Visitors' Objective

There is a total of seven visitors who came from the Demi-Human Country in the Throne Room.

Two men and one woman with long ears and golden hair.

Two bearded face men whose height is only roughly up to my chest.

One man whose appearance is human-like but has scales here and there and a large tail.

One woman who's smaller than the bearded face men by far, her height is only about 40 cm and she has wings growing on her back which makes up a total of seven people.

From the top, they are the Demi-Human Races called Elf Race, Dwarf Race, Dragonewt Race, Fairy Race.

The Elf Race has many who are skilled with magic and archery, so much so that they are called the hunters of the forest. Their characteristics are the long ears and the plentiful beautiful men and women.

Many of the Dwarf Race are proud of their strength. Although all their heights stopped at about that of a child's, from children to adults, all of them possess ridiculous strength. It seems they're able to easily lift a human up with one hand.

It's said that the Dragonewt Race is the descendant of the Dragon Race that's born between the Dragon Race and Human Race. It seems that because their overall abilities are high and they have a high magic resistance that puts dragons to shame, there are those amongst them who walk the continent as mercenaries.

Lastly, it's the Fairy Race, they are even more skilled at magic than the Elves. To the point that they can bring a country down without any problems with about 10 people if they so desire. It's because of their low magic power capacity as with their body that they don't do that. Instead, because their magic power's recovery is faster in comparison to that of an ordinary human, it seems they don't have any problem casting magic normally.

Such a group stare scrutinizingly at us who came in suddenly. I remove the robe I'm wearing while walking and head to Fia's side.

Fia stands up from the seat and moves to the side when I get close to the throne. She's lowering her head until I sit on the throne. I guess this is her way of loyalty.

Normally, I don't come to the throne like this even if I come here secretly but, right now my matters are already out in the open. I guess it's unnecessary to purposely hide.

Ever since she became the queen, she's not as hostile to me as she was before. Although the way she calls me doesn't change, even so, I wonder if ‘mellowed down quite a bit' is the right way to put it. She became gentle.

Although we still haven't done it at night, we occasionally sleep together. We didn't do it because it's always when she's having nightmares that we sleep together.

Somehow, it seems she's being reproached by the father she killed and the ministers in her dreams. I suppose this is something psychological. The guilt towards having killed her father with her own hands is tormenting her.

Ever since I heard about that from the shadow that follows her, I make sure the shadow calls for me whenever she's having a nightmare. And then sleeping while holding her hand became the daily routine for this half a year.

Initially, she was surprised when she woke up in the morning because I was beside her and I was sent flying away by her kick but, perhaps she's gotten used to it recently, she stopped being surprised.

Of course, I didn't forget about Mylene. Fia pretty much doesn't have any nightmare on the following night perhaps thanks to me having slept together with her so I spend that night with Mylene.

It happened by chance that I naturally ended up alternating between the two of them once every other night. I make up for it by making it an intense one night so Mylene's also satisfied with that.

As I'm thinking about such things, I take a seat on the throne. Uwaa, hard. A lot of gold and silver are being used perhaps in order to make it prestigious so it's rather hard and tough to sit on. It's amazing how Fia can sit on such a hard chair. I shall give her some back ma.s.sage next time.

……Alright, it's about time I get into the main topic huh. Seeing me suddenly sit on the throne, the Demi-Humans look at me suspiciously. Amongst them are those who turn their animosity towards me, well. It's the two male elves. For some reason, they look at me with eyes filled with animosity. It p.i.s.ses me off so shall I kill them? However, before that

“”Ghaa!?””

the two male elves were grabbed on the head and smashed into the ground by the Dragonewt Race man. The only ones who were surprised by that action were the female elf who's standing at the very front and the Fairy Race woman who rides on that female elf's shoulder.

Since both the Dwarf Race men have also taken a combat-ready stance, if the Dragonewt guy didn't make a move, I suppose they'd have made a move instead.

In contrast to that, the Elf Race woman and Fairy Race woman appear to be not that good with combat affairs. Both of them didn't notice both their killing intent.

“Wh, what is the matter, Arg. Why in the world did you hit the two of them!”

“Melda. These two were releasing their killing intent at Hardt-dono who's the reason we came here. All of us would have been killed if we aren't careful. Hardt-dono, please forgive us”

Although the Elf Race woman, the woman called Melda, was surprised by what the Dragonewt Guy said, seeing Arg and the two Dwarf Race men lower their heads, Melda lowers her head in a panic as well.

“It doesn't matter, as long as you guys take care of it properly. However, there's no next time”

Melda and the others who nod at my words. Lightly releasing some killing intent at them might've also been effective.

“And what's the reason you people came? Afterwards, I want you to tell me how you come to know of me as well”

As I thought, the one who reacted to my words was the female elf who's at the very front, Melda. It seems she's taking up the role like that of a leader amongst these members.

“Yes. Firstly, let me introduce myself. I am the Demi-Human Country, Mercure Kingdom's Second Princess, Melda・Mercure. The Fairy Race who rides on my shoulder is Snow, the Dragonewt Race man is Arg, the two Dwarf Race man are, Saygen and Taldor. And then, the two men who were disrespectful towards Hardt-dono are……”

“Aa, those two are fine. I have no intention of remembering them”

“Un, understood. And, the reason we came to this country this time around is, Hardt-dono, we came to ask for your help”

For my help huh. I don't know how the conversation turned into something like that but, first of all

“And the reason you know of me is?”

“Ah, yes. The reason that we came to this country and the reason we know of Hardt-dono is, my mother. My mother is Mercure Kingdom's queen, we came here under Her Majesty Elfrail・Mercure's order and Her Majesty has a certain power. We were able to know of Hardt-dono through that power”

“A certain power? That is?”

“……My apologies. I am unable to talk about it right here right now. However, I can swear that it is absolutely nothing that will cause harm to Hardt-dono”

Humph, it doesn't look like she's lying so maybe she's being bound by something so that she won't talk? If I want to ask about the reason that they know of me then I have to directly meet the queen or whatnot huh.

Uーn, I can't not meet her huh. Although I don't know what kind of a power she has, it's an ability that's able to locate the hiding me. I think it'll probably become troublesome in the future if I don't come up with some sort of counter-measure.

Besides, I was just thinking about going to another country. I'm also slightly interested in a country where Demi-Humans resides. For the time being, I guess I'll ask the reason they came.

“And the reason you people came is?”

“Yes, the reason we came is, we came to pick up our country's messiah, Hardt-dono! Please save our country!”
