Zhang Jiasen’s gaze was slightly strange as he stared after this woman’s back. He pressed his lips together, then loosened his collar a little.

Ning Shu walked into the police station and looked through the barred window at Aunt Ping who was in prison garbs. Not much time had pa.s.sed, but Aunt Ping looked much older. She was no longer a capable and experienced servant of the Miao family. Her expression was panicked and filled with despair.
