Mu Cheng’s expression was like how she looked at the dumb husky when it did something stupid.

“So can I say, do you guys do discounts? For example, can you give a discount for the next wedding?” Xiao Lin awkwardly changed the topic, but who knew that it became even more awkward.

Mu Cheng: ……

Tang Xiao: …. Why does something feel wrong?

The manager: …. Can we just chat happily.

“You haven’t even finished the first wedding and you’re already looking forward to the second one. Chief Ning will beat you to death.” Tang Xiao reminded her.

Xiao Lin’s face was pitiful, “I was just trying to make it less awkward.”

Mu Cheng rubbed his temples and ordered a bone soup for the people.

Xiao Lin took two bites but her stomach was too uncomfortable. “Mu Cheng won’t let you speak, doesn’t that mean he thinks that you make him lose face?”

Her voice wasn’t soft so the other two people heard.

Tang Xiao looked at her, “He probably thinks we’re both embarra.s.sing.”

Xiao Lin: …..

“I just think we should both just concentrate on eating. Let’s not mutually harm each other.” Tang Xiao concluded.

Xiao Lin nodded in agreement.

When they mutually harmed each other, it just ended up with both of them defeated.

Mu Cheng ate to about half way before Xia Ziyang called him to whisk him away.

The food had already been presented before the manager brought some wine up too.

Mu Cheng saw all of the different wines and instantly, his head started to hurt a bit.

“Remember to not drink any wine, okay?”

Tang Xiao nodded.

Mu Cheng left and Tang Xiao couldn’t resist.

The wines were pretty coloured, like soft drinks.

She chose a few cups, only sipping and trying a bit of each.

Tang Xiao then started to gossip in the room.

There was no point in talking to herself so she forced Xiao Lin to join in.

Xiao Lin sighed on the side as she called Chief Ning over.

Chief Ning had ordered a whole table’s worth of food but Xiao Lin couldn’t eat all of it and Tang Xiao didn’t eat much so there was quite a lot left over.

When Chief Ning entered the room, the first thing he saw was a gossiping Tang Xiao.

He sat down next to Xiao Lin and leaned against her, loosening his tie as he took her bowl and chopsticks, and began to eat.

“What did you eat for dinner?” Chief Ning asked.

Xiao Lin answered truthfully, what there was, how much she ate, whether or not she threw up.

She answered very thoroughly.

Chief Ning rubbed her head, satisfied. “Good, sit down and accompany me to eat a bit more.”

“What do we do about Tang Xiao?” Xiao Lin sat for half an hour, like she was in a comedy sketch with Tang Xiao.

One person asked as one person answered, exposing gossip about half the entertainment circle.

Chief Ning fed her something as he looked at Tang Xiao lazily , “Tang Xiao, you know Qiao Yijing, right?”

“I know, I know!”

“Then, talk about his gossip.” Chief Ning didn’t even look up as he continued to pick at the food, looking for something light for Xiao Lin.
