, one of the soldiers yelled at us. He looks rather angry and was glaring at us with his hand already grabbing his sword’s scabbard. How quick-tempered. Well, I will ignore him though.

Mylene points her finger towards the soldiers and, a rope of light captures the soldiers. We walk past the soldiers who fell on the spot without looking at them.

“Now then, shall we go. It’s going to be our house. Let’s enter from the front through the entranceway”

I activate Dark Sorcery. Creating a dark bullet in my right hand, I release it at the royal castle’s door. Along with a loud sound, the door blows away. We pa.s.s through the opened door grandly.

“Nero”

“I understand”

I give Nero the instruction and, Nero takes out a small pouch from within his robe. He threw the small pouch he took out into the sky and destroyed the pouch with magic. And then fragments of jewels scatter from the small pouch.

The fragments of jewels are called Magic Crystals, fragments that were able to have magic power condense in them. It can be a medium to activate magic with that alone, it’s primarily something that takes ages and forms inside a monster’s body.

It is normally only obtainable by defeating monsters and taking it from them or, mining from caves and so forth with a high density of magic power but, I forcibly made it this time.

This, it seems anybody can do it as long as they have high magic power. However, in comparison to the natural Magic Crystals that takes ages to form, it’s fragile and the amount of magic power it can use is little.

In this world, there are the Magic Tools that Chrono thought of that and was stolen by the Holy Kingdom. Though it’s as crude as it can be in comparison to what Chrono made, Magic Crystals are necessary to operate it, everybody takes care not to break it when they use them. Which is why, man-made Magic Crystals that are easily broken, can’t be used in Magic Tools……however

Magic Tools that Chrono created that uses my Magic Crystals activated without any problem. I think this is the difference in capabilities here

The scattered Magic Crystals dropped onto the ground and the effects activate from the impact. The effect is to forcefully teleport those who possess the other pair of the Magic Crystal over here. It can also be used in traps and so forth but, this time

About 200 grotesque-looking things, Nero calls these guys, Opus Killer. Those Opus Killers line up behind us. The residents who saw this sight screams and runs about trying to escape.
