After a minute, the mana flow from the eye had calmed down and it flowed naturally like his own mana. He didn't feel it like it was the first time when the eye went inside. Their mana is now one. The weird feeling was gone.
Daedalus laughed and said. "Ku ku ku! How about it? The scanning phase is done, you can open your eyes now."
A familiar interface could be seen in his left eye, it was 'The Throne' interface! Ryth was shocked that he turned speechless until Daedalus's voice brought him to reality. "Oi, boy. I can't read minds, you know? Say something, this is my masterpiece of my life."
"HAHAHA!" Ryth laughed loudly, after some time, he tried to calm his excitement and said. "I could feel the mana from the "Eye of Daedalus" but it feels so natural, it was harder to sense it now than before." Ryth chuckled and continued, "I feel like with this power, everything will be easier!"
"Ku ku ku! See? You won't regret it, partner!" Daedalus said proudly.
Just as Ryth wanted to reply to Daedalus, Llyod and Hill shouted. "My lord! Are you okay?! Why are you laughing all of a sudden?"
Ryth turned his head towards the both of them. That is when his left eye could scan that there were two yellow diamond shaped things above their heads. "NPC indicator!" exclaimed Ryth with excitement.
In 'The Throne', the indicator for NPCs was colored with yellow, as for players, their indicator was green, and for enemies or monsters, it was red.
He could see their, jobs and names. However, he could only see the MP bars but not the HP bars and EXP bars. Even the level wasn't there.
"No HP bars, EXP bars, and level...? Are these not NPCs indicators?"
If it's a NPCs indicator, he should had seen their HP bars, EXP bars and levels too. Because they were in his team or party. But he couldn't see it. Suddenly, like a lightning struck him, he thought of a possibility.
"What if they are now real human beings? And I'm the only one with this game system? And this yellow indicators are human's indicator..."
This possibility might be true.
But he could see his own level, job, MP bar and EXP bar. But no HP bar. He could also see the skill, status, inventory and equipment panels. There was a skill slots as well.

Name : Ryth Myrad
Main Job : Swordman
Secondary : Archer
Level : 30
MP : 14000

"How come my MP is so high?" Ryth exclaimed in surprise.
"That's because I, or to be exact the 'Eye of Daedalus' gave you a status boost." Daedalus said.
"Uhm, I see... I guess I have a lot of things that i want to ask you later."
"No problem, I know you are confused about what you see." Daedalus replied.
"I see, so that's how it is... I will just put aside this game system first. After we have arrive at Mr. Rolands house, I will examine it more thoroughly and ask more questions about the system to Daedalus." Ryth thought to himself.
Suddenly Daedalus interrupted his thoughts. "What are you thinking now? I already told you that I can't read your mind!" Daedalus asked.
"How come you can't hear me? Aren't I talking inside my mind now?" Asked Ryth curiously.
"I don't know what you are thinking right now! If you don't want to have a conversation with me when you said something, it will not be transferred to me. You need to focus like you are talking with other human." Daedalus answered as he heaved a long breath.
Ryth lightly smiled and said. "I see, that's good to hear. It will be really uncomfortable if you can always read my mind."
"Ku ku ku! Are you worried that I can read your mind when you are thinking about something lewd?" Daedalus laughed.
"What nonsense are you spouting on?" Ryth said with displeasure as he continued, "Remember, although you already show me all of this, the point that I stated before is still intact! If I really find something fishy, I will take you out and bury you! Do I make myself clear?"
"Yeah, yeah. You are the boss, Ryth Myrad." Daedalus replied seriously.
Ryth smiled as he shouted to Llyod and Hill who were still confused about the situation. "I'm okay! it's just something really good had happened!"
Llyod and Hill then saw a golden eye replacing their lord's left eye. They were shocked and hurriedly asked in unison. "What is that, my lord?!"
"Ah... I guess, the lack of this eye is...it was too flashy!" Ryth answered. He then asked Daedalus in his mind, "Why did you colour it golden?!?"
Daedalus laughed and said. "Ku ku ku! Because, isn't it cooler that way?"
Ryth slapped his forehead with his palm in exasperation as he replied, "No, it doesn't!" then he heaved a long breath and said to Llyod and Hill. "The name of this thing is 'Eye of Daedalus', a legendary item that has a soul reside within it. The voice from before that I'm talking about is actually its voice. I'm talking with it before when you saw me talking to myself earlier."
Llyod's and Hill's mouths opened so wide, they couldn't believe what they had just heard. A legendary item with a soul inside! The chance of finding a legendary item was already slim. But this was a legendary item and it has a soul as well! The chance was one in one million chances! Their lord's luck was indeed something.
