Volume 1, Chapter 5: The Forbidden Librarian Keeper

Just after lesson had ended, Ma Qing Xue came to look for me, I thought what I did yesterday was already quite over the edge, but why does it still not have any effect at all?

"You forgot what I've said yesterday?"

I waved my hands towards her like buzzing away some houseflies, not even glancing towards her, but within my heart I had already ripped myself into a hundred million pieces for doing such an act.

"I'm really sorry, I've disturbed your time!"

Looks like that was an answer that she had expected, for she then pitifully turned around and laid down onto her desk; can't really understand what she's thinking of right now.

(TL: s.h.i.+at, my grammar sucks on this one, anyone want to help me rearrange that above highlighted sentence?)

"Zhang Jian! Come out right now!"

A few male students witnessed what happened just now, clenching their fists, they dragged me outside, destination is our school balcony; I'm extremely clear on what they had planned to do with me.

"Do you know why you would be dragged by us up here?"

A guy angrily lifted up my collar, and placed his fist in front of me. Looks like if my answer didn't satisfy them, I'll be beaten to a pulp, huh.

"Ten books!"

Dealing with them, it's actually really easy as a matter of fact.

I stared into their eyes, and said out an phrase unknownst to most people, but I believed that they would understand what the meaning of these words are.

"Who do you think we are?"

The other guys who heard what I've said became even more angrier, they couldn't resist stepping forward to give me a punch.

"Two countries, twenty books!"

The fist, slightly loosened, as they looked between each other; as if they felt a little vexed to let me go just like that.

But they are currently still in a state of hesitation, probably because their conscience are rebuking them for it.

"Three races, thirty books!"

"Hsss!"

They drew in deep mouthful of gasps, for this condition to them is considered extremely generous in point already.

Afterwards they then deeply breathed in a mouthful of air, but still did not agree.

"Do you guys really could resist seeing Xiao Xue being cheated away by this human tras.h.!.+"

The guy lifting up my collar gritted his teeth in painful agony and rejected my offer, as the other guys also had a look of pity in their expressions, but soon enough they quickly readjusted back their stances and prepared to attack me once more.

"Four different directions, forty books!"

As expected, in this beautiful world, there is not a single male who doesn't like old veterans, there is no exceptions!

Once again, they became trapped in their decisions. 
"She will marry a person one day!"

I put up a realistic sentence towards them, but this sentence in their ears, is akin to death's bell ringing.

They knew this fact deeply within their hearts, but just didn't want to mention it only.

"She will give birth to a child sooner or later, and will grow old!"

"I'm not listening, I'm not listening!"

One of the guys had his mentality crushed, as he covered up his ears in a fit.

The others were but only slightly stronger than him, but their fighting spirit from the start had already gone without a trace. 
As long as they are men, they will never be able to stand up towards an old veteran.

Books are the ladders to the improvement of human beings, they will never marry, they will never get old, and they will always be only yours!"

They kept silent; their views had already been successfully changed by me.

A few simple sentences like these and it destroyed their mental defenses.

From the moment that all of them had tried to take onto me, half of their feet had already boarded the car.

(TL: pun on the term old driver, which meant old veteran)

They at this moment, just needed a pillar of support.

"Fifty-six races, fifty-six books!"

"Next time, you'll be our da'ge!"

They looked at me with wors.h.i.+pping eyes, while I slightly gave a sigh within myself.

Can't you guys have a little more modesty?

"Tonight, Su Cai Park, third public toilet, forth cubicle, fifty-six books, understood?"

After leaving these words behind, I walked down the balcony alone.

My biggest headache right now is how to handle the relations.h.i.+ps between me and my cla.s.smates.

After thinking numerous plans of action, no matter what kind of plan it is the requisite is that I must make Ma Qing Xue hate me, or the most minimum is for her to stay away from me.

I used my phone to hook up to the web, and attempted to ask for any possible solutions.

Question: "How do you make a girl who likes me, to hate me?"

A few minutes later, my question received a reply from four people online.

Answer one: "Are you crazy?"

You're then the crazy one!

Answer two: "I'm the doctor from the mental hospital, I'm extremely interested in your condition..................."

A guy came over to make an advertis.e.m.e.nt...............

Answer three: "Lao Xiong, don't tell me that you are a gay, remember to contact me~!"

(TL: Lao Xiong refers to "bro", albeit intimately)

You're then the gay here, your whole family are gay!!

Answer four: "R*pe her!"

Xiong di, did you just came out from prison?

(TL: actually answer four was an idiom, I just expressed it's meaning directly for sake of comedic effect tt the author is trying to say in here. Xiong di refers to "Bro / Friend")

After seeing these four answers, I knew that it's useless to try asking the net for help.

I can only depend on myself!

"Hai~ do you hate me?"

I blocked a female student who's walking by, and tried to ask a sentence.

"Please go and die~"

She used a smiling expression towards me as she spoke, that expression was like of looking towards maggots, am I really that hated?

"Can you tell me the reason why?"

"Can you first place let go of your hands?"

"Oh, sorry about that, it was just an accident!"

She then ran off after giving me a tight slap, which proved that whatever I did yesterday towards Ma Qing Xue should have normally evoked strong feelings of disgust from the females.

"Zhang Jian, what happened to your face?"

A sound suddenly appeared from behind me.

It's Ma Qing Xue, don't tell me that she was following me all this while?

This morning too, she actually waited for me in the entrance of my house district.

"Nothing, I've just knocked myself into the windows, oh right, where's your house at?"

"Um...um...my dad and mom will be at home tonight...next week they'll be overseas....so...."

She mumbled incoherently, with her following sentence saying something that doesn't link any sense to the other, which made me rather anxious.

