CHAPTER 69 PART 2

Chapter 69 Part 2  

   The sun hung over head. Obviously, it was not the hot season and month, but still, the sun shone intensely. And at the site, the sun at the time had nearly come out a little more. The ash and the dust blowing about, at the moment, it seemed to have entered the throat, resulting in a slightly uncomfortable itching.

Since Su Yi Cheng had sent her this morning, so today she didn’t drive, while the site was located in a partially peri-urban area, where there was less traffic and even fewer taxis.

“Ah, over there was a little trouble, wasting time.” Anran said. When she was speaking, she saw the woman standing beside Ling Lin. The woman was pretty and tall. She looked serious, and even looked somewhat like Ling Lin.

The woman nodded towards Anran, smiling politely. Anran also smiled at her in response.

“Sister, I’ll introduce you. This is our company’s designer, and now, she is my teacher, Gu Anran.” They stood in the middle while doing the introductions. Ling Lin said, “Sister Gu, this is my sister, Ling Ran. She returned from the United States. She came to see me. ”

Anran was smiling at her and shaking her hand, “h.e.l.lo.”

The beauty looked at Anran. On her mouth was hanging a faint smile. She touched Anran’s hand, “h.e.l.lo.” Anran’s eyes seemed to look at her inquiringly, it was unspeakably weird.

Anran withdrew her hand, and towards Ling Lin, said, “Well, you have some things, then I’ll be going up.” Directly carrying her bag, coffee, and bread, she went into the elevator.

Ling Ran looked at her back, watching her until the elevator door closed, yet her sight had not recovered.

“Sister?” Looking straight at her sister and the elevator door, Ling Lin tentatively asked, ” Sister, do you know Sister Gu?”

Ling Ran’s gaze looked towards her sister and smiled, “Nothing, let’s go.”

Ling Lin suspiciously looked at her sister. She did not say anymore, holding her hand and turned out.

Anran had just gotten back to the office. When she was about to thrust the key to open the door, without her pus.h.i.+ng it, the door opened. Then, she remembered that at noon, when she went out, she left the door open on her own, and without caring much, she went into her office. She put the bag away. She was just ready to eat her ‘ belated lunch ‘ when, out of habit, she opened her drawing in the table, ready to see which places she needed to modify. When she opened the drawing, her eyes suddenly widened. The coffee in her hand instantly fell, and that black liquid in the yellow plastic cup flowed down on the white floor tiles.

Anran suddenly stood up, looked at the table which had teh destroyed design. Her face was pale. Pus.h.i.+ng the chair, she walked out of the office. Standing in the doorway, she snapped, “Who entered my office at noon?”

People in the hall who were working stopped their work when they heard Anran’s shout. They looked at her stunned because they did not know what had happened.

One of her office colleagues, a young girl looked at Anran who had a livid face. She could not help but ask, ” Sister Gu, what happened?”

Anran went to the middle of the hall. Her eyes were scanning everyone present. Sternly, she said, ” At noon, do you know who went into my office?” This time, she was really angry. Her burst of anger was not without reason. Her drawing was nearly finished, but, at this moment she found, that sometime at noon, when she went back, her drawing had been torn apart.

Everyone shook their heads, seeming to have been scared to death. They didn’t dare to speak. They did not know what happened, but looking at Anran’s att.i.tude, they feared that the situation was serious.

Anran coldly said, “n.o.body said that no one recognized it, well, then I’m going to check the monitor today.” Having said it, she turned. Just when she wanted to leave, from the outside, Xiao Xiao came.
