(Ch.6) Sister, emmmm, sister…

At the end, I still skipped.

There's no way to avoid this because bringing a loli-shaped unknown creature to cla.s.s itself is pretty astonis.h.i.+ng, and my VP with menopausal syndrome definitely would not give up this chance to "educate" me.

What about leaving her aside……according to most movies/novels, the only possible outcome is tons and tons of trouble. So after my a.n.a.lysis, the best choice is to skip……and, I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable. It makes sense to skip.

Jing already left for work, me and Pandora is the only people at home. I have to hurry up and educate this unknown creature about common senses.

"Ok, remember, from now on your name is Lily Pan," I repeated again, "you are my long-lost sister. Unless there's no one else around, you are forbidden to mention anything about the Xiling Empire. Em… show me the 'birth mark' on your arm - excellent, magic-powered a.s.sembled organism ARE powerful. Just remember not to let my sister notice anything weird."

"Yes……brother" Pandora isn't used to this t.i.tle, she hesitated a bit before saying it.

This is my plan. Pandora will be my "long-lost" younger sister. I am an orphan, no one knew anything about my family, so no one would wonder if I suddenly have a sister. But, why do I still feel there's something weird?

No matter where she go, her eyes will always catch people's attention on first sight.

Looks like I still need to work hard to fool everyone about her ident.i.ty.

A day pa.s.sed by quickly. In this day, I did my best to tell Pandora everything I know about normal human life, not worrying about whether she can remember or not. And I also got more information about the Xiling Empire from her, including the thing I'm most concerned about - the execution list that is 99.99999999999999% unusable.

According to Pandora, the void node is too far from me. My commends need to talk a long distance to reach there, and because it's too far, my commends are already as weak as cosmic background radiation when they reach it. Then of course they will be treated as noise. What about using them as the secret weapon to bully jerks/date girls?

Ya right, people punch me and I bomb the earth with Xiling planet extinguisher? I cross-spatial military support system is obviously not for showing off.

"Brother, a carbon-based organism is moving toward us, please verify her ident.i.ty."

"Probably my sister's back," I look at the clock, "and, Lily, don't talk like this again. You have to make people think you're a human."

As I was saying, the door opens.

"I'm back~~, " Jing said with tiredness in her voice, which soon switches to surprise, "en? Jun, who's this girl?"

"Lily Pan," I push Pandora forward, pretending to be excited, "she's my younger sister!!"

"Younger sister?" She was surprised and confused, but she soon realized. "Your sister? Your biological sibling?"

Jing frowned, maybe unsatisfied with her cold reaction. I try to explain, "Lily didn't have a normal life, and……she experienced something really bad, so her personality is a bit weird."

Jing noticed Pandora's old and ripped clothes, soon feel sympathy toward Pandora, but her doubt still hasn't went away.

"This is the heredity of my family, not a birthmark, every relative of mine has this. And, although it might sound very supernatural, there's some kind of connection between us. My intuition tells me that she's my sister, and I'm 100% sure."

Thank G.o.d for giving Jing for a biology-challenged brain, otherwise she would've see through my stupid lie - where on earth would you find heredity this weird?

Gladly, Jing never pa.s.sed any of her biology courses, so she immediately believes me. At the same time, she noticed Pandora's eyes.

"Jun, her eyes……"

I gently lay me hand on Pandora's head, showing sympathy on my face.
