In the instant that Loki’s staff emitted a green glow, J.A.R.V.I.S. recognized that something was amiss. It swiftly commanded the Iron Man suits engaging Loki to retreat.

However, despite J.A.R.V.I.S.’s quick response, as the Iron Man suits were still in the midst of their lifeform energy a.s.sault, their fiery red energy beams aimed at Loki were forcibly swept aside by a faint green radiance.

“Roar! Hulk!” However, the response that came through the communication device wasn’t Natasha’s; it was an enraged roar.

Hearing the roar, Falcon’s lips twitched, and he then spread his wings to fly away from Loki. He glanced upward and noticed that the Quinjet, which had been hovering in the sky, seemed to have been suddenly yanked downward, inexplicably experiencing a rapid descent.

As the Quinjet descended irregularly for several dozen meters, a ma.s.sive green figure burst out of it, cras.h.i.+ng through the still-closed hatch.

Fierce and ferocious, the hulking green figure emerged from the Quinjet, its limbs extended as it locked onto Loki below. With Hawkeye injured and Tony’s Iron Man suits mostly incapacitated, Rogers had Dr. Banner turn into the Hulk to the fray.

The Hulk’s speed upon erupting from the Quinjet was astonis.h.i.+ng; if Falcon hadn’t evaded swiftly, he would have collided. Swooping past Falcon, the Hulk reached Loki’s location.

“Hulk!!!” Glaring fixedly at the “little guy” before him, the Hulk unleashed an ear-shattering roar.

“What kind of a monster is it?!” Loki, who had just used a major move, stared at the immense green figure that was charging at him. His brows furrowed, and he muttered under his breath.

Although the ferocity of the colossal green figure charging toward him was undeniable, Loki didn’t truly feel threatened. After all, even an overwhelming amount of firepower couldn’t breach his magical defense s.h.i.+eld.

How could this gigantic green-skinned creature breakthrough? Loki couldn’t fathom how this being, whose only distinguis.h.i.+ng feature seemed to be a ma.s.sive pair of pants, could possess the means to penetrate his magical s.h.i.+eld. Loki doubted that this creature had any special equipment.

Hence, when faced with the Hulk’s frenzied a.s.sault, Loki merely extended his staff forward. The faint green radiance that had previously swept aside dozens of Iron Man suits reappeared. However, this time, the radiance was significantly dimmer, casting only a faint glow around Loki.

At this point, although the Hulk’s advance had been halted by the faint green magical energy and Loki wasn’t completely defenseless. When they were around three to four hundred meters above the desert, Loki conjured the small blade that had vanished earlier into his left hand.

After casting a swift glance over the Hulk, who was now less than two meters away, the small blade in Loki’s hand disappeared again.

The small blade that had appeared outside the faint green magical energy barrier was already embedded in the Hulk’s chest in the next moment.

However, the outcome Loki antic.i.p.ated— an effortless penetration of the creature’s chest— didn’t occur. Given Loki’s small blade and the immense size of Hulk, it was like a needle poking a giant.
