Lin Rui immediately realized that the damaged window he saw was the result of Thor summoning Mjölnir, which shattered the gla.s.s on the facing wall.

Thor had only cleaned up the mess but hadn’t thought about replacing the window, perhaps because he couldn’t afford to hire someone to do it. Besides, he didn’t dare to mention it or contact the landlord, fearing a scolding.

“What should we do? Won’t someone come after me for this?!” Thor nervously walked to the window, his head extended to get a glimpse of the outside.

Although this widespread power outage has caused some damage, n.o.body will come after you for it. s.h.i.+ELD will handle it for you,” Lin Rui explained with a smile, seeing Thor’s perplexed and distrustful gaze.

Ever since the Dark Elves invaded Earth and Asgard dispatched powerful reinforcements, Thor’s ident.i.ty had ceased to be a secret. As long as Thor didn’t engage in any wrongdoing on Earth, s.h.i.+ELD could effectively resolve simple property damages like this.

“Really?” Thor released his grip on Lin Rui’s hand and continued to ask, still not entirely convinced.

“If you don’t believe me, you can wait and see, or should I ask for you?” Lin Rui replied, sensing Thor’s lingering doubts.

With a sigh, Lin Rui had no choice but to get to work and tidy up the chaotic living room for Thor. Of course, he wouldn’t touch Mjölnir, which lay in the corner of the room.
