TL: Before anything else, please remember that from now on I won't remove the 'po' on the sentence/s. It means the person was speaking in respectful manner. Also, please don't be confused of Alyanna's "Ow Em Ji"  (OMG).

...

Brylle's POV

I witnessed all the mess of Yana's life. And she had also told me about her relatives who made her life difficult and even robbed her of her parents' fortune.

"So that's why Yana was so sad!"

"That's why I want you to investigate about that, Vander."

"Master, for real! Your wish is my command!"

Although I sometimes feel all sorts of bad criticisms towards me from her, I still feel that she's a real good person.

And maybe because of her kindness that she was frequently fooled by those people around her. That nasty woman who wanted to send her to jail was one of them. I really hate those people who take advantage and con others.

"But, but, but Master Brylle, what are we going to do after learning the truth and finding Yana's aunt?"

"We'll see what happens. However, for the meantime let's hide this fact from Yana. Let's inform her about this when we have enough information."

"Those who conned and made her life difficult must be punished!"

"We'll get there soon, Vander."

The little gnome smiled from ear to ear. He also likes my plan. And this could be because he also grew closer to Yana.

"But Master, I'm puzzled."

"About what?"

"Why did you go after Yana?"

I couldn't help but stare at Vander due to his question. I started pondering. And yeah! At that time, why did I go after that woman?

...

Alyanna's POV

I woke up early to start my plan. I want to also give Brylle's garden a make-over since this is the only way I know to express grat.i.tude to his kindness towards me.

Aside from that, this dead garden is the only image-destroyer of the Zaffiro mansion. When I fixed this, for sure no one would ever mistake this house where we live for a haunted house again.

I fetched all the gardening tools that they have hidden. And then I started this place's extreme make-over.

"What are you doing?"

Brylle's voice made my head turn. It's still not even six am so why was he up so early?

"Why are you digging my garden?"

I went to him. This should be a surprise but since he was awake, I'll tell him now. "I don't know how I'm going to pay you, Brylle."

"Have I asked for payment?"

"Nope. But this is my only way to express grat.i.tude to what you've done for me. Let me fix your garden. It would be such a waste if your place won't be beautified as a whole."

Brylle couldn't do anything and I also don't plan to be stopped by him.

While I was uprooting all the dead plants and digging the soil, Brylle only quietly stared at me. It was making me self-conscious but I managed to ignore it.

"Master Brylle! I'm now ready po!" I heard Vander's voice. When I looked back, it seems the little gnome was about to leave.

"Okay, take care."

"Where are you going, Vander?" I asked.

"Secret!" Vander replied in a naughty fas.h.i.+on. He was about to walk off when he suddenly stopped and stared at me. "How about you? What are you up to?"

"I'll be reviving this mansion's garden."

I saw that Vander's eyes started twinkling. "Really, really, really!" I have expected he would react like this because as far as I know, he was a Garden Gnome and his Element was Earth. Probably as I'm currently doing something related to soil and plants, he became interested. "I, really, really, really want to help!" He said. He even made his voice sound like a baby's.

"Vander, I asked you to do something, right?" Brylle met the gnome's eyes.

"Ay, you're right!" Vander's enthusiasm rapidly plummeted down.  While I, even now, still don't know about their activities. "But Yana won't be able to finish this task alone. This garden is so, so, so huge!"

"Just help me when you come back." I said.

"You'll still toil hard!"

"Don't worry anymore, Vander. Leave this to me." I wonder if what Brylle has said will turn true or if he was just rea.s.suring Vander. "I'll summon some Nature Spirits to help Yana."

"Nature Spirits!" The gnome grew happy.

"Nature Spirits?" On the other hand, I was clueless.

"Yehey, Yana will get help from the Nature Spirits! For sure, when I get back, this garden will be pretty!" After exclaiming that, Vander left in high spirits as if seemingly a.s.sured about something.

"Brylle, what are Nature Spirits? It's safe to be with them, yes?" I'm hoping that they are not fear-inducing as well.

Instead of answering me, Brylle only grinned out. And that grin made me nervous. What kind of creature will be with me, accompanying and helping me? I wonder.

...

The two of us, Brylle and I, were left behind. I was waiting for his next actions. On how he will summon those Nature Spirits. "When they get here, don't make it obvious that it is your first time seeing them."

"Why is that so?"

"Because Nature Spirits are intractable. They rarely venture to the Mortal World and they always make sure that no one will discover them so they could avoid danger. When they felt endangered, they will hastily hide."

"I only want to know one thing. Are they scary? Because if yes, please tell me early so I can prepare my reaction."

"There are many kinds of Nature Spirits, but those I would be calling to help you are the Earth Fairies."

My eyes grew as large as a washbasin when he mentioned the creatures. Earth Fairies? Tinkerbell's kins? Was he serious?

Silence pervaded the place. Using his newly acquired wand, Brylle made something come out of his palm. It was like he was holding small stars which suddenly morphed into flowers while he was whispering something in the wind.

When he raised his hand, those things on his palm turned into firefly-like creatures and flew high. Now both of us were looking up and waiting for the next event.

I was greatly astonishment when I saw the strange creatures flying to us. They looked like a group of b.u.t.terflies with s.h.i.+ning wings.

What Brylle had said came true. "Earth Fairies!"

Earth Fairies are by far the most wonderful and cutest creatures I've ever seen! They don't look like Tinkerbell since their skin was green in color and their eyes appeared like diamonds. Their attires were made out of flowers and they were playing in the wind.

This was another amazing moment in my life! And I know that as long as I'm with Brylle, the Cla.s.s B+ Wizard, there are bound to be more magical and out-of-this-world stuff to see and to happen!

"Ow Em Ji! They are so pretty!" I shouted in glee. Fortunately the Earth Fairies have not been scared by what I did.

One of them even landed on top of my palm.

"They will help you ease up your work in beautifying and fixing this garden." said Brylle. And I, could no longer wait to work together with these cute fairies.

...

It was now easier to uproot the dead trees. It was now easier to cut off all the wild gra.s.ses. It was now easier to refine the soil. It became easier to plant. In short, everything I had to do to enliven the mansion's garden became a lot easier!

Even though the Earth Fairies were talking using a strange language, I can understand them through their signs. I can command them and they always happily do it. Likewise, when they wish for something, I always do it.

It was like we're playing but with improvements happening to the place. And while I was enjoying what we've been doing, Brylle was only sitting there and watching us. The other fairies were playing with him and he was comfortable with that.

"Brylle, join us!" I invited him.

"Don't want!" What a nit-picky fellow! So lazy!

"Come on! You look gloomy there. Help us so it would be more fun!"

"You no longer need my help. You all can do that." Too much, this guy is very lethargic.

Luckily, I have thought of a way and informed the fairies so I would have allies. "Earth Fairies, do you want Brylle to help us?"

They all gave out a cute nod.

"Did you see that, Brylle? They want you here. Earth Fairies, looks like our Big Brother Brylle wants to be coaxed. Why don't you all surround him?"

The Earth Fairies obeyed my suggestion. Meanwhile, Brylle stood up and stepped back but his summoned Nature Spirits easily surrounded him and pestered him to come over.

"Yana!" He roared. I only laughed because he ended up with no choice but help us after that.
