Chapter 909: What Was He Trying To Show Her Underwater?
Translator: EndlessFantasy Translation Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation
Gu Xijiu could clearly see Di Fuyi's eyes in the bubble. He was manipulating the bubble with a spell that he was holding in one hand and at the same time, embracing her with the other arm.
What was he trying to show her underwater?
Did he want to show her the night views in the dark abyss? She honestly felt that there was nothing she could see.
Was it for the clams?
Could it be the crystal palace?
After all, the crystal palace was just a building from the ancient tales. It was impossible for it to exist for real.
They had already been a few hundred meters underwater. If the bubble broke, both of them in the bubble would not only be drowned – they would be easily crushed under the tremendous pressure.
It was clear to see how much pressure the bubble could take.
Gu Xijiu knew that it would not be easy for him at the moment, so she did not ask him any further. As long as he was with her, she would never have any danger. Even under the circ.u.mstances of immense dangers and difficulties, she would not be afraid at all.
She caught a glimpse of faint lights underneath the bubble. She looked down and was immediately surprised. Indistinctly, she could see a bluish building covering a vast area, s.h.i.+mmering brightly in the deep sea.
It could not be a real crystal palace, could it?
Could there be some aquatic species? Was the Dragon King real?
As they approached the blue building, she could see the outlines of the building even more clearly. It took her breath away.
It was a real, solid building. The roof was made of jade and the wall was put together with hawksbill sea turtles. The trees were actually the corals. What she was seeing was even more breathtaking and luxurious than the crystal palace that she had once seen on television.
The building lied quietly underwater. The waterweeds of various species swayed gracefully in the flow of the currents. It was as miraculous as a fantasy.
"Puff!" The bubble seemed to have poked through some wall and landed right in front of the entrance to the building. The bubble broke, allowing Gu Xijiu to stand up straight. In awe, she then realized that the palace was not surrounded by water at all. She could even breathe. The air was as refres.h.i.+ng and as gladdening as the air in the woods.
She had never thought that it was possible to have such a building in the deep sea, a building so dazzlingly beautiful.
Gu Xijiu stood frozen for a few moments; she then took Di Fuyi's hand and bit it. "Is it painful?" She asked with her eyes bright open, still in awe.
Di Fuyi did not answer her question. Instead, he took her hand instantaneously and marched forward, "Don't worry, this is not a dream."
Gu Xijiu followed him. She was walking on a pathway paved with green jades, she felt as though traveling through the Green Stone Road within the mountains in Jiang Nan. It was damp and almost quaint. The green jade path was surrounded by corals of different colors and sizes. There were even some clams with their sh.e.l.ls open, completely showing off the pearls that were s.h.i.+mmering within. The pearls were the flickering lights of the pathway, guiding them all the way to the core of the building.
Gu Xijiu took her first look at the two red doors. She was not sure of the material of the doors. They seemed to be made of jade. The doors would occasionally flash a glimpse of red light and brighten up the entire building.
Above the doors was an empty board. There was a big, white stone next to the doors.
"What is this?" Gu Xijiu was a little overwhelmed.
"It is for you to name it." Di Fuyi was still holding her at her waist.
"For me to name it? Is it built for me?" Gu Xijiu was again overwhelmed with the high pitch of excitement.
"That is correct." Di Fuyi was smiling, "Haven't you always wanted a crystal palace? How is it? Do you like the crystal palace?"
Gu Xijiu was overwhelmed by the heartwarming gesture, "I like it!"
He was indeed the greatest man in the continent. His ability to build a house anywhere anytime was beyond comparison.
