Wu Haoyuan was rather pleased today. He was quite successful last night and heard the magpie chirping outside his windows. As expected, something good will happen.  

He was a fourth year student from Wu Dong university. He didn’t know what it’s like for other people going to university, but Wu Haoyuan’s only purpose in attending university was to pick up girls.

Wu Haoyuan had good looks and was popular among the girls. Although his family was not too rich, but their a.s.sets were still worth more than a billion. On the first day of university, he drove there in a yellow camaro and gained more than enough attention. 

At first, he was seeking prey within the school. Whether it was his cla.s.smates or seniors, all comers were welcome. Wu Haoyuan was handsome and he knew how to deceive girls perfectly and sweetly, he slept with more than ten girls in merely his first year. At the end of the first year, he was even discovered dating three girls at the same time and it was very well known within a small group of people. He was lucky that his family settled it so the situation didn’t deteriorate and Wu Haoyuan seemed like he started to restrain himself. 

Except, he just changed his prey to girls from other schools. Especially during the first semester in his third year, he dated a high school girl from Wu Da Secondary School. It was a whole new world to him and he loathed himself for not discovering this area earlier. 

High school girls nowadays were even more open than girls in university. During his third year in university, how could Wu Haoyuan only be described as pleased? The key point was that high school students were easier to deceive. Even if they found out about something, it would be settled with an iPhone. Occasionally, there were a few who were really annoying, Wu Haoyuan had prepared in advance and did not tell them his real name and school. 

But half a year ago, he successfully deceived a third year high school girl from Wu Dong Secondary School. When he went to pick her up after school, he took a liking in her friend instead. 

The girl he hooked up last time was  only for his money. Although she was only in her last year of high school, she was not a virgin. Wu Haoyuan straightforwardly told her that if she can help him to get in contact with that girl, he’ll buy her a Chanel bag. 

He did have chances to get in touch with her, but the girl was indifferent towards his pesterings and started avoiding him after two times. Wu Haoyuan had never met a girl like this before; the harder it was for him to get, the more he wanted it. Having spied her through a few of her friends, Wu Haoyuan found out that it was impossible to get the girl with money, so he pretended to be a gentleman blindly in love and began to wait for her everyday after school. 

Although his actions made the girl exchange their WeChat ID, but it only went this far. It had been more than half a year and Wu Haoyuan couldn’t even touch her hand.  

Two months ago, he knew that the girl also made it into Wu Dong university, Wu Haoyuan did not even hesitate to reveal himself as a student from Wu Dong university. He wanted to use his ident.i.ty as a senior to treat her dinner with the excuse of celebrating her becoming a student with great ability in Wu Dong university, at the same time celebrating them becoming alumni through fate. 

But even so, the girl still rejected him and it made Wu Haoyuan furious without a reason. If it was something else, Wu Haoyuan would have given up a long time ago. Although this guy was still quite young, but he had an extraordinary addiction towards women alone. He thought that when the girl entered Wu Dong university, he would have more chances to get in touch with her and eventually get hold of her.

What he did not think of was that when he was at a Karaoke, he unexpectedly encountered the girl again. This girl who did not take the bait was impoverished to working as a waitress in a Karaoke. 

After treating her with gentleness and ease, the girl finally told him that her mother was sick and she needed a large amount of money for treatment. The school fees they prepared beforehand were already used so she applied for a late entrance, and she could only work herself to maintain the family’s living. 

As for WeChat, the girl could only sell her smartphone and bought a 80 yuan second-hand functional phone. To her, be able to make calls was more than enough and she never saw the messages Wu Haoyuan sent her. Wu Haoyuan thought that the the world was ever-changing and realised that his chance had come. 

Therefore, Wu Haoyuan indicated that he could help the girl and pay for her mother’s medical expenses with the demand of her being his girlfriend. The relations.h.i.+p of her as his girlfriend can even automatically be removed after Wu Haoyuan graduated from university. 

Wu Haoyuan solemnly vowed that it was because he really liked the girl and hoped to be together with her. But even 70,000 yuan was a large amount of money to him, so if they were only normal friends, there was no way for him to ask his parents for money. 

The girl did not reject him entirely but did not accept either, she only left in a hurry. 

And this morning, the girl finally called him and wanted to meet up with him. And on the call, the girl asked timidly: “Do you really like me?” 

Wu Haoyuan replied without hesitance: “Of course, I’ve pursued you for over half a year. Is that not enough to convey my sincerity?” 

The girl was silent for a long time, said: “Ok, let’s meet at the KFC outside school. Is it true that you will agree to borrow money for my mum’s treatment?”

Although 60,000 yuan still hurted him a little, but thinking that it can make the girl serve under him, Wu Haoyuan was rather aroused. 

Wu Haoyuan drove his yellow camaro to the KFC in front of the school, but could not find the girl after looking for her. 

Wu Haoyuan took out his phone and dialed the girl’s number. Although he was slightly annoyed, but he pretended to be loving and caring, and asked: “Hey, I’m here, where are you?” 

The other side was clearly in a flurry; the girl continuously apologised: “Sorry, sorry, I was there for a long time. I waited for you ever since I called you. But my family suddenly called and I had to go back. I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you because I was in such a hurry.”