There was a legend about legendary items with souls within them. But because n.o.body had ever saw one, it was treated only as a rumour. But now they saw with their own eyes! Legendary items were not like cabbages where you could find it wherever you want! Although they still couldn't believe it, but they know that their lord have no reason to lie to them.
Ryth waved his right hand and said. "I'll tell you all about it after we get out from this dungeon." Ryth the picked up his bag and walked towards Llyod. "Here, put the left over inside my bag."
Llyod nodded and hurriedly put them inside. And once he was done, he said. "We are good to go, my lord."
"Okay, give me all of the bags. I want to check about something." Ryth said to Llyod.
Llyod gave the bags to Ryth. Then Ryth took it and asked Daedalus, "Inventory is something like a s.p.a.cial storage magic, right?"
"Yeah, I could open it" Daedalus said.
"Okay move these bags to the inventory." Ryth commanded.
Suddenly the bags vanished out of thin air, Llyod and Hill were shocked and said. "What?! What did you just do, my lord?"
"I have just used a s.p.a.cial magic skill so that we don't have to carry those bags. Come here, Hill. I'll put your bag inside the s.p.a.cial magic too."
The both of them gasped in shock as they thought. "Since when did our lord can use a s.p.a.cial magic? Is it the power of that golden eye?"
"Okay, everything is all good now. All I need is to get the dungeon core inside that pillar." Ryth said as he pointed his index finger to the huge pillar behind the big chest in the middle of the room. Hill nodded his head while Llyod said as he saluted Ryth. "Okay, my lord!"
Ryth laughed and said. "No need to salute me, you know?" He paused and continued, "Okay! Both of you follow me. Once we have arrived at the biggest chest, wait for me there and just leave the rest to me."
If this was the first time their lord acted recklessly, they would probably protest against his decision. But after seeing with their own eyes what their lord could do and that feats that their lord have achieved when they went inside this dungeon, they couldn't help but nodded their heads without asking any questions.
Ryth walked to the back of the chest and said. "Daedalus, we need to get the smaller magical gems first from the other 3 smaller pillars to unlock this big pillar's mechanism which contain the dungeon core inside, right?"
"Eh, I never thought you are so familiar with this kind of mechanism." Said Daedalus, sounding slightly surprised, he continued, "Well, as expected of someone who could figure out the secret room entrance. But you don't need to do something so troublesome such as removing the 3 smaller magical gems one by one, just take me to the main mechanism pillar."
Ryth frowned and asked, "You can open it without the need to remove the 3 smaller magical gems first?"
"Eh, boy, you are underestimating me too much! Every craftsman needs to study mechanism as well, and I'm known as the most skilled craftsman in history! This type of mechanism is a piece of cake for me." Said Daedalus in a proud tone.
"Okay, I will just do as you have said." Ryth then walked towards the huge pillar.
Though, Ryth still need to avoid many traps to get the 3 smaller magical gems. Because there were many traps on the way to every single smaller pillars. The fact that Daedalus said he could open the mechanism without the need to get the other 3 smaller magical gems first, saves a lot of troubles for him. So he decided to try what Daedalus had suggested. If Daedalus couldn't open it, it won't do him any harm anyway, since he already knew where the other traps were on the way to the each of smaller pillars. He could just took the 3 smaller magical gems.
He already knew that the traps were only on the first time they entered this room, and once they turned it off by pressing the b.u.t.ton on the biggest chest. There were no other traps behind him and on this huge pillar.
The only traps left were on the way to the other 3 smaller pillars.
He walked to the pillar and asked. "Okay Daedalus, what should I do now?"
"Wait a moment." Replied Daedalus.
After a short moment, the 'Eye of Daedalus' let out a light that resembled Ir*n m*n when he scanned something.
"What is that?" Ryth asked.
"I am using a scanning skill. Just like when I scanned you before. But this is the type to scan what in front of me. If before I ran my mana inside your body to scan you, now I make the mana flow through out from the eye to a certain distance to scan this mechanism and break the parts of this mechanism that connected to those 3 smaller magical gems pillars." Replied Daedalus while scanning the mechanism.
"I see..." Replied Ryth in realization.
"Crack!" "Zurrgg!"
After a moment, sounds of the mechanism being opened could be heard throughout the room.
"Okay, it's done. You can take the core now. Ku ku ku!" Said Daedalus in a proud tone.
Ryth slightly surprised that Daedalus could really open the mechanism, and in a short time too! But he remained a calmed expression on his face.
Before he took the core, Ryth looked behind him and said to Llyod and Hill. "Guys, after I take this dungeon core from this mechanism, we only have 5 minutes to escape. Get ready to run when I call. At my signal, run and follow me!"
The both of them nodded. Ryth also nodded his head and quickly took the core.
"Now, Run!" Ryth shouted.
