After he had finished, the taxi arrived.

“I’ll tell you when you reach B City.” The man in white faintly smiled and returned back to his normal, gentle self. He turned around and opened the car door.

The man thought that Mu Yifan still had questions so he slowed down his steps and looked at him.

Mu Yifan ran over and like a chimp, he nimbly scurried past the man and climbed into the car. He innocently looked at him who was standing outside the taxi and explained: “This taxi is mine. I called it. If you want a ride, get your own.”

The man in white violently twitched his lips.

Mu Yifan ignored his darkened expression and quickly closed the door. He commanded: “Driver, let’s go.”

The driver stepped on the gas pedal and speedily drove away.

Mu Yifan turned his head to look back. From the rear window, he could see the man in white still standing where he originally stood. He exhaled a deep breath and then his chest nervously tightened.

In his novel, when the nails turned black and a zombie could control his hunger for humans and maintain consciousness, it meant that the zombie was a level seven or higher. He didn’t know what level this man was or if he had any special abilities.

Most importantly, the apocalypse hadn’t arrived yet so why did a high level zombie appear? Besides, in his novel, such a character didn’t exist. Where did this man in white come from?
