Yang’s son, Tan Ji as the standby emperor candidate. If anything were to happen to Ji Wu Jiu, Tan Ji will have to change his surname to Ji, and to be adopted by Ji Wu Jiu as his son. Princess Li Yang is his aunt, so this Tan Ji is his direct cousin brother, so his decision was reasonable. Furthermore to allow Tan Ji to take over the throne, there are advantages, this person, his brains are very weak, to the point of not being able to be groomed, his father was mentally ill, and has long since been gone, and only Princess Li Yang is guarding him, relying on the wages for the royal family to survive. The armour is full white, smooth, s.h.i.+ning and soft. This thing, the name is called “Silk s.h.i.+rt”, a very common name, but has a very special ability; Impenetrable. Although the name is called silk s.h.i.+rt, but it is not made from silk, but  from a type of spider web that can only be found in Yun Nan forest. This type of spider is very rare, its body is very big, and the web they produce is very strong, one strand of it can trap a goat. Someone mysterious there has collected this web for years, and finally made this one armour, and somehow it ended in the hands of Ye Xiu Ming.

Now, Ye Xiu Ming has no choice but to take it out and pa.s.s it to Ji Wu Jiu. No matter what, this little rascal’s life is the most important, more precious than any treasures in the world.

That night, Ye Xiu Ming sent someone with the armour to chase after Ji Wu Jiu, to make sure Ji Wu Jiu receives the armour as soon as possible.

Not to mention that the people that Ji Wu Jiu brought along are all elites amongst the elites, and their horses are the best, after three days they have caught up with the army group that has earlier on departed. Seeing Tan Feng Xiang, he went straight to the point and asked him if there were any person that entered the army group with a tiger seal. About this matter Tan Feng Xiang was not really sure. This tiger seal, because it involves the emperor, so the people that saw it will not really mention about it, and will not leak any news out. But seeing that Ji Wu Jiu was looking very anxious to the point of wanting to swallow people up, he immediately got people to ask around layer by layer.

Ji Wu Jiu also personally requested Lu Li to meet him, but in the end Lu Li was also clueless. He was still worried, but also felt calmer; Zhen Zhen did not come to find Lu Li.

After 4 hours, a soldier was brought forward to be questioned, he said that there was really someone that was carrying the tiger seal that entered the army group.

JI Wu Jiu immediately brightened up “Where is this person now?”

The soldier did not really know who the person was infront of him now, but seeing Captain Tan’s att.i.tude towards him was respectful, so he answered respectfully as well “General Zhen stayed at the army camp for two days, taking some explosives and bullets, and have left”

“General Zhen?”

“Yes, he says his surname is Zhen, a 5th rank general personally appointed by the emperor, his name was Zhen Wei Meng” (it means, (Zhen) Really, (Wei Meng) Strong.. something like that..lol)

Looks like it was really her.

Ji Wu Jiu’s mouth moved a little and asked “When did he arrive and when did he leave?”

“General Zhen arrived on the day we set up camp, I was the one that received him. But because he said that the reason he is here is very secret, so I did not mentioned it to anyone else. He followed me to check on the armies and two days later he left without bidding farewell”

After hearing what he said, Ji Wu Jiu understood what Ye Zhen Zhen was thinking. This woman is really clever, she already knew that someone will be chasing her soon, so she will not wait to be captured. The reason why she stopped here, was also just to get some armed weapons, and bullets.

No, that shouldn’t be it only. Ji Wu Jiu closes his eyes, with his understanding of her, for her to take such a big risk to come out, was most probably being attracted to war, and if after coming out and did not go to war, surely she will not be satisfied. So at the end, she would still end up at Liao Dong, but what she wants is for the person that was send to catch her get nothing, and after that person returns to report to Ji Wu Jiu, then only she will return here. Therefore, as long as anyone were to go to Liao Dong to wait for her to reveal herself, then sooner or later she will be captured.

Then, after leaving the army camp, where would she go?

Ji Wu Jiu was looking at a map, and guessing the place that Ye Zhen Zhen will head after leaving the army camp. This woman likes happening places, and with the tiger seal, she can enter any army camps, and any opportunities to visit army places she will definitely not let go off. So most probably she will go to a city that has army reserves….. his gaze stopped at a point on the map.

Ji Zhou.

The city of Ji Zhou is located on the north of the capital, all year round there are soldiers located there. After Nu Zhen tribe took over Meng Gu, Ji Zhou is facing the North Western Meng Gu and North Eastern Nu Zhen directly. It was just that these two forces are located a little far from this place, so they are not directly involved with the battlefield.

Li You’s background was really mysterious. This person knows medicine and war strategies, knows how to play the zither and how to write poems, able to use the sword, as well as to use a chef’s knife. It seems like he a jack of all trades.

He adorns a white cotton robe, and appears to be like a weak scholar, but Ye Zhen Zhen has fought with him before, and knew that he is not at all weak.

His body was tall, looks… can be considered good looking.. Ye Zhen Zhen at this moment does not know how to judge a man’s looks, because she found out, being faced with Ji Wu Jiu everyday, the type of handsome-ness he have, has made the other men, no matter how good looking, became common or normal in her eyes.

But, Li You has something that Ji Wu Jiu does not have: He likes to laugh, and when he smiles it was extra gentle, making people fl.u.s.tered. Adding on that he is very knowledgeable, and also interested in almost anything, Ye Zhen Zhen quite like to interact with him.

Today, Li You invited Ye Zhen Zhen out, and she also accepted. Initially Li You’s intention was only for the both of them alone, but w.a.n.g You Cai was worried and with a thick face he accompanied the both of them, like a lamppost. Ye Zhen Zhen did not stop him, so Li You also did not say anything.

