Chapter 8. OVO

Nowadays, the speed of the high-speed rail was very fast, after a mere two hours, they travelled from S city to B city.

The country's Supernatural Office was located on a small mountain in the outskirts of B city, the sign on the outside said it was a high-cla.s.s, private club, if a person didn't have a members.h.i.+p card, they weren't allowed to enter.

The fox's eyes were light brown, looking closely there were even flecks of gold in them. When he grinned, it revealed sharp, incisive teeth, the clear saliva dripping down the fangs, plopping onto the ground and corroding a small hole in the ground.

The little rooster received a big fright, squawking loudly before…… flying away = =

The smoking bro moved his gaze, spotting the empty s.p.a.ce in front of him, he sucked in a startled breath, "This is the Mythical Protection Department, not the Ghost Purging (Difficult to Purge Ghosts and Spiritual Bodies) Department!"

Hua Ji's head was filled with black lines, "I know this is the Mythical Protection Department, Lord Jellyfish is a lifeform, not a phantom, look clearly, he's standing in front of you."

The smoking bro inhaled in shock, he rubbed his eyes hard, almost plastering them on the gla.s.s before discovering something in front of his eyes. The smoking bro gaped.

The almost 300 square-metre[3] large office was practically filled up by Lord Jellyfish's tentacles, the entire sheet of 15×5 metre gla.s.s was completely covered by Lord Jellyfish's umbrella, innumerable dots of light flas.h.i.+ng, as if they were eyes- alright, those were eyes staring at the smoking bro.

The pressure of a ferocious beast from ancient times seeped out, the smoking bro only felt that his entire body was icy-cold, the cigarette in his mouth quietly extinguis.h.i.+ng, his entire body woodenly sitting there, not even daring to move.

"Thank you, Lord Jellyfish."

[1] In Chinese, Lord Jellyfish’s name is Shui Mu, and ‘jellyfish’ in Chinese is also Shui Mu, with only the Mu character being different. This is why the guy thought he was repeating his name.

[2] The Shui in ‘jellyfish’ is the same character as the one for ‘water’ (and also a character in my name lol, my name is 水莹 or Shui Ying xD). The Mu in ‘jellyfish’ is the same Mu in ‘mu qin’ or ‘mother’.

[3] I’m actually not sure about this, I did some searching, and all the results that popped up with this description is roughly 300 square-metres big so I just used this. The original is 三百平.
