Kotori often comes to my room. Whenever he has an errand, he lands on my rooms windowsill. It's no problem when it happens in the morning or at noon, but sometimes he turns up in the middle of the night.

I spread out the beautiful white feathers and look for the thorn.

That white bird has that name. I don't think it's shy. I comes to mess around my room.

“What makes you say that Julia?”

I change the topic because I don't want to say that I was talking to an anybird.

“Oh, my mother called. You've got to go study.”

“Okay.”

“Please do your best.”

“Yes.”

By big sister Julia closes the door and leaves. I close the window and head towards the first floor to go to the study room.

I started studying recently. Words and calculations are easy, but I have to memorize aristocratic manners and the history of the Adlet kingdom as they are completely subjects for me.

Anyway, I'm a third son, so I don't think it's meaningful to study even though I'm not succeeding the territory. When I'm a bit older, I want to become an adventurer and travel around this world. I wanted to do it in this world because I died suddenly in my previous life and couldn't travel satisfactorily. The language barrier has already disappeared thanks to the G.o.ddess Meliarina, but in this world there is a dangerous barrier called a monster.

I'm worried about it, but I can't travel if I'm concerned about that. It's important to talk about it, though.
