“Of course it’s me!” The woman Feng Qingjue had eyed immediately stepped up self-confidently. Her three companions became enraged at the action.

“You little hussy, how dare you try and trick this old lady. Let’s see how this old lady will treat you¹ tonight.” As she spoke, the woman rubbed her palms towards Feng Qingjue’s direction. “Let’s not fight, everyone can take turns!”

The other parroted agreement. Feng Qingjue slowly retreated backwards, his previously unperturbed and stony face finally revealing a hint of immense fear.

Finally, he backed into the end of the alleyway, preventing him from retreating any further. His face was covered with sweat, his fists tightly clenched. In his heart, he told himself that no matter what he would continue to resist. In the end he could never allow himself to become disgraced!”

“Ah—!” Feng Qingjue loudly yelled, his fists tightly clenched in front of his chest. He ran in the direction of the four women, wanting to push through them somehow. However, this was only a delusional fantasy in Feng Qingjue’s mind.
