Yan Liang was still mired in her misery, unable to escape when the elevator doors dinged. Footsteps were on the other side. She heard a vaguely familiar voice fawningly say, "Chairman Liang, this way......"

Yan Liang froze and hurriedly turned around. She didn't have time to wipe the tear tracks from her cheeks. Raising her head, she immediately saw a pair of black-and-white, s.h.i.+ny leather loafers. Slightly moving her line of sight, she saw a pair of pure white slacks, then a black belt, following with a pale blue and white pinstriped s.h.i.+rt under a pale blue jacket.

It was a very relaxed look and also had a warm color scheme. But it wasn't clear whether or not the air in the elevator was too thin, so even though the colors were warm, but it still gave people a kind of formidable oppressive feeling.

Yan Liang took a deep breath. In the end, she still raised her head. Nothing bad happened. Finally what she saw before her was a handsome face that caused countless women to cry out.

Compared to the coincidental meeting with Liang Xi Cheng in college, the current Liang Xi Cheng's look was even more clear, n.o.ble, and threatening. Just standing in front of the doors with his hands behind his back, it seemed like there was a golden light s.h.i.+ning on him. It made his nose bridge look even deeper.

"You......Bai Yan Liang? Why are you sitting here?" The one speaking was her direct manager.  Of course he recognized her. He didn't think he would see in the chairman's exclusive elevator a pitiful Yan Liang. Scared that it would offend Liang Xi Cheng, he coldly rebuked her, "You didn't see whose elevator this is? Is this an elevator you can enter? Get up this instant!"

Yan Liang just then realized in her turmoil she entered the wrong elevator.

Internally she was upset. She immediately stood up and brushed at her tears on her cheeks; she couldn't do anything else. She opened her mouth, "Apologies, Manager Zhang. I......I didn't notice. I really didn't do it on purpose."

"You aren't a new employee. You've been at EC for so many years, yet you're making rookie mistakes?"

"I'm not myself today. I'm sorry Manager Zhang." This was not merely a rookie mistake. This was simply too embarra.s.sing. Yan Liang knew she made a mistake. She could only admit it and apologize.

"Well you......"

"You're Bai Yan Liang?"

A deep and powerful man's voice suddenly interjected. Manager Zhang didn't finish his sentence but hurriedly stopped. Yan Liang lifted her head in astonishment and looked into Liang Xi Cheng's captivating eyes. Her heart slightly trembled. She stiffly nodded her head, "Yes, I'm Bai Yan Liang."

"I've met you haven't I?" Liang Xi Cheng unhurriedly stuck his hands in his pants' pockets. Narrowing his eyes, he arrogantly sized up the woman in front of him.

Pinned by his gaze, Yan Liang didn't feel comfortable. Inside she felt anxious. In her memory, she couldn't recall meeting this lofty man. In college she did indeed see him, but so many years have pa.s.sed. He probably didn't remember.

"You're Jing Shan's friend?" A second later, Liang Xi Cheng directly gave her an answer.

Yan Liang released her breath and stabilized her mood. Then she easily laughed, "Chairman Liang, I didn't expect you would remember me. I do know Jing Shan."
