In the morning, s.h.i.+n-sama appeared in the dining room carrying Rau, she was making a rare un-smiling face

While he set Rau down in a chair, s.h.i.+n-sama called out to Dea and Rona

When the two approached s.h.i.+n-sama, for some reason he took off their collars

Dea has a red stone like the one that Rau has

The colors are different, I wonder if it has any meaning?

I also heard that an elf's lifespan is about 300 years, and a spirit's is about 500

The lifespan of us beastmen is much shorter, I was told that we could peacefully die only after living about 70~80 years

I heard that humans lifespan is about 100 years

In other words, out of us, the first in sequence of who will die the soonest is me

It's somehow a weird feeling

The one who looks the oldest is Dea and both Dea and Rona have already pa.s.sed the 100 year mark

The two of them, even for the grown up me, still treat me like a child

After the two put on their collars, s.h.i.+n-sama left the dining room

Rau made no move like she wanted to chase after s.h.i.+n-sama and quietly sat in her seat

"Rau, what's wrong? s.h.i.+n-sama is leaving, you know?"

When I call out to Rau who is different from usual, Rau looked up at me with a face like she wanted to cry

"s.h.i.+n-sama, said we can't get married, and that since he's a demon G.o.d he'll never die and that it's impossible, and that even though everyone else will die, s.h.i.+n-sama won't and he'll always be like that"

While she was saying all that Rau burst into tears

"Rau wants to become a demon G.o.d too, else s.h.i.+n-sama will be left all alone"

I couldn't say anything to Rau's words

It's not something I'd ever considered

That demon G.o.ds don't have a life span and for them to be immortal

Living things have a lifespan

From now on s.h.i.+n-sama will watch everyone else die
