Isekai Shoukan chapter 26: To the black guild

 

 

“Black guild?”

 

I asked Tifal while having a dubious face.

 

“Yes, well to sum it all up, basically only the demon races and criminals are using it."

 

The moment Tifal said criminals It made my cheeks twitch a little and luckily she didn't saw my expression and continued talking.

 

"Because I have never used the black guild, I can say that I know nothing about it, but I know where it is so I can guide us.”

 

While pulling my hand, Tifal guides me with quick steps than a while ago to the black guild.

 

After approximately half of an hour, Tifal and I set foot in the slums which are far away from the guild. It is a decadent place because it isn't overflowing with vigor than the location of the guild.

 

When I looked around I saw a muddy child who wore unshapely clothes, quarreling adults who aren't well dressed, elderly people who sleep in the alley and several houses that would seem to collapse at any moment.

 

Tifal stopped walking in front of a ragged lodge before she began to talk.

The eyes of the man are covered by a hood which sticks to his overcoat and he hides his face deeply.

 

The man noticed me and Tifal entering the hut and he put the bottle he drank on the table before he asked us in a low voice.

“We two are vampires.”

 

Tifal answered the man´s question in an instant. We didn't saw his expression because he hid his face, but the moment he heard her words, for some reason he suddenly became displeased.

 

“.........Don't lie. The girl is a vampire, but the man is a human. Apparently, he isn't even a criminal, so I can't let this man pa.s.s through, but the woman can go. The man should go back quickly, this isn't a place for someone like you.”

 

The man picked up the alcohol bottle and drink once again while expressing his opinion at which we get irritated a little.

 

After having blown out a small sigh and seeing the reaction of that tall man, Tifal whispered into my ear quietly.

The moment Tifal finished whispering into my ear I used vampire-zation a little. Just after that, the iris of my eyes changed color and my cuspids grow a little.

 

The man sees me becoming a vampire and he only twitches his shoulders for a moment and though he was disturbed, he was immediately calm and began to talk.

 

“.........I´m sorry, my judgment was wrong. That man may pa.s.s too......aa, please cover your vampire appearance like awhile ago. There are foolish people who begin to act violently when they see demons. The stairs are there, please go quickly."

 

Glancing at the stairs he tell us to go down quickly.

 

After having been warned that I shall hide the fact that I´m a vampire, my vampire-zation was canceled immediately. When we got permission from the man, Tifal led me by my hand again and went to the stairs.

 

The stairs are connected with an underground pa.s.sage. The width of the pa.s.sage, can five people walk alongside each other on it? Black magic tools which are attached on the wall light up the pa.s.sage like many torches.

 

“Tifa, is the black guild really a hangout for demons and criminals? In such a narrow pa.s.sage, can we run away if this place comes to light to the knight order and the bounty hunter?"

 

I asked her with a wondering look. In this underground pa.s.sage where only Tifal and I are, our voices echoed.
