Pasu rolls his shoulders as he wore his newly bought armor, flexing his hands a bit, before letting out a excited squeal as he spins around in his armor. “Holy c.r.a.p, I can’t believe it! Real Thunderfist armor! Real, actual, Thunderfist Armor, with its own oxygen tank and everything! Dream 405 complete!” He dusts off the black beret that he bought, and sets it over the helmet. “And with this beret, it’ll be the legit Commander helmet.” He squeals again.
Pym comes up next to him and looks at him. “I’m surprised you can even breath in that piece of junk.”
“Look who’s talking!” Pasu yells back as he looked at what she bought with all that money she hid… Somewhere… Who knows where.
She puffs up her cheeks, her red eyes glowing red, which makes Pasu’s own eyes shrink as he dives into another barrel, this one sadly filled with water, so not he was soaking as his head slowly emerges with an annoyed expression. “I need to get over that…”
“Yes you should.” Pym nods.
“Problem is, while you’re an extremely adorable little girl, you’re also VERY scary when you want to be, your appearance adding to the factor.”
Her face flushes red as she awkwardly scratches at her cheek with a finger. “You think I’m adorable?”
“Uh, yeah.” Pasu responds slowly, knowing full well from all those anime what that reaction means, and while they SAY she’s older, the fact doesn’t change that she looks 11.
Soon enough Hynnia comes out with a suit of black iron armor, the armor covered her entire body, while she wore a skin-tight suit underneath over the usual clothing that she had in her pack. Upon stepping out, she notices Pasu in the barrel. “Now what?” She tilts her head.
Pasu blushes madly at the sight of how tight the suit was, immediately looking away. “N-N-Nothing…”
Hynnia puts a finger to her chin thoughtfully. “You’re getting sick again, Hakuen?”
Pasu quickly dives back into the barrel after yelling out. “IT’S NOTHING!”
Pym frowns, and glares sinister daggers at Hynnia, making the poor girl raise her hands with sweat. “What did I do this time?!”
Pym huffs and walks ahead.
Hynnia scratches at her head. “What is going on with you this time, Pym?” She asks no one in particular, before turning as Wolik comes out in a full suit of steel plate armor, a blue shoulder cape, a s.h.i.+eld with a templar symbol, and a large sword sheathed in the s.h.i.+eld. The sword and s.h.i.+eld were specially designed so that the s.h.i.+eld had a sheath behind the arm that only that particular sword could fit in it. As he set the s.h.i.+eld on his back, Hynnia spoke up. “Looks good, though it could use a bit more gold.”
“Well, this isn’t the Holy Templar set, it’s the Grand Knight set, and as such it doesn’t have the same design.”
Pasu pokes his head out. “So basically you’re wearing Clause’s 4 Star gear from King’s Raid?”
“Who’s what star from where?” Wolik asks aloud.
“Nevermind.” Pasu climbs out of the barrel and shakes his body like a dog, somehow getting all the water off.
“...How the…” Wolik asks this time around.
“What?” Pasu asks, oblivious to what happened.
“You… Oh forget it.” Pasu shrugs as Wolik looks at Pym, who was currently sitting at a fire, tossing in wood carvings of Hynnia. “Hey, Pym! Lay off on the sinister girl act for a few minutes so we can figure out where to go next!”
Pym says instantly. “The Guild Hall, they have good jobs.”
Pasu stops, and falls over, groaning as he covers his now covered face with his hands. “Oh G.o.d d.a.m.n it! Not that old guild hall job cliche in every alternate world adventure rp and mmo! Why not something original?!”
Pym blinks. “You must be mistaking this hall with another. This hall doesn’t allow us to sign into the work, it keeps track via magic. You accept a job, and are given indefinite time to get the job done, so long as you return to the same hall for pay. They don’t even pay the small cash depending on rank, the cash depends on the work and how much you went through to complete it. Thanks to that magic they’ll already know and have the pay ready when we return.”
“So basically a slightly upgraded version of what I mentioned before.”
“Well if other guild halls work that way, then yes. However there are no other guild halls, this is the only one, though there are plans for more of course.”
Pasu gets to his feet, dusts himself off, and nods. “Alright, sure, why not?” Suddenly he’s splattered by a large wave of cut gra.s.s, simply standing there as he’s now covered in them, similar to a chicken. Spitting out some of the gra.s.s, he says calmly. “I think my luck has went from an average 5, to -1.”
Pym giggles at that. “I suppose so.” She clears her throat. “Anyways, we best head out.”
“Right.” Everyone nods and says in unison, before the four head out to their next destination.
...Later That Day…
Pasu collapses onto the table the four sat at as he whines. “Not a single job left, they were all taken by pa.s.sing adventurers…”
Pym simply nods, the helmet had retracted into the helmet, so her head was more visible, and it was clear as day she had a cookie dispenser in there as she was currently eating a cookie.
“What is it with you and cookies?”
“They’re sweet, delicious, and I have this thing for them, like a parrot for a cracker.”
“Right… Gotcha.” Pasu sits back down as he checks his armor. “d.a.m.n, where… Oh yeah!” He pulls his sack off and opens it, pulling out a few platinum coins.
“Where the h.e.l.l did you get those?” Wolik asks.
“You dropped them, so I called dibs.”
Wolik s.n.a.t.c.hes the coins back. “You don’t call dibs on that stuff!”
Pasu shrugs as he bites into an apple he also had in the sack.
Hynnia looks at Pasu. “So, has the fever gone down?” Pasu blushes again. “Oh no, it came back again, I’ll go get the medical kit.”
“OH f.u.c.k THIS s.h.i.+T!” Pasu dives and smashes through the window, before bolting down the road as he began yelling out profanity on getting away from the needle terror.
Pym bites extra hard on her cookie. “Stop toying with my Pasu…”
“Hmm?” Hynnia looks, having missed the sentence.
Pym looks away with a humph as she keeps eating her cookies, while Wolik sighed, staring out the now broken window. “So a love triangle, gotcha…”
...In Another Part Of Reality…
The inner spirit of the Blade of the Dark Light, the sword with a split blade of black and gold stood in the center of the realm of clouds, a single woman standing on the hilt of the blade, long flowing purple hair, a long black dress, a well endowed body, and the face of a mature beauty gazed up at the sky, her red slit eyes gazing the light trickling through as she stood there.
After a while, she whispers out in a dark, feminine voice. “The clock is ticking… The war is brewing… How much longer before the kettle bursts and the flames erupt…” She turns to face the other way. “And all I can do is wait here and keep calling… But for how long?”
Silence fell upon the area as she simply gazed forward, a single halo over her horned head, dripping blood.
...To The Far South…
“Milord, we’ve returned!” A woman says as she comes in, wearing a spy outfit as her black hair flowed around. Next to her was a simple man wearing a large backpack. “And we have news.”
The one before them, a very tall figure in demonic black armor, turns to them, and asks through a filtered voice. “What is it.”
“The 0 Star has awakened, meaning the next wielder is out there.”
The figure is silent for a moment. “I see, so the last of the former Project Seraph has returned in his new, reincarnated form. Do we know who or where they are?”
“No, but neither do the Ceterians.”
“I see… Inform the other Seraph Wielders. If we want to get a hold of them, we need something that can stand against the Union.”
“Understood, milord.” The woman leaves with the personal pack mule.
The dark figure turns to the ceiling on the home they owned, and spoke in a now female voice. “So, you’ve returned… We have a lot of catching up to do… Don’t we, my love…”
