“President Jiao!” Taking advantage of the person in the consultation desk who was snoring loudly, Secretary Yu Yuan called out to his president while gasping for his own breath. His plump body wiggles while running three steps after another to chase after Jiao Qi.

He originally followed the president to a dinner party, but he just shook hands with the client when they received a phone call from the hospital telling them that Jiao Qi’s legal husband, Zhang Chenfei, met a car accident.

He had followed Jiao Qi for three years, and this is the first time Yu Yuan saw him panicked as his face turned pale. Disregarding work, he grabbed his coat and left hurriedly.

He had no alternative but to apologize to the client. Carrying his weight of 180 pounds, he ran out as well to catch up with his boss. With a speed of 180 mph, he drove all the way to the hospital.

Jiao Qi threw a card to his secretary, turned around and walked to the emergency room.

“Hey! Zhangda diao! What the f*** do you mean??!” Jiao Qi shook the hand that was holding him and trembled. When he heard of his accident, he was so scared to death. How could this person say such hurtful words?

Zhang Chenfei lifted up his lips and smiled very abnormally, as if he was a perverted murderer in certain crime films. In some film and television works, this is what they call “charming evil smile”.

Notes: [1] Zhang is the surname of our male lead here. ‘Da’ means ‘big’. ‘Diao’ is a colloquial term in Mandarin that means ‘cool/extraordinary’ or ‘c.o.c.k/p.e.n.i.s’. ‘Diao’ also means ‘to f.u.c.k’ in Cantonese. As we go along, ‘diao’ will be used differently (sometimes it refers to the Mandarin meaning and sometimes, its Cantonese meaning) but Jiao Qi’s form of address to Zhang Chenfei which is Zhangda diao literally means ‘Zhang big c.o.c.k’. But of course, I will not be using the translated phrase because it will be distracting on my part… so I will retain the pinyin for it. I have only skimmed through the story but I think there’s a reason why Jiao Qi calls his husband like that and we will eventually get to that part. [2] Smart Brain – The literal translation from the raw is Wisdom Brain or Knowledge Brain, but, it was mentioned that this thing replaced the smartphones that we have now. Hence, I used smart brain … hahahahahahaha! *cough* … well, it would be easier for me to translate this way considering the logic behind…. *wink* As you may all know, this could also be referred to as AI (Artificial Intelligence). In this novel, smart brain is made up of two parts. First, there is a microchip implanted to the brain that is also connected to the neurons. Second, there is a peripheral linked to the smart brain in the form of a bracelet or wrist watch. Translator says:
