Two Lives (Part 1)
Yeon Woo came back to reality.
“Come eat some rice before you go to kindergarten!”
“Yes, mother.”
His brother and sister also sat at the table.
Elementary school students ate rice in the morning first.
“Umuuu.”
They helped his brother eat his meal.
Of course, his parents were generous.
“Hey, Yeon Woo. Do you want some money? ”
“Yes please!”
The thoughts of his parents were generally similar.
[Please grow healthily.]
[Son, My beloved son.]
After peeping into their pure hearts, Yeon Woo’s conscience took a hit.
When he acted nicely to his parents from a young age, he was able to receive an allowance very easily.
Yeon Woo wasn’t worried sick for long.
“Is this the way life works ….”
He had the ability to compromise at the age of six!His parents were not alerted to this.
[I wonder if our child is gifted? If he is gifted, he needs to study early on.]
[Will studying English a year early work out?]
[To put him in a good college, I may need to loan some money……..]
Yeon Woo breathed a sigh.
“Mom. Dad. I’m going to Kindergarten.”
Yeon Woo deliberately called his mother first.
Allowances and snacks usually came mainly from his mother.
After kindergarten life, he believed he would have to worry about things like smoking, getting into fights, girlfriends, doctors, and many other things.
Then came the smiling kid, Lee Hee-Jin.
“Hey Yeon Woo, you know what? You can come over to my house this week. You’ll get to eat a lot of choclate.”
He believed that it was pretty dangerous if normal children could fall so easily into temptation.
Yeon Woo spoke his rejection with a strong will.
“I can’t, we are still too young!”
“Huh?”
Because he read other people’s thoughts and memories, he had seen too much of the ugliness in society.
“As soon as I have a large bottle of sake…..I’ll smoke some tobacco too. Tonight I’ll go to some clubs to meet a few pretty girls. This shows I’m a man with taste!”
Uncle Ho lived in apartment 1103 and sometimes thought about these things when he was alone.
“A hero can have many women is always flawless, but even though I’m having an affair, and am also in love … as a human I need love to spend the rest of my life to live.”
When he came back from kindergarten, he was told to go to sleep early after dinner.
“Today will I have that same dream? Because it isn’t normally fun either……”
He felt like he was always connected to the dream world by a string and that he was destined to be there.
——————————————————————————————–
Yeon Woo went back to the other world, and found he was in a n.o.ble’s tomb while being carried on the back of the dark elf.
His parents and their companions had a clean, safe home where they kept all the loot they plundered.
Like most babies, he wasn’t able to able to move around and thus had nothing to do.
Yeon Woo was only able to sleep and eat.
Yeon Woo yawned greatly as he stretched his mouth wide open.
“Babies sure do have boring lives, and I have to go through this twice. But inside the house there are some interesting things to see.”
His father, Rendall had a very well developed body.
As a man, whenever he went outside women couldn’t help admire his fine musculature.
He had the strength and speed to handle a sword with balance, incomparable to movie scenes, when he destroyed numerous fantastical monsters.
His mother Riga, was incredibly innocent and gave birth to him some time ago, but still had a slim figure.
Riga whispered tenderly, “Sweetheart, you need to take a break at home comfortably.”
Yeon Woo guessed his mom had a very happy marriage.
He would often become tired every time he tried to concentrate.
He would get sleepy, then wake up hungry again, after eating he went back to sleep.
Yet even after spending most of his time sleeping, he was still identifying the places atmosphere or situations.
“But are taught from the end of one ….”
As he ate well, time flew by.
After three months, he learned most of the important words that was often said.
But in the end, he was unable to understand most of the wizard Herz’s words.
Herz had often spoken to himself even when there wasn’t anyone else around.
“Mana with opposing characteristics … … to suppress the repulsing forces integrating … forming a whirlwind … the convergence of binding in … greater magic, pursuing a certain order on the matter.”
Herz moved near the fireplace and read a book after he came up from the bas.e.m.e.nt.
Yeon Woo with blinking eyes, through him learned the language.
“Difficult, so difficult.”
“The language is so diverse and the meaning changes very much depending on the way its said. I learned a completely different meaning to a word than I had a month ago.”
Herz would often spend time imagining magical battles in his mind, seeing his enemies spectacularly defeated.
“Being able to wield three types mana simultaneously, the explosive rate increased to dramatically shorten the chanting …… Is this such a force capable of fighting with monsters then?”
Even at his age of Herz was curious about the unknown.
Rendall mainly used his physical abilities, but Herz counted on his magic.
In his inner-self he felt a deep and explosive power.
He could see a mysterious aura flowing outside when magic was practiced.
“That’s how people use mana. I want to see a magic I can learn …. ”
Then he saw the dark elf friend show up to help to clean the house and get the fire properly managed in the fireplace as well.
—————————————————————————————————
The time Yeon Woo stayed in the dream world had already pa.s.sed nine months.
Curiously, even after spending so much time in the dream world, the time in reality did not pa.s.s while he was soundly asleep.
“Here, take this piece.”
Yeon Woo was not even having a little trouble understanding the language.
He would fall asleep listening to the conversations of the people around him.
Because he was equipped with the ability to read the minds of others, he was very proficient at learning.
“I bought the map last time. If you look at the topography doesn’t it seem like there are a few large tombs on the side of the valley? Sunlight is also s.h.i.+ning clearly, and the water that flooded the tomb has dried up.”
“I hope we get to enter a high n.o.bles tomb. It would be pointless to suffer in the tomb of a miserly rich man.”
“The Loews Kingdom has a tomb for the royal family, so there should be a lot of loot inside to grab.”
Yeon Woo was also thinking about his future in the world.
“Schooling is likely not possible with this group.”
Maybe therefore the job of these parents was likely to teach him about the family business.
Robbers belonged to the high income workers in this world.
Because taxes are not paid, a promising talent can be greatly rewarded according to their abilities.
It’s not really expected to get treasure every time you go through a tomb, but there were always plenty of monsters to fight.
Monster body parts or weapons and armor can be sold for a little money, but by itself its normally not worth the expenses.
In grave robbing there would always be danger.
Yeon Woo woke up to battles with swords and arrows when they met groups of monsters, and huge boulders rolling towards them.
There were also traps were hot liquid iron would be put poured down on them.
The degree of finding piles of bones and skeletons of grave robbers was as common as finding burger restaurants on the streets in reality.
“Kya! kya! kya! kya!”
Yeon Woo screamed heartily inside the tomb.
However, those going … to tombs could not experience anything other than fear.
The larger the tomb the more traps, monsters, and strange creatures live in it.
Knives, arrows, and axes flew like toys.
“I think that the baby is scared.”
“No way …… he is still too young to know what is happening.”
“Try covering his eyes so he doesn’t have to look.”They tied a white cloth around his eyes to stop him from being scared.
Blahh blahh blahh
He could hear them talking for sure. The atmosphere soon changed when he sensed something like a horror movie and he shriveled up even more.
A pungent and disgusting smell, the smell of rotting corpses was very strong.
Even the sound of water droplets falling from high places sounded scary.
Suddenly, somewhere the arrows being shot and piercing the ground resounded and Yeon Woo was in the mood to crawl into a ball.
Human imagination sometimes created greater fears.
“Now the sound of what got in a trap is working …. d.a.m.n. The ceiling is collapsing guys! ”
“Run from now on. Follow me!”
“I’ll go first, and do some reconnaissance on the traps ahead.”
Yeon Woo was piggybacking on the dark elf, who was trying to avoid cras.h.i.+ng into any obstacles.
“Avoid the rocks!”
Radical movements and absurdly fast speeds!
There was a rumbling sound as the rocks came cras.h.i.+ng down to the ground.
Yeon Woo’s eyes couldn’t see anything, so he was very frightened.
“The ground is cracking open. Be careful and follow me! ”
“Jump to the ground!”
“Kyaaah!”
Therefore we crashed to the ground while narrowly escaping the crus.h.i.+ng ma.s.s of rock.
The dark elves had unique vision and sleek body movements.
Therefore things ended well, but he felt he went through h.e.l.l.
A small figure inevitably released a thin stream that moved with remarkable quickness.
”Look baby is peeing. ”
“Wau!”
Yeon Woo took a long time to stop crying.