The north side’s spring arrived a little later, the flowers by the river side just opened recently, and the willow trees just recently sprouted some greens. Ye Zhen Zhen was standing by the river, looking at the flow. Li You was looking at her.

She was looking straight, not wearing any scarfs, her neck was smooth. Besides that, she was not wearing her armour today, although wearing men’s clothings, but her chest…. E, it was still detectable.

Finding that his thoughts are a little perverted, Li You coughed, and looked down.

“What’s wrong?” Ye Zhen Zhen asked.

Li You did not answer, but turned to look at the gun that was on her waist, and asked “The gun that you are carrying now, is it that multiple shot gun in the rumours?”

“it is” Ye Zhen Zhen took her gun down, aimed it at the sky. Her gun, although uses the same type of bullets in the army camp, but the body of the gun is smaller than those, and was more suitable to be used by woman.

Li You looked at her actions and laughed “Can you borrow it to me?”

“No”

“Do not mind please” Ye Zhen Zhen place the gun back at her waist and said “The armory stated, the multiple shot gun’s production is our Da Qi’s top secret, this weapon cannot be borrowed to others easily”

Li You smiled “I was just a little curious, If so, then it was me who was too absurd, let me first apologize to you Zhen…. Brother Zhen.”

Ye Zhen Zhen just only wanted to console him, but in the corner of her eyes , almost like seeing ghost, she shouted “Not good”, turned around and ran.

Li You felt something was weird, turned around and only saw a man leading a group of people chasing towards her scarily.

That young man was shouting while running “Zhen… Zhen Wei Meng! Stop right there!”

Ye Zhen Zhen upon hearing those words, without even turning back ran even faster. Her black and full hair was also moving along with her. Li You did not know what was happening, but could tell that this man came to look for trouble, so he tried to stop him. But didn’t know that the moment he raised his arms, a shadow has already pa.s.sed by, the man is already way ahead of him.

Such speed!

Li You still wanted to chase after him and the group of people that was behind that man, has already come up and surrounded him, and not caring about the both of them who went far ahead.  Li You observes the people around him, and found that they are all people with high martial skills, if they were to fight him one on one, he still have some chances to win them, but to fight them in a group…. He immediately place his hands down, and made a “I Surrender” expression.

Ye Zhen Zhen was running along the river, and has considered jumping into the river a few times, but could not really find the courage to do so. The river in this early spring should be very cold, thinking about it alone has made her s.h.i.+ver.

Ji Wu Jiu was getting closer.

Ye Zhen Zhen was already on the verge of crying. She didn’t know that he was able to find her in so fast, and also wouldn’t have guessed that he will personally come to get her.

Seeing that Ye Zhen Zhen was not really far from him, Ji Wu Jiu jumped up, and grabbed on to her. The both of them fell down at the river side, and rolled a few times.

“I am wrong!”

“Ji Wu Jiu, I miss you”

The rolling duo suddenly stopped.

JI Wu Jiu looked at the person that was pushed under him: Wearing men’s clothing, her hair already loosen, and covering her forehead and eyes messily, and because of the running earlier, she was flushed and breathing heavily, the breath she was releasing was straight on to his face, making his face flushed as well.

Even at, the her at this moment, he also found that he did not dislike it.

She said she missed him, but who knew if it was sincere or lies.

But whether it was the truth or not, it still managed to shock him: Ji Wu Jiu’s anger was dissipated by her one sentence.

He felt that his heart was numb-ish, and a little hot, this heat was transferred to his face, and then entered his brain. Suddenly he bend his head, and locked Ye Zhen Zhen’s lips crazily, “I missed you too, missed you…”

In Ye Zhen Zhen’s heart, this method is really useful.

She no longer dislikes Ji Wu Jiu’s kisses, although she wasn’t sure why, but the most important thing now is to make sure he is not angry anymore. So she was going along with Ji Wu Jiu, and used her tongue to lick him.

This action has totally made Ji Wu Jiu lost his last bit of rational, kissing her, .. his body subconsciously grinded on her legs.

A man, meeting his wife that he was been searching for days, and to be treated this pa.s.sionately by her, if the lower half of this man did not have any reaction, then he can be an eunuch already.

Ye Zhen Zhen felt the hard and warm thingy on her legs, and remembered, that day Ji Wu Jiu quite enjoyed being touched there, and this time wanting to please him, so she decided to please him. Therefore, using a little strength she held on to that thing.

Ji Wu Jiu was going to be crazy soon.

The group of soldiers earlier on, seeing that they have not returned after so long, was getting a little anxious, a few of them went ahead to look for them. To find the both of them at the river side, with Ye Zhen Zhen under JI Wu Jiu, and her body shaking a little, the guards immediately dispersed and ran away like they saw something scary.

Over there, the two of them was too busy to realized what happened. Ji Wu Jiu was laying on top of Ye Zhen Zhen, his face at hers, breathing heavily, and calling out “Zhen Zhen” by her ears. Ye Zhen Zhen was a quick learner, and seeing that the Ji Wu Jiu now has turned from the calm and collected person he was into a different person now, Ye Zhen Zhen felt that she accomplished something big.

Ever since this event, Ye Zhen Zhen has concluded: If Ji Wu Jiu is ever angry at her, no matter how angry he is, as long as she touched there, she can make his anger dissipate almost immediately.

Note: Oh my… our zhen zhen is really…. Clueless!!!!! Hahahaha.. I pity Ji Wu Jiu.. I also think that at the end when Ye Zhen Zhen called out his name instead of “Your Majesty” it truly melted Ji Wu Jiu’s heart even more… hehehe

Also.. not sure if that Li You will be a compet.i.tor later…. Hmmmm….
