Upon returning from Demon Lord Artacuz’s place, Ren returned to Rasata City as Raffel and ordered One to continue hunting in the forest.

He heard about the dungeon that had just been discovered around the city, he wanted to go there but because the Guild argued that only adventurers who are Rank A adventurer and higher that can enter the dungeon and the entrance to the dungeon was guarded by some people from the kingdom, Ren couldn’t just walk in.

Finally, using his authority as Guild Master, Ren enlisted himself as a Rank A adventurer without having to go through the procedures.

Ren left his Clone replacing him as a Guild Master, while he went to the reception desk to take missions to the new dungeon.

Without a mission from the Guild or influential people in the kingdom, no one can get into the dungeon.

The receptionist greeted Ren who approached him.

“h.e.l.lo, can I help you?”

“I want to take a mission to the dungeon that just popped up around here.” (Ren)

“Sorry, that’s not possible. To take the mission, an adventurer must have been at least a Rank A adventurer."

Seeing how young Ren is, the receptionist a.s.sumes that he’s still Rank C or lower.

Then Ren showed his Guild Card.

Guild Card is an ident.i.ty card owned by all adventurers, containing various information such as name, rank, gender, age, etc.

Fortunately, Guild Card does not show race, because everyone in the guild is a Human, so

Guild Card does not need to display the race.

The receptionist was shocked to see the Ren’s Guild Card displaying that Ren is a Rank A adventurer.

Not more than ten percent of the adventurers in Altergaia reached Rank A, but in front of the receptionist, a 16-year-old boy has reached that Rank.

The receptionist became speechless and gave Ren a paper as proof of a mission.

Ren prepared his gear and went to the dungeon.

Ren was in front of the dungeon, there were some guards.

People who wanted to go inside had to show their missions to the guard.

Ren approached the guard to show his mission.

“Hmm, unexpected. You are young but have reached Rank A, you will be a great person in the future.”

The guards praised Ren's ability who had reached Rank A at a young age.

“Thank you. Well then, I’ll go in.” (Ren)

For the formalities, Ren thanked the guards.

“Are you going to go alone? Usually, people form parties to get into the dungeon. Well, there are some guys coming in alone too.”

“You must be very confident.”

“Be careful boy, there are many powerful monsters in there. It would be a shame if such a talented person like yourself dies in vain.”

The guard warned Ren.

Ren entered the dungeon.

In a very dark dungeon, adventurers usually carry a tool or use magic for illumination.

This was a new dungeon, so it wasn’t conquered yet, no maps were provided by the Guild for adventurers who entered this dungeon.

Ren lit the torch.

He saw some people hunting the monsters around him.

“Hmm, maybe this is the entrance so the monsters around here are not so strong?” (Ren)

Ren’s goal for entering the dungeon is to kill the boss monster inside in order to gain the ability to transform to the boss monster, so he ignored the usual monsters around him.

Ren continued to go deeper.

The Dungeon was shaped like a cave, the cave went deep into the ground.

Ren had gone down considerably, adventurers who hunted became less and less because the monsters were getting stronger.

Ren did not hunt for monsters around him, he saved his power to fight the boss monster later.

Days have pa.s.sed during Ren inside the dungeon.

Along the way, Ren saw some dead adventurers in the hands of the monsters, but he ignored all the dead and dying adventurers, he did not care.

Until not long after, he saw a girl.

He stared at the girl, he was stunned.

The girl was not beautiful neither attractive, she was just like an ordinary girl in general.

But it was not something like that which made Ren stunned to see her.

“Rina?” (Ren)

The girl looked a lot like Rina, Ren’s girlfriend when he was a Human being.

Ren found it hard to have emotions once he became a Doppelganger, but he loved Rina so much to the extent that even with his condition now, Ren still couldn't help having emotional.

They had been just dating for a while, but Rina was the first woman in Ren’s life that was nice to him and loved him even though Rina wasn't a member of his family.

In the end, they were dating, but not long before Ren lost his life.

Ren sincerely loved Rina from his heart.

The Rina-like girl was fighting against a monster that looked strong enough, the monster was shaped like a large spider.

The girl fought alone, she was visibly exhausted as she was fighting the spider monster.

Then finally the girl fell, the sharp spider’s sword-like foot prepared to stab the girl.

Seeing the girl’s urgent situation, Ren thoughtlessly Teleported to the girl’s side.

Ren held the girl then avoided the spider monster's attack.

“Who are you?”

The girl’s eyes blurred with exhaustion, she could not even identify who was helping her.

After the girl asked, she fainted.