"Where exactly is your house at!"

"I really can't do it tonight! I can go to your house...or maybe a hotel..."

I'd say, being a girl, can't your mindset be slightly more clean.....

But then thinking back, her being stimulated like this would probably be because of what I've said last time.

I'm really such a sinful man, I thought to myself as I silently imagined myself being stabbed by a couple of knives.

Looking at the deserted corridor around us; it had a few students about, but it would be hard to spot us at this spot.

Once again I used my ultimate human trash technique onto Ma Qing Xue, 
But this time, I won't do anything weird at all, I'll only just grope her body.

That's right, I'll just grope here and there, for my aim is her identification card or student pa.s.s only.

"Mm...."

She gave off a strange but sounded rather happy moan.....

Finally, I groped out a card-shaped object, and after taking it out it indeed is her student pa.s.s.

She lives at... a small district extremely far away from my house.

Even if she took a car ride it would take nearly 20 minutes of travel time, if it's walking then it would probably be an hour.

6 AM waiting at the entrance of my house district.....

There wasn't any public transport at 6 AM at all!

Although I couldn't rule out the possibility of her taking a cab or any other means of transportation...

But no matter what, the fact that she stalked me is enough to make me feel panicky already.

At this moment, I carefully examined this girl who confessed to me on the first day of school.

She is indeed pretty beautiful, although she looked to be as timid as a rabbit, as if anyone could easily have frightened her as she stanced with a slightly trembling posture; this girl in short indeed does make one want to adore her.

For the sake of not harming you in the future, I can only harm you right now.

What kind of logic am I spouting about? The me last time would probably give me a few punches already.

"Ma Qing Xue, I have a girlfriend already."

Leaving these words behind, I left her alone and walked away from that corridor.

I didn't lie, I indeed do have a girlfriend, until she had completely forgotten about me, otherwise we will always be.

Her stubbornness, can really made people terrorized till they could hardly breathe.

Placing a distance between myself and Ma Qing Xue, is for her own good. It's also for my own as well.

Once again, these thoughts came to my mind.

I might as well go and spend my time in jail, at least it prevented me from harming other people!

I unknowingly had these kind of sudden rash notions to do so.

"I really want to have a normal love relations.h.i.+p!!!:

I laughed bitterly as I stared towards the sky, and yelled out my biggest wish that I could have hoped for.

Returning to the cla.s.sroom, I was instantaneously being stared at by all of the girls with eyes that could kill.

Ma Qing Xue was sitting on her seat, her eyes slightly reddened, as the girl sitting besides her kept pointing and muttering things about me.

It's that girl whom I've stopped earlier.

"After our decision that we've made just now, congratulations on Zhang Jian to becoming Su Hua's fifth Human Trash on the second day of his transfer!"

"Applause!"

Other than those guys whom fell under my wing from earlier, everyone else clapped; I'm finally considered to be one of the school's legends.

Ignoring all of their noisy chatter, I considered if I was to transfer schools once again.

This school transfer, it's such a disaster! But Mom's acquaintance is inside Su Hua, which would make me hard to locate from that person, if I was to change schools, by that person's standards, I would be easily found in a blink of an eye.

Even if I was to be isolated from everyone around me, I would still prefer that than returning back to my old lifestyle previously.

Being tormented enough by my girl friend, I had quite enough already!

"About me being a human trash, it's actually a misunderstanding!"

Even though it's just denial, I still would need to retaliate a little, as staying quiet would only make matters worse.

"Oh? We saw you dragging Xiao Xue to the balcony yesterday, and although after she returned saying that you did not do anything to her, but seeing her messy attire, we don't buy that at all!"

"You must have used some kind of way to threaten Xiao Xue, right!?"

If I had known this earlier I should have just resisted from rebuking; although there's nothing in my phone that could have threatened Ma Qing Xue, but what's inside it is still not really convenient for them to see....

But since it's just me alone, I couldn't retaliate back, and my mobile phone got s.n.a.t.c.hed away.

After ten minutes, they should have already searched the entire contents of my phone; luckily I'm not the kind who liked to do alot of selfies, other than some contacts in my phone, the rest would be proof of my personal identification already.

"One hundred and eight books! Each of them are top tiered quality too!"

That guy who checked my phone had already been deeply engrossed in the screen's contents, he had already been unable to turn his eyes away from it.

"You....are you the one among all the old veterans that they bearing the famous t.i.tle of 
This student's words made me immediately drip a cold sweat, I've been recognized, my chuunibyou period of black history had been revealed!

"How....how is that possible!"

I would never ever admit to that, otherwise this t.i.tle of being the fifth Human Trash would definitely be established for sure!

"I would never recognize it wrongly, Mr. Old Veteran, please accept my bows!"

And he actually deeply bowed to me.

And all the other male students ashamedly lowered their heads.

"During those lonely nights, it's good to have you around!"

He patted my shoulders warmly, as true sincerity shone out from his deeply thankful eyes.

"The Forbidden Librarian Keeper, what does that mean?"

A curious girl who obviously did not know what it is asked, and this question, please forgive me for never answering it, ever.

"Among the legendary rumors, it was said that he possesses 103,000 of the absolute top quality books!"

Someone aided me to answering that question; it was the guy who had just revealed my past black history.

I'm finished, not only I'm confirmed the fifth Human Trash of Su Hua, my past history was also known by other people too.

Even if it's deceiving myself with a slight comfort, it's the fact that my relations.h.i.+p among the male students had became extremely good now due to this.

I didn't lose out.....as I resisted shedding a tear, I told myself.

Of course, I must be extremely careful now, as I've became a public enemy to all of the female students.
